Description

She’s a little edgy. He’s a lot of sunshine.
Love’s about to catch them completely off gourd…

Textile artist Sadie Fox did not sign up for this. When she agreed to come home to Pea Blossom, Indiana, it was to care for her father’s beloved pumpkin patch. The deal was that—just for the summer—she would grow a ginormous pumpkin, win the Indiana State Fair's pumpkin contest and finally win back her father’s (grudging) respect.

Instead, a horde of wild hogs destroyed the. entire. patch. Which is precisely when the annoyingly sexy, sunshiny next-door neighbor shows up.

Josh Thatcher is a tech millionaire who traded in the office for growing gourds, including experimental squash hybrids. And for the life of her, Sadie can’t understand what he sees in her sweary, tattooed, prickly self—or why he’s offering to help his biggest competitor. But a storm-fueled kiss proves there’s definitely something growing between them.

Maybe it’s just attraction. Maybe it’s more. Whatever it is, it’s already bigger than Sadie’s fast-growing pumpkin…or the secret that Josh has been hiding.

This was such a fun read that I can't wait to go back into when fall comes around!
I absolutely love Sadie's personality and the banter between MC's. You don't see many books lately with a plus size FMC and I love when I find ones that are close to my own size to help relate to the characters even more. I've never read anything that has a pumpkin patch scenario and honestly we need more because it was such a breath of fresh air.

Thank you to NetGalley, Isabelle Popp, and Harlequin -Romance for allowing me access to enjoy this e-arc!

I was so excited to read this small-town story with a plus-sized FMC and it did not disappoint whatsoever. The main characters (Josh and Sadie) had such amazing chemistry and the black cat/golden retriever dynamic between them worked so well. I loved the inclusion of deeper conversations and talks about mental health and therapy. This always gives characters more depth and personality and makes them so much more relatable. The supporting characters also added wonderful dimension to the story, and I wouldn’t mind seeing a spin-off story of perhaps Grace’s new life. She deserves her own Josh.

I wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for a mildly spicy, small town, opposites-attract rom-com to pick up Let’s Give ‘Em Pumpkin to Talk About.

This is a very cute and cozy read with all the autumn vibes! The banter between the main characters was spot on! I will be re-reading this come fall.

This was a super fun read and is like fall in a book! It would be perfect to read during autumn! Especially sitting on a porch with leaves falling and a pumpkin spice latte in hand.

Sadie and Josh are both complex characters. They’re so self aware, which is something I fee like you don’t see often. It was so refreshing. Josh is so caring, he is my new fav book boyfriend.

If you like small town romances, grump x sunshine, and fall vibes you’ll love this book!

A solid 3.5 stars.

When Sadie Fox moves back to her quaint hometown to tend to her father’s beloved pumpkin patch while he's away, she plans to stay only for the summer. As someone who’s always felt like an outsider in her own town, Sadie isn’t exactly thrilled to be home—especially when a herd of wild hogs completely destroys the patch. Yes, the entire thing.

Enter Josh: her dad’s new neighbor, a former tech millionaire who swapped his sleek city office for overalls and a passion for growing gourds. As fate (and fall magic) would have it, he offers to help her rebuild the pumpkin patch—and maybe a little more.

This story had all the classic grumpy x sunshine vibes, with a refreshing twist: Sadie is the grump, and Josh is the sun-drenched cinnamon roll who’s totally smitten with her. I absolutely loved the role reversal and Josh’s soft obsession. The setting was charming, full of cozy autumn touches.

The pacing was quick, which made it a fun read, though I did wish a few parts were more fleshed out—especially Sadie’s relationship with both of her parents. Some scenes, particularly the spicier moments, felt a bit rushed. And while I enjoyed the story overall, I really wish it had been written in first-person dual POV. That would’ve added depth and helped the emotional beats land more solidly.

Still, this is a sweet, swoony read with a festive fall setting that makes it perfect for cozying up with a blanket and a pumpkin latte. If you love small-town romance, grumpy curvy heroines, and autumn vibes with just the right touch of spice, definitely add this one to your fall TBR.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Romance for the ARC. All thoughts are my own. 🍂🎃
