As a science teacher, I love this book! It does a wonderful job explaining food chains, food webs, producers, types of consumers, etc. I definitely plan on using this book for my classroom during our ecology unit! The pictures in this book are beautiful and vibrant! I love the use of scientific vocabulary and the glossary in the back of the book will be very useful for when students miss a lesson. Would definitely recommend if you teach science, or if your little one is interested in ecology!

Forest Food Webs was a great read aloud! It has some really great facts! I also like how some words are bolded to help add emphasis. The illustrations are beautiful while not being overly stimulating. What a great informational story!

This is a fantastic, easy-to-read book about interrelationships in nature. The photographs are fantastic -- I really felt like I was catching these forest animals in private moments. This would be great for classrooms and families.
