I absolutely loved this quick holiday romance. I couldn't help but fall in love with Trey Sheenan. I've been wanting his story and wasn't at all disappointed with how JP delivered. The reader gets a wonderful story that encompasses everything important in the holiday season...love and family. The Kidnapped Christmas Bride is a not to be missed, it'll hit all right buttons and have all the best emotions flowing this holiday season.

Sometimes, a bad boy isn't all bad; sometimes, the good girl didn't make a bad choice; and sometimes, love can conquer all. Redeemable love and Christmas are two of my favorite tropes. This story delivers on both. Trey "kidnaps" McKenna and TJ. At the remote cabin, with nothing but the basic supplies, they discover truths, love, family, and Christmas! I couldn't put this story down! I loved it from the beginning. This story warmed my heart and stoked the Christmas spirit in me! Read it and enjoy!

What an impressive discovery to find this author and the novella, The Kidnapped Christmas Bride. I had seen Jane Porter’s name over the years at the bookstores but had never read a book by her. Now I wished I had much, much earlier.

This is definitely a Christmas story, but the struggles, emotional baggage and community problems of the characters will give me pause for thought well beyond the Christmas season. Are the characters, Trey and even McKenna flawed, oh yeah, but also authentic with many positive qualities, too. They are so clearly depicted, I would recognize them if I was able to go Christmas shopping in the small community of Cherry Lake. Then as Trey, McKenna and little TJ work through the issues of family, life after prison, forgiveness, acceptance, and small town petty gossip, I am amazed at the insight into human nature this is given.

This story seems to coincide with A Cowgirl's Christmas by CJ Carmichael. However, it is not necessary to have read that book. Take this as a warning once you start reading about the people of Marietta, Montana, you want more and more. In fact, I would like to find out what happens at the church once Trey takes off with McKenna and TJ. Lawrence was not the man for McKenna and certainly not the father for TJ, but he deserves some happiness too.

A wonderful read!! A story of forgiveness, hope, and love. I read this in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. Kenna and Trey have a love so strong it has been able to survive the most trying times. But is it the love Kenna and her young son TJ needs?? Read this one and find out. You will be so happy you did.

The Kidnapped Christmas Bride is a well written and professionally edited cowboy romance novella.

After spending several years in prison for accidentally killing a man in a fight (the man was beating his pregnant girlfriend), Trey is paroled a few days before Christmas. All he wants is to reunite with his girlfriend, McKenna, and his son. Much to his horror he discovers that McKenna is getting married. He decides to grab her and his son before the ceremony can take place and spend Christmas with them in his cabin. Hopefully, he can convince her to give him a second chance.

This is a sweet, feel good romance story, even if it is wildly unrealistic. I suspended my disbelief and spent a very nice day reading and enjoying this novella. It ends with a satisfying HEA.

Jane Porter is one the best authors when it comes to romance so I knew this book would be good! With December right around the corner I was ready for a Christmas story and The Kidnapped Christmas Bride was a perfect read.

The Kidnapped Christmas Bride has all the elements required in a good romance including a loving couple separated by circumstance, misunderstandings and miscommunications. Once McKenna and Trey find each other again, well he kidnaps her on her wedding day, then you just know they will find their way back to the love they always shared.

Beautiful, heart-warming Christmas romance...you'll enjoy it!

I really enjoyed The Kidnapped Christmas Bride by one of my favorite authors, Jane Porter. It is both a heartwarming and exciting story, which could be developed into an entertaining Hallmark holiday movie. This book is about the ongoing love story between Trey Sheenan, McKenna Douglas, and TJ, their five-year-old inquisitive son.

