Description

Fourteen years after her abrupt departure, Samara Davis is back in Marietta, Montana. Now a widow, all she wants is to give her anxious four-year old daughter, Jade, a happy, stable home. Unfortunately, the heritage house she purchased is nowhere near ready for occupancy. And the man responsible for the delay is none other than high-school golden boy and love of her life Logan Stafford, available, interested and just as swoon-worthy as ever.

But this single mother has one priority. She’s all Jade has, and she’ll do anything, make any sacrifice, for her child’s future. And getting distracted by a long-lost boyfriend is not on the agenda.

Logan Stafford never forgot the lonely girl from the wrong side of the tracks who broke his heart. Not only is she as irresistible as ever, but her delightfully odd little girl has him wrapped around her finger in no time. Believing they’ve been given a second chance, Logan’s determined to pull out all the stops on the house to prove to them both that he’s a guy they can count on. But, despite how easy it is to love Logan, a second chance is still a gamble Samara can’t afford to take.

Fourteen years after her abrupt departure, Samara Davis is back in Marietta, Montana. Now a widow, all she wants is to give her anxious four-year old daughter, Jade, a happy, stable home...

A Note From the Publisher

Born under a Scorpio moon, raised in a little house on the prairie, Roxanne Snopek said “as you wish” to her Alpha Farm Boy and followed him to the mountain air and ocean breezes of British Columbia. There, while healing creatures great and small and raising three warrior-princesses, they found their real-life happily-ever-after. After also establishing a successful freelance and non-fiction career, Roxanne began writing what she most loved to read: romance. Her small-town stories quickly became fan favorites; print editions of her latest series were recently launched in France.

Roxanne’s personal heroine’s journey contains many on-going but basic lessons: introversion isn’t fatal; creativity is essential; and you always get lost coming out of the Vancouver airport. Accept it.

Oh, and never, ever leave home without a book.

Readers looking for a fresh voice that will appeal to fans of Mallery, Higgins, and Gibson, will be pleased with Snopek's Finding Home. A book about starting over and second chances, Finding Home is a heartwarming contemporary romance.

This was a sweet, gentle story of a second chance at love. And the bittersweet reality of having a child with Autism. The love and caring portrayed in the this novella ran the gamut from the fierce love of a mother, the gentle love between friends, the mature love between two mature and down-to-earth people and the strong love between man and man's best friend. I love BOB! Inspiring

I love small towns, and I love getting to return to Marietta, Montana! Apparently Samara Davis feels the same way. She is back after being gone for fourteen years. She is now a widow with Jade, her four-year-old special needs daughter in tow. She feels that Marietta is the best place to raise her – in a small, close-knit community that holds many fond memories for her. Imagine her surprise to find her high school sweetheart, Logan Stafford, in charge of the renovation of her house! It becomes immediately apparent that the sparks are still there, but Sam is totally focused on being there for Jade. She does not have time for anyone else in her life. Jade wraps Logan around her finger immediately. He wants to prove to Sam that she can count on him. Sam is a very hard sell. She cannot get distracted by a relationship. She HAS to focus on Jade. She is all she has. Logan will show Sam that maybe having someone to help is exactly what she needs. I love second chance romance!

Logan was heartbroken when Sam left town abruptly without so much as a goodbye. Her father had suddenly moved them and she did not have the opportunity to say goodbyes. Logan has never stopped loving her. He is still available and very interested in Samara Davis, and he intends to prove it. Sparks fly in this lively tale that is overflowing with conflict and the possibility of rekindled love.

FINDING HOME is part of the Homecoming Series, but can be read as a stand-alone. It is my future intent to read the entire series. I love the chance to return to Marietta, Montana whenever I get the opportunity. The best part is getting to catch up with secondary characters – and get to know new ones. In this book they lend humor and support to a sweet, poignant romance. I didn’t want to leave them. These are characters that you genuinely relate to and care about.

