I love Lori Hatcher’s new devotional, A Word For Your Day! I love the concept, I love the chosen words, I love the length of each day’s message and I love the clarity of God’s word seeping through Ms. Hatcher’s pen. I can’t wait for the February 2024 release, as I will be adding it to my list of gift worthy books for the new year.

A mixture of "The Daily Bread" that you are used to in a longer form of "Chicken Soup for the Soul." "A Word for Your Day" is a good way to go deeper into bible study, one word at a time.

Thank you first of all for this ARC!
Amazing book and approach. I always enjoy reading devotionals, but this one has a special nice and different touch.
All 66 books of the Bible has that one specific word. You can read this book in order or simply look for the word you connect with for the day and jump to those 3 to 4 pages of reading. Deep connection. Worth the read. Enjoy.
I just reviewed A Word for Your Day by Lori Hatcher. #AWordforYourDay #NetGalley

This is an absolutely wonderful daily reflection book by Lori Hatcher. In a world where our actions speak louder than words, I love the notion of how just one word can hold so much power. By using 66 words, for each of the book of the bible, The reflections are simple but meaning and powerful. This is a great book for a devote bible reader or for a friend that is searching for meaning and growth on their faith journey.

I absolutely love the thought and prayer that has gone into this book of devotions. Lori Hatcher gives us 66 beautifully written devotions, each based on a separate book of the bible. This is the first time I have seen a book of devotions that spans every book of the bible, and I am impressed. The individual devotions are beautifully written and pack a heavy spiritual punch. This is definitely a book I will gift to friends.

Words are powerful, but the most powerful words of all come from God’s Word. Hatcher has chosen 66 powerful words from God’s Word to challenge and inspire us. Each day’s reading is packed with truth and hope. I want to savor each one and apply them to my day. They truly do refresh my mind..

Our Daily Bread is amazing for your inspirational journey. A Word for You Day is no exception to the rule. This is a wonderful book it has truly helped me along my days. I have many devotionals, but this one is amazing. I love that I don't have to read it in order. I can search for what I need on any particular day with no need to follow the book order. Please get it if you wonder what it has to offer. It is truly worth the read for your spiritual journey. Thank you Netgalley, Daily Bread, and Lori Hatcer for this ARC!
Many Blessings.

Love this idea, and I usually love reading these bite-sized little daily type devotionals, but for some reason, most of these stories just didn't capture and hold my attention. 66 words, one from each book in the Bible. Do you read one a day, 1 a week, or what? I really do enjoy the concept and liked some of the stories, but overall, this just wasn't for me.

This devotional is fantastic. I’m not a big fan of devotionals, preferring to study the Bible on my own, but I loved that she focuses on one key word from each book of the Bible. It is well-written, easy to read and digest, and full of truth. This will be added to my collection at home and given as a gift to friends.

Filled with stories from the Bible and from personal experiences, this book gives the reminder of how important we are to God. Each word for the day brings insight, encouragement, and inspiration to the reader. As I read each page, I felt my relationship with God deepening. Excellent resource to read over and over. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.

Having a word for the year has become very popular. What about a word for each book of the Bible? That is exactly what Lori Hatcher has given us with A Word for Your Day - 66 Devotions to Refresh Your Mind. I will admit that some of the words were a surprise to me but each verse and word has spoken to my heart. An example is thanksgiving for the book of Leviticus. Not the first word I associate with this Old Testament book but when verse 22: 29 is given and an in-depth explanation, I will now always think of that word when thinking of Leviticus.

This devotion consists of 66 short chapters focusing on the word chosen for the book of the Bible. Each is heart inspiring and thought invoking. This is a perfect devotional to begin the New Year or actually any time in your life. I highly recommend this book.

The publisher through Net Galley provided a complimentary digital copy. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, my personal opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

Biblically beautiful and a refreshing take on one word devotionals. I've spent decades reading through my Bible and am always thrilled to find a fresh and original approach. I love how the author has organized these one-word reflections by books of the Bible. It is exquisitely written and biblically sound. I will reread this, for sure, a purchase more for gifts.

I really enjoyed having a word each day to focus on. This is one word for each book in the Bible and I really enjoyed the short devotions for each word. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC of this book.

A Word for Your Day starts off nicely, rather like lots of devotionals. But she really grabbed my attention when we got to Leviticus of all things. I had read that verse many times before, but this time I saw it differently. It is obvious that the author has put more thought into this than the typical "God will fix everything" kind of devotional. Also, she is writing about what the Bible actually says instead of writing what she wants to and then slapping a verse on it. Having spent a lifetime listening to and reading solid teaching, I am not easily impressed, but this devotional did it. It is absolutely worth adding to any devotional library.