Trey and McKenna have been in love with each other since high school. Trey, is the quintessential bad boy, and McKenna, is a single mom dealing with a tragic past in desperate need of feeling safe, although she is strong and independent. Trey has a good heart and when he witnesses or smells trouble, he does something about it, without thinking about the consequences of his actions. That is how he ended up in prison, leaving McKenna and TJ to cope with life on their own. Now Trey is a free man and wants to get to know his son. He was lucky to be released early for good behavior, which enabled him to stop McKenna from marrying another man. Trey, McKenna and TJ end up spending Christmas together in Trey's family cabin, and as a result, their lives are forever changed once again.

This is a sweet story with an interesting plot and well-defined characters. Ms. Porter's writing style continues to be smooth and easy to read. I felt the connection between Trey and Mckenna immediately and truly enjoyed learning about how their relationship evolved over the years. If you are in the mood for a slightly emotional, second chance romance, check out this merry holiday read.

I've always been a big fan of Jane Porter's and this book just reinforces my enjoyment of her writing. I've never read any of the books in the Sheenan series and I definitely will after reading this book.

Trey Sheenan has gotten out of prison for accidentally killing a man in a fight. while inside he has lost contact with his onetime fiancee and infant daughter. When he learns that McKenna is getting married to a local stuffed shirt, Trey jumps into action and kidnaps her from the church. On the run with McKenna and their daughter, Trey ends up at a family cabin and has the fight of his life to reunite his family.

This was a wonderful holiday novella. full of regrets over past actions, hope for the future and the magic of the holiday season

This was a cute and quick Christmas read. It had a thought provoking story line, but stayed upbeat and hopeful. While not actually suspenseful, it did have me wondering how some of the situations would work out. The book held my interest from beginning to end. The characters were well developed and the story line flowed nicely. I would recommend this book. It would be a good book to read while curled in your favorite chair before a nice warm fire. I recieved this book free from NetGalley for a honest review.

Jane Porter has delivered a moving and tender Christmas love story in this book. I loved her portrayal of bad boy Trey, who is not so bad after all, just misunderstood. McKenna too, is a strong character and as for their son TJ, well it would be hard not to be wound around his little finger. This story of a family coming together and healing and growing is perfect for snuggling up with and filled with the Christmas spirit in terms of caring about your fellow man.

When I first got this book, I didn't realize it was part of a series. It is an excellent standalone book. The premise is a little unusual but the author is able to carry off an unrealistic start and more than makes up for it with her excellent characters and dialog. I've read a few books by Ms. Porter in the past and have enjoyed them all as much as I did this one.

As it turns out, the book is the third in the series (with a fourth one promised soon.) I enjoyed the book so much, I certainly plan on reading the back list and looking for the new one once it is available. I really enjoy Christmas romance novels and it appears that at least one other of the back list is set at Christmas.

I was provided a digital copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley and am providing a fair and honest review.

I love a happy ending. This romance is refreshing and honest. Our hero isn't typical in that he's on parole after 4 yrs in prison for accidently killing a man. Our heroine is a single mom who love him but doesn't trust him when it comes to her heart and their son. This is a well-written book that keeps you interested and satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone.

The Kidnapped Christmas bride is the third volume in the Taming of the Sheenans series. I haven’t read yet (but I’ll do it) the first volume, Home to me, but I read the second which I liked very much.
After finishing Beauty’s kiss, I couldn’t wait to read Trey and McKenna’s story and I was delighted to see their volume was to be published before the end of the year.

As soon as I began The Kidnapped Christmas bride, I loved Trey. This novella doesn’t really tell the story of the reunion between him and his heroine. It tells how he must improve for her to trust him again.

The love they felt one for the other has never been a problem. But Trey’s behavior has always been an obstacle to a lasting relationship between them. Indeed, he is a real bad boy: he hangs out with rather unsavory friends, he has been arrested several times for minor (generally) crimes, he’s often fighting with the objective to protect the weakest and he ended in jail after being convicted for involuntary manslaughter. Let’s just say that he really perpetrated the crime for which he is punished and it’s what put him in prison for 5 years and what makes McKenna realize she must protect their son. In Beauty’s kiss, the reader learns she accepted to marry another man, and she didn’t let Trey know.

