Marty Watts, an apprentice at the Hertz County Police Department, lands his first opportunity to investigate with the renowned detective Sherman Hoakes. The duo initially dispatches to Netmore, an electronics manufacturer in downtown Granville, for an alleged computer hack. However, their workday takes a shocking turn when a Granville citizen disappears. Balancing the caseload proves tougher than Marty anticipated, but he's up to the challenge.
