Description

It’s Halle Henry’s first year at Lakeview Academy . . .

On a snowy January night, just days after a fire nearly destroyed the school library, Elsie Stewart, daughter of the headmaster and founder of Lakeview Academy, dies when she slips beneath the ice of frozen Clearwater Lake. Unable to right the wrongs she committed before her tragic death, Elsie’s spirit walks the halls of her father’s school, waiting for someone who can.

One hundred years later, while joining her sister’s friend Leigh to help clean out the school’s administration building before the big remodel, Halle stumbles upon Elsie’s hidden journal.

Obsessed with what she finds, Halle searches the school for clues that may lead to solving a century-old mystery. The only problem is that Halle also talks Calum Stewart, Leigh’s worst nightmare, into helping them.

Once Leigh and Calum are forced work together, sparks fly and no one around them, alive or dead, is left unaffected.

Marketing Plan

This is Stacey R. Campbell's second book in the Lakeview Series. Her next project is a middle school grade adventure entitled ARRGH! set to release at the end of 2014.

At the age of nine, Stacey was told she would never achieve her dream of becoming a writer because she is dyslexic.

As a child, she barely read until the fifth grade and had a creative knack for spelling words in her own unique style; today, however, Stacey firmly believes that there is no such thing as a bad reader and her main interests are as an authorto encourage readers of all ages to keep turning pages and to inspire children to follow their dreams.

- -One only needs to find the right genre and format, and the world of books will open wide and welcome them with open arms. –

To further her goals as an author, Stacey writes fast-paced action and romance novels using short chapters that allows her readers like herself to stay involved in the plot and the characters’ lives and to keep on reading.

Always striving to hone her craft Stacey reads over 70 books a year and also writes continually, having published two books to date with three more scheduled for release in late 2014 and early 2015.

Stacey loves connecting directly with her readers via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Pintrest and her website, inviting them into two-way conversations and creating more personal relationships. She also enjoys working with bloggers and interviewers to get her messafe of “Anything is possible” to as many readers as possible.

Stacey also teaches creative writing, volunteers in school libraries, and visits schools through out the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. She was a guest speaker at last year's Western Washington SCBWI new authors panel and is an advocate for children with learning disabilities.