When the story begins, Trey is released from prison with good behavior after 4 years of imprisonment. He learns even before arriving in his home town that McKenna is to be married the next day, when one moment before he was thinking about how to show her he had grown up. His feelings for the heroine never changed and he loves his son. He really doesn’t accept McKenna marrying someone else, however he is conscious of his faults and at the beginning tries not to interfere. This decision doesn’t last long.

I often think in this case that it’s a pity one of the two heroes is very timely to prevent the wedding of the other. Sometimes, that can even make me doubt the happy end. In this story, I think it was absolutely necessary that the hero steps in. And I would absolutely not have been mad at the heroine for marrying another man, for once lol. However, I reassure you, there is no love triangle. The heroine’s feelings are clear as are her wishes for her son. It’s also up to the heroine to take the decision concerning her and her little boy’s futures. Indeed the hero already knows what he wants.

I really liked their little boy, TJ. He can seem a little hard with his mother, but we understand his reactions when we realize the real nature of his mother’s fiancé. TJ needs a man who really loves him, which is why he strongly insists on keeping touch with Trey. And even if Jane Porter has not had the fiancé be a mean future father-in-law in the novella, I think he wouldn’t have been good for TJ’s long-term well-being.

We meet again the previous heroes and the ending of the novella is wonderful. When I closed the novel, I didn’t doubt for a moment our heroes’ HEA, while knowing their relationship won’t exactly be a walk in the park. But meanwhile, McKenna will really have learned to accept Trey as he is, and he will have really matured, therefore he will accept more easily the compromises necessary to a love relationship.

You’ll have understood that I really liked this story and I’m anxiously awaiting the sequel with Dillon and Cormac.

not a bad story at all. Enjoyed it. Liked the plot and characters.

4.5 stars! I hugely enjoyed this Christmas story, full of emotional heart and genuine sweetness. The whole relationship between Trey and his son was just gorgeous, so sweet and filled with hidden heartaches ready to pounce at any moment. They have so many touching conversations and interactions that it’s no wonder McKenna finds Trey hard to resist. He really is. Learning about their own relationship, how it started and where it went so badly wrong, was equally as touching.

This is a tale of redemption rather than love. There is so much love here, it never went away, but it was damaged. Trey has a lot of work to do to make up for everything, but McKenna made mistakes too. I loved seeing them remember the good they used to share, while also forging new bonds. The whole book was just a big warm cuddle of sweetness.

In all I loved this read, it has just enough Christmas spirit to make it feel festive and enough emotion to make it all special. I’ll definitely be reading this again, and I plan to catch up with all those other Sheenans soon.

Refreshingly different kind of romance story.
Trey is a definite hero, broken and flawed, but a hero. He's a former convict, with a bad to the bone reputation. Difficult childhood, he never fit in, he was the wild and restless one. McKenna is just trying to be a good mom, she is trying to provide her son a solid upbringing, even though her son is a spitting image of his dad, with a wild, restless and stubborn nature. It takes a Christmas miracle to open up McKenna's eyes to see the true Trey, his good, protective, solid soul. The love for each other has always been there, now they just have to learn to work on the relationship, learn to live together in harmony. And the picture perfect family Christmas they have in Montana, is a great start for the future together. A sweet, touching, and original love story

McKenna and Trey are engaged to be married and have a baby boy, when Trey finds himself being sentenced to 5 years in prison. As time passes Trey hears less and less from McKenna, until he is released early and learns that she is marrying someone else. Trey heads to the church to see McKenna and their son and realizes he doesn’t want to let them go. A sweet second chance romance that will melt your heart. The characters are great and the story is wonderful, enjoy.

