Description

When everyone reads minds, a secret is a dangerous thing to keep.

Sixteen-year-old Kira Moore is a zero, someone who can't read thoughts or be read by others. Zeros are outcasts who can't be trusted, leaving her no chance with Raf, a regular mindreader and the best friend she secretly loves. When she accidentally controls Raf's mind and nearly kills him, Kira tries to hide her frightening new ability from her family and an increasingly suspicious Raf. But lies tangle around her, and she's dragged deep into a hidden underworld of mindjackers, where having to mind control everyone she loves is just the beginning of the deadly choices before her.

I absolutely loved this book. What is it with the string of awesome books I’ve been reading lately? Love it. Anyways. Onto the review part. Kira thinks she’s a zero, a nothing. She can’t read minds like everyone else her age and she can’t figure out why. It’s ruining her life. No matter how hard she tries to fit in, she can’t. She’s the quiet spot in a sea of noise and she can’t stand it. So what does she do? She pretends she has a hearing problem. Gets hearing aids to trick everyone. She starts trying to stand up for herself, even though she can’t hear what people are thinking about her. Little does she know, she’s something else entirely: A mindjacker. Sounds weird, right? Wrong. She’s insanely powerful because of the people in her family. She can hack into other people’s minds and force them to do things they wouldn’t normally do. She can control them. And with that, she makes friends with other people that are like her. They teach her what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. She’s all mighty now, and no one can stop her. How awesome would that be? Sure, her friends aren’t the best people at first, but they’re still friends. they help her out. The only catch is, no one else can know. This was an awesome book and I couldn’t put it down. Good thing I read it on my phone, lol. Thanks to Netgalley.com for letting me read this. :D Definitely check it out if you haven’t already read it.

Thanks for reading!
