Description
How do you save someone who doesn’t want to be saved?
Those called to stand guard against the end are broken, and Sköll and Hati run free. Now Arionna Jacobs and Dace Matthews face a threat unlike any before. Ragnarök is coming and they aren’t strong enough to stop it.
Arionna thought she understood sacrifice, but she never counted on her destiny tearing Dace apart. Ever since she nearly died, he has been consumed with guilt. Now it threatens to turn him into the monster he always feared.
It’s up to Arionna to stop him before it’s too late, but the path to hell is paved with good intentions, and Dace is hurtling toward self destruction. This time, Arionna isn’t sure she can save him from himself. Can she convince him to let the past go, or is her true destiny to sacrifice her heart in exchange for the lives of the people she loves?

I REALLY wanted to read this one, but there wasn't a link to the kindle after I requested it. It was too small to read on my phone, so I was a little disappointed. The first book, Fade, was great.
Review:
I think I liked the first book more, but this one was good too. I enjoyed getting to know more about Arionna and her friends.
It was sad to see the rift in Dace's and Arionna's relationship. I'm always rooting for them! I also am beginning to like Ronan a bit more. I was also super sad when a certain character died!
The end, oh em gee! I can't wait to read the next book! This installment deserves four stars!
I have a bunch of books and series that I designate as re-readable! This series is one of them. There is so much I love about this. The mythology, the leads and side characters - it has all the feels!
I read the first one and couldn't wait to get my hands on it to find out what happens to Ari, Dace, Ronan, their friends, and the wolves. I'm just sad that it ended and I have to wait for the next one.
We join them dealing with the after math of what happened. How things are changing and how Ari has to leave. There is more learning with the connections between Dace, his wolf, Ari and her wolf and how they all need each other. Ari also learns so much more about herself and her wolf and we actually get to see glimpses of her.
We learn more about Ronan and how he plays into the whole situation and more background about Dace. I seriously enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next one.
Couldn't put it down. Loved the plot of the book. Loved the characters. It's well-written. I will be picking up a copy of Book 1 to read. I can't wait to read more of her books. Would highly recommend the book to others.
Enthralling, emotional, creative. The writing was superb, I could feel every emotion. I couldn't put this down. I am in love with this story !! 5 stars
Talk about a cliffhanger ending! But no spoilers here.
Fall continues right where Fade finishes; with Arionna recovering in the hospital. Dace is at Arionna's side to help her recover, but Skoll and Hati are still around.
Like book 1, this one was a little heavy on the internal dialogue for my taste. But I like that it delves deeper into Norse Mythology.
It also develops Ronan's character, which I enjoyed. He's a good old fashioned bad boy, with a hidden good guy side.
I wouldn't call this fast paced, in fact, I found the first half a bit slow, but once Arionna leaves with Ronan and Fuki, things start to really get interesting until you reach that cliffhanger ending I mentioned. I flicked the page on my kindle and thought, "No! You can't leave it like that!" It definitely leaves you needing to know what happens next.
