"All About Marvelous Me!" is the kind of workbook that parents store away for years after completion so that the child can see what he/she was like when they were younger. This is the type of book that creates a little time capsule showing what this child was like, what they hoped and dreamed, at a specific age.

This book is a lot of fun and would definitely make a child think about how they really feel about things, as well as learn a little bit about themselves. It also gives them the opportunity to flex their artistic skills, as it does have a lot of writing and drawing requested.

When I first finished reading it, I thought "Wow! This requires a lot of drawing!" As someone who is more than a little daunted by being required to draw, all I could think was that this would give me anxiety. But upon a second flip-through, I realized that it was simply my sensitivity to the subject that was making me feel like there was a lot of drawing. There is much more writing, actually (although writing just doesn't negatively impact me.)

I would recommend this book to anyone who has children in their life: parents/aunts/uncles/grandparents/etc. I think I would actually have my kids do a book like this every year or so when they are young, to get a progression through the years.

All About Marvelous Me is a delightful drawing and writing journal aimed at getting your kids, well, drawing and writing - and doing it in an appropriate place rather than on your fridge or your couch! How can you not love that?! It’s a life journal where you can record your information from birth (I guess your folks will need to help with that…), through school, and for recalling adventures, such as a trip to the city, a trip to the country, or a vacation.

There are pages for pretty much everything, from school lunches, to best friends, to favorite sports, to career choices, to wish fulfillment (and what you can do to make those wishes come true), to what you dream, what your hobbies are, what you would do if you were your favorite animal, what you would do if you were invisible, and so on.

Clearly someone has a wild and comprehensive imagination and someone with a name like Becky J Radtke is quite clearly a suitable candidate. I mean that name is awesome. I don’t see the need for the 'J' in the middle, not with a name like that with no less than three consonants together in an almost impossible assault on pronunciation, but that certainly doesn’t take anything away from it, so it’s hardly surprising that someone with such a name would create such a book!

Once I saw sports, I started wondering where arts and media were, but these were not neglected. There were pages for books, TV, movies, and music. I would have liked to have seen one with art, but that's pretty much the only page which was missing as far as I could see. There's a time-travel page, a time capsule page, a super powers (I wish I had) page, a summer break planning page, a circus page, and on, and on to 64 pages of fun and coloring.

I recommend this for a great journal, scrapbook, and photo-album.

What a treasure of a book! My 8 year old granddaughter was all over this one. My only complaint is that it is a kindle book and not an actual book that she could draw and color in.

A brilliant interactive book which would be brilliant for children to gradually complete with numerous activities to keep them busy too! It would be great to use as a keepsake to show them after a few years have passed by too!

The topics covered within the journal are absolutely vast covering everything from wishes, time travel, dinners, films, music and everything in between! What's not to love? This definitely has some real potential and activities similar to these would be brilliant to use in the classroom too!

A lovely idea which would be a great time capsule and keep sake! If you have children, this is definitely one that needs to be on their Christmas lists.

This is a wonderful journal and is so cute!
This book asks about your ultimate hangout, your fears, your likes, your dislikes. It has thought of everything, and it even gives you suggestions just in case you don't have an answer. I would love a journal like this, so that I can draw and write, and tell my story. My children would love this journal.
I recommend it to all!

What a brilliant draw and write journal this is, one for children to complete and parents to treasure! Children are encouraged to complete pages with information all about themselves - from their favourite meals, friends, shows, places to their dreams, nightmares, hopes and fears . . . It is presented in a way that makes these activities fun and not arduous tasks. If my daughter had completed this whilst a child I am sure it would be a treasured book to be brought out and reminisced about for decades to come, and I'm sure other families will treat this in the same manner. It would actually be interesting to complete a new version of this every two or three years, just to see how attitudes change and abilities develop!

I actually think this could also be inspirational for some teachers and would recommend they get themselves a copy! Many of the pages could easily prompt class and group discussions.

A brilliant book that is well illustrated and written, one that is designed for children to interact, discuss, complete the activities and for it all to be a tremendous family keepsake that will be treasured for years to come.

Cute book for the kids to fill out about themselves. Simple and easy to do and have fun with. Charming artwork.

What a great book.  I wish my children were of the appropriate age for this, though I was thinking how much fun it might be to have some high school students complete an activity book like this and then share the results with the younger elementary students.

This is, as I say, an activity book, or a "Draw and Write Journal" as the subtitle suggests.  Author/illustrator Becky J. Radtke has put together a really delightful package of journal prompts for the elementary school aged youngster.  From the pretty standard "Family Tree" to the "What I Usually Eat for Lunch" and "Ice Cream Inventor" pages.  The drawings are simple and bold with plenty of room for the budding journalist's additions.

In addition to keeping track of a youngster's interests, passions, and day-to-day life, which is always a treat to look back upon, this book helps to build interest in maintaining a journal.  Getting children (anyone really) used to maintaining a journal is a great idea and hopefully one that they will carry on as they get older.

I highly recommend this book for anyone with young children.  I'll be buying a few copies to give to relatives.

This is a great tool for helping children learn about themselves, where they live and to remember childhood friends and loved ones!
