Are you one of those people who must see it to believe it? Do you have a hard time believing there’s a real heaven and a real hell, that the ancient stories of the bible just don’t apply in these modern times? I thought like this until it all changed for good one spring day in 1998.

This is the true story of a young big-city couple that falls in love, marries, and moves away excited to build on dreams of a new life. But reality is stranger than fiction for some.

This is the story of Ellie Deen Stanton who meets Nicolas Cole Knight at a Connecticut soirée one hot summer day. Love blooms as quickly as you can walk between 63rd St. and 72nd St. along 1st Ave, the short distance between their respective apartments in New York City.

Recently married, Ellie and Nick move to sunny Central Florida and love the many beaches, boats, and bars they find all over Florida. Surprisingly, and unlike their life in NYC, they meet many new friends who speak openly about their faith and this begins a spiritual transformation.

All the situational actions described are based on a true story, however strange or shocking they may seem. This story began being written in March of 2019 while sitting at the bedside of my son, Walker, almost every night for over 150 nights of ICU care after he was struck ill due to vaping by an extremely virulent virus.

Writing gave me a solitary purpose to accomplish a dream while quietly supporting my son as he recovered and thankfully returned home in late July 2019. I hope that our story may touch your heart and help to open your eyes to see an enduring truth that is the reality of this world.
