The Bumblebee Garden was a lovely, educational read. A grandfather explains bees to his grandson over the course of the year and we get to learn along with him. This is a great resource for families hoping to teach their kids about the benefits of these important pollinators. Too often the only thing younger children know about bees is the stinging part, so it’s nice to see a book that presents them in a positive, non threatening way. I really enjoyed how this book focused on the lifecycle of these insects over the course of the entire year. The illustrations were charming and fit the tone of the book perfectly.
I received a copy of this book for review purposes and enjoyed it very much.

Thank you NetGalley and Floris Books for the free ARC.
I really enjoyed reading The Bumblebee Garden. The illustrations and information was great. I work in an elementary school and do a bumblebee unit every spring and I can’t wait to use this book with my students. The information presented is great for being able to use it and explain it across a variety of ages, which I will need with my job. Great book for kids

What a beautifully illustrated book to describe the lifecycle of queen bees and vital role of bees in an ecosystem. This story also describes seasons! The scope of information is perfect for children, and I loved the relationships between the boy and his grandpa and his little sister. A great storytime option!

Thank you to NetGalley and Floris Books for this ARC. All opinions are my own.

I am a strong believer that we should create the opportunity for bees to thrive and prosper. And this book did not disappoint! I loved how the author weaved together a story that was relatable to small children, but also taught them about bumblebees. What a great way to help teach students and children alike about bees and their role that they play in the world.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book provided by the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a great nature children’s book. If you have a little that’s curious about the lives of bees, or how flowers are pollinated, this is a perfect book for them! It’s informative without overwhelming the little reader. The illustrations are also adorable and really complete the book. I love how it wraps up and summarizes the life cycle of a queen bee, too. If this content sounds interesting, you’ll definitely enjoy this book!

This book was so cute! I loved how it was informational and taught about the lifecycle of the queen bee, but it also related to real life. I also like at the end, where they give the lifecycle of the queen bee. I loved the use of onomatopoeia. The illustrations were great!

I received and ARC of this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this book! It does a great job of teaching the life cycle of bees, what they give us, and what they need in return. Which is very timely considering the state of the bee population. I'm always on the look out for books like this, that teach facts through engaging fiction, to add to my collection.

I loved the characters, the sweet story and the delightful illustrations. I received a free advance reader copy, and I am voluntarily submitting this review. Highly recommend.
