Description

Hold Me Tight won the prestigious Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart® Award for Contemporary Romance in 2012 under its previous title, No Peeking.

SECRET LOVERS, REUNITED IN THE DARK

Alanna thought she'd never see Miles again. He was her first lover. The boy who broke her heart. But now he's the creative director at a high-profile ad agency and she's an impoverished artist. She needs the job he offers her.

Miles thinks he's gotten over Alanna. Brash, reckless, vivid Alanna. It's been eleven years, after all. When he hires her, he swears to himself that he'll keep away. For his own sake, and for the job: the office has a strict no-fraternizing policy.

Once they start working together, they're drawn to each other, tormented by what they can't have.

And then one sultry summer evening, a citywide blackout gives them an unexpected opportunity.

Tonight, in the dark, they can both pretend she's someone else. Tonight they can be together. A second chance at love, but a risky one.

Hold Me Tight is the first book in the Greenpoint Artists series, but can be read as a standalone title. The second book, Dream of Me, will be published in Fall 2014. Call Me Saffron, the first book in a companion series, will be published in June 2014.

Hold Me Tight won the prestigious Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart® Award for Contemporary Romance in 2012 under its previous title, No Peeking.

Advance Praise

"I really do enjoy the second-chance at romance trope, and Talia Quinn writes it well. Her characters are richly developed, and the story of longing and desire creates tension on the page. These are well-rounded, beautiful characters." -- Roben

"The longing between these two characters is felt by me as a reader. There are paragraphs that made my heart clench with the same longing and sadness the characters had. You know when your heart feels heavier and it's difficult to breath. Like a panic attack, only in a good way. And the best part? It's a series, so I'll be reading about the other artists in Greenpoint." -- Venus Milda

PRAISE FOR TALIA QUINN:

"There aren't many authors on my auto-buy list, so I get a special mix of glee and satisfaction when I find a new one. Talia Quinn qualifies. Quinn balances gorgeous prose and complex, layered characters with sizzling hot, emotionally intense sex scenes and vivid settings. Her well-paced, character-driven plots never fail to keep me up past my bedtime. This is romance done right--it's smart, it's sexy, and it takes all the right risks. Grab these books now so you can say you knew her when!" AJ Larrieu, author of Twisted Miracles, Carina Press.

This book totally sucked me in. Finished-it-in-one-evening-and-stayed-up-until-1:00AM-to-finish-it sucked me in.

Miles and Alanna have a past and it was fun to 'watch' them work their way back together.

I would definitely read more by this author. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!