Roxanne Snopek wrote a beautiful second chance to love story that conveys emotions of the heart. The small-town setting, loyal friendships and new characters provide a heartwarming tale. It was emotionally satisfying. I felt good after reading it. You will, too!

What a great story! It grabbed me from the first sentence and kept me rooted to the couch until I read the final word! I will definitely be recommending this to all my romance readers! I can't wait for the next book from Roxanne! Much loved!

I REALLY REALLY love second chance romances. There is something so heart-warming about two people coming together a second time (or third or whatever the case may be) and making sure that whatever might have spooked them or kept them apart earlier in their age, doesn't happen again! And you throw in kids and I am done for! LOL I really loved every minute of this story. It was short, sweet and to the point. The small-town setting, friendships and second characters provide a really emotionally satisfying story.
Other than telling you it was well written and even tho it was short in page numbers, it did not feel short, there's not much else to tell unless I tell you the details and for THAT you gotta read the book!! Pick it up, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! :)

A great story of first love, heart break, and a reunion that proves the love never died. He was the golden boy, she was from the wrong side of the tracks but the attraction was immediate and strong until one day she was gone. Many years later Samara is back in Marietta and when she and Logan come face to face the spark is still there. The last thing she needs though is a new relationship, or so she thinks.

This story is wonderfully written and these characters are warm and funny and people you just want to see have their HEA. And of course what would a Roxanne Snopek story be without a wonderful canine character. Bob definitely does not disappoint. Excellent read that I highly recommend.

Three different romance books by three different authors share a common theme – from puppy love, true love developed when the protagonists grew up.

In “The Honeymoon Prize” by Melissa McClone, Nick Calhoun and Adalaide Sinclair have known each other since kindergarten. Nick proposed to Adalaide in the playground when they were 5 and she accepted. But as adults, they became just friends, that is, until they decide to have a marriage of convenience for Nick’s career and for Adalaide to have a home. It sounds good on paper, but can they go through with it in practice?

“Finding Home” by Roxanne Snopek brings the readers back to the fictional town of Marietta, Wyoming where fate brings Samara Davis to meet his high school sweetheart Logan Stafford. An abrupt departure 14 years ago ended their young love. As adults, they have to face different obstacles for them to be happy. Can they do it?

“Hero of her Heart” by Lindsey Brookes follows Bethany Warner and Tanner Montgomery whom their mothers arranged their marriage since they were children. Bethany moved away and everyone thought that the arrangement had been null and void. But, is it? Bethany is back and it seems that their mothers will get their wish.

All three books are easy read. And though there are dramatic moments that tug at your heartstrings, all are lighthearted with the expected happy endings.

One of the reasons why romantic books are very popular is because of the optimism inherent in all of them. These three books have them in spades.

Find Home by Roxanne Snopek is the perfect romance novel to read. I highly enjoyed reading this novel. The head female character heads back to a place where she broke a man's heart. She was the wrong kind of girl for him but he still loved her. Now that she is back and with a daughter of her own she doesn't need to worry about having a man in her life. But soon her daughter finds her way into the very man who her mother once was in love with. This man finds deep within himself that he is still in love with this woman and especially her daughter who has wrapped her way around the man's heart. But will the woman let this man back in her life when all she is trying to do is give her daughter the best life possible? Will this couple's love reignite? Or will the man's heart be broken once more? I would definitely recommend reading this incredible novel and find out what happens. Roxanne Snopek's well written plot and strong characters will lure you deep right into her novel! I rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars!

I enjoy every visit to Marietta, Montana but the Homecoming series are some of my favorites. I loved Finding Home! Roxanne Snopek gives readers a wonderful second chance love story. Samara and Logan were high school sweethearts that have the chance to rekindle their relationship when Sam moves back to Marietta.
I'm always eager to read more stories set in Marietta and I'm hoping to see more written by Roxanne Snopek.

Coming back home with her daughter to start a new life, the last thing she expects is to run into her teenage love, Logan. Logan shows Samara that he can be reliable, and he's good with her daughter, too. This second-chance love is a heartwarming story, and I enjoyed it a lot!
