After a 36-year career as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse and two decades as a travel nurse, the retiree settled in Galveston Island. As a former Sergeant in a multi-city crime unit investigating homicides, the author has a passion for writing mystery-thriller novels that revolve around murder. She began writing in 2009 while working as a full-time travel nurse and has since published five full novels, including the Look for Me series (historical fiction) and Archidamus and Legacy of Lies (mystery/thriller). Her works have won multiple awards, including the Grand Prize for Chatelaine in the Chanticleer Book Awards for Find Me Again. Her novellas and flash fiction works have also gained recognition, and she was a runner-up in the Winter 2022 Fiction Contest by WOW Women on Writing.
