Xane Geist lead singer of famous goth band Black Halo has " Come Undone" literally on stage in front of a live audience he officially puts an end to the band and walks off and right into Dani Foosbrook.
Dani and her BFF scored an all accesses pass to backstage hoping for this moment but is stunned speechless when Xane asks her to drive him home.
Xane only has one thought on his mind get to his bolt hole and get totally and absolutely wasted drunk and forget about the cavalier attitude of his band mates toward him over what Elspeth and Steve marrying behind his back did to him.
The temptation for Dani to just be another groupie and throw herself at Xane is huge , but she can see that something is bothering him and wants to gt to the bottom of it , she loves him and the band and wants them back together, so instead of throwing herself at Xane , she stays and just talks with him. Xane starts to see in Dani someone who actually cares about him, when was the last time that happened? The fact that Dani actually cares is attractive and Xane starts to put the moves on Dani and though she knows if her mother should find out that the punishment will be great! If she gives in , but he'll this is Xane, by the time Dani and Xane move on o his bedroom the rest of the band has tracked him own and wants to talk. Dani leaves and heads home sorry that she did not get to spend more time with Xane and knows he will not call even though he asked for it. Xane is still pissed at them , has nothing to say to them and just wants t be with Dani. Xane sneaks out and shows up at Dani's place and whisks her off to Monte Carlo , where the two of them embark on a physical relationship and Dani discovers that Xane has no inhibitions when it comes to we're and when .

When xane's freind and bandmate Steve shows up claiming he did not realize that lspeth never invited Xane to the wedding and tht he thought it was funny that Xane was not attending , crowds are draw at the casino and security gets out of control throwing punches, they all run, Xane puts Dani on a flight home but the press has already picked up on her and Xane , so he meets up with her and takes her to his cousins Island to lay low Where yet again there relationship takes another step deeper!

These two are great together , the sex scenes incredible and the complexity of the relationships deep , th ith or leaves us with a killer of a cliff hanger ! I can not wait for the next book it is driving me nuts!

Xane and Dani are great together. Can't wait to read book two!

Just finished this story and I really loved how intense and savagely beautiful it was. You have two polar opposites who meet at the exact moment that one of their worlds was careening out of focus. Can a new relationship that was born out of chaos ever withstand the light of day? That is the question that we get to explore in the sexy new series by Madelynne Ellis.

First we meet Daniella, she is a young 20 year old who has had a rough life. She was raised in a crazy religious commune, where she was severely punished for her love of Black Halo music * A Goth rock band*. But Daniella has thankfully moved out of the commune and started trying to break out of all the rhetoric that was forced on her by all the members of the commune. When we first meet Daniella she is attending a concert of her favorite band. But unfortunately she picked the wrong concert to go to. The members of the band are having a huge fight and break up the band that night. The only bright spot is that she meets her idol, sexy and scary lead singer Xane. She gives him a ride to his bolt hole and things progress from there. With Xane in crisis mode Dani stays with him to offer him solace. She knows how it feels to be wounded, she has loved and listened to Xane's music for a long time. She feels like she knows and shares his pain, surly she can keep her hands to herself and just offer him comfort.

Next we meet Xane, he has always lived his life on a razors edge. Raised by nannies and unloved and unwanted by his parents, his only real and lasting relationship is his band. But he was betrayed by 2 of his lovers in the band and no one seems to know how he feels or care how alienated this betrayal has left him. He made the announcement to the band that they were through. He just wants to hide somewhere and get plastered. Everyone better leave him alone. But he needs a ride out of the concert and he sees a cute fan girl eating him up with her eyes. He knows he is using her, but he just doesn't care, she is lucky to drive him where he wants to go....As Xane starts to feel all the pain and emotions bombard him he realizes that the only way to get rid of the memories of an old love is to find a new love. Dani is sexy, and all fans want a piece of him, so they will mutually use each other then walk away.

As Dani and Xane start what they think will be a quick fling, they realize that they have a lot of things in common. Xane isn't used to people trying to protect him, and Dani steps into it like she was born just to love him. They both are hiding secrets, and skeletons never stay hidden forever, will Dani and Xane make it in the light of day? Pick up this book in this sexy new series, and find out!

A 5 Star Rating I've had this on my kindle for quite sometime and was hesitant to read it after reading some of the reviews. I requested off of NetGalley that way I'd have to read it and its a rock star book so why not. I was super surprised to find that I loved this book!! I was quickly pulled into the story and didn't want to put it down. I absolutely loved Xane he made the book for me i loved his attitude and everything about him. Dani was also a great character at times she would get on my nerves but for the most part i really enjoyed being inside her head. Anyway i hope this review helps out those who look at reviews before reading. Maybe after seeing this you'll give it a chance and love it like i did. Cant wait to read the rest of the series.

Holy smokes, awesome. The story was so full of excitement. Excellent plot development. The characters were amazing.