I have to say its rear that I will give a book a 5 star, I have to say this book deserves them. This book is about a women who loves a bad boy but when things don't go right she settles and is ready to marry another man. "Larry"seems like the perfect guy he is everything Trey is not...or his he? When TJ make a decision for everyone it changes everything. This book will keep you guessing but the love in between the pages sums up what family and marriage should be. I love everything I could not put his book down. This book is an amazing Christmas story and all about what is most important. It draws you in and make you want to go and visit Marietta MT just to meet this lovely people. You can not go wrong with this simple love story.

Trey Sheenan was incarcerated five years ago after helping a maltreated woman from the hands of an abusive partner. Although he did it out of good intention, he had a reputation for being a Sheenan and a bad boy, two words that complement each other. So he had to spend some time in jail, leaving his pregnant girlfriend at that time. Fast forward to present day, the day he got released from prison, Trey learned that his ex-fiancee McKenna is now getting married to another man. All he needed was to see the bride and their son, TJ before it’s too late.

Kidnapped Christmas Bride is a heartfelt story about young love, sweet love. About two hearts struggling to find their way towards each other after getting imprisoned from the past. It’s great to read about a man whose feelings never changed after all those years in prison. Jane Porter had written a wonderful story for Christmas. I liked her characters especially the Sheenans. This is my first time reading a story about the Sheenans, but I can already tell that they are quite a handful bunch. I love reading stories about bad boys, so this one automatically gets my vote.

This is the first book that I have read in the Taming the Sheenans series and I really enjoyed it. I love it when you can read a book in the middle of a series and not be lost. This is a well written Christmas story of second chances, the meaning of family, and doing what is right regardless of the consequences.

The Kidnapped Christmas Bride by Jane Porter. This is the third book in the series. I have not read the others but you don't need to, to enjoy this book.

The bad boy wanting to go good and be upstanding for the ones he loves. Trey Sheenan is not really the bad boy everyone thinks he is. Sure he likes to flex his muscles (sigh...) but he doesn't always think things through. He stands and protects a pregnant girl from her abusive boyfriend and it went bad and Trey had to pay the price. 5 years in prison for manslaughter because the boyfriend was drunk and fell badly from the hit Trey delivered. Jane pulled me into the story so much I'm already rooting for Trey.

McKenna Douglas has loved Trey since high school in Marietta. When Trey is sent to jail, McKenna must carry on for the sake of her and Trey's son TJ. She feels the best way to do that is to move on and find her son a Dad that is so different from Trey that her son would have a different role model. The things Mom's do for their kids - they try their best.

When Trey is released from jail early for good behavior and is told by his twin brother that McKenna is about to walk down the aisle - Tomorrow. He wants McKenna to be happy but he can't loose his son too! Trey is determined to see McKenna before her wedding and his last chance... is to show up at the church. TJ seeing his Dad wants only his Dad and climbs in the truck after his Dad and McKenna can't get him out. Fine, so McKenna just has to come too so Trey can spend one special Christmas with his son. He kidnaps her and TJ and takes them out of town to his Mother's cabin.

I am going to look for the other books in this series and other stories by this author!

It is a cute, heart-warming Christmas romance and I loved it.

Can a BAD BOY remake himself, grab a hold of his forever girl & son & start anew?

McKenna Douglas is the town GOOD GIRL, but when she saw Trey, she was hooked! She even had to seduce him because he thought he wasn't good enough for her. When McKenna was 15, her family ranch was broken into & her parents & 3 siblings were murdered & Trey was the only person she felt SAFE with! After her son was born, she wanted Trey to be less chaos & more reliable, but with just 1 punch, her world fell part!

Trey Sheenan is an all American BAD BOY with drinking & fighting, but his heart has always belonged to McKenna Douglas. They meet in high school & have been HOT & STEAMY ever since, but with the birth of their son, TJ, he wanted to put a ring on her finger & life Happily Ever After as their perfect family! But it all fell apart, when Trey was defending a woman from her abusive hubby at the local bar, a punch was thrown, the hubby die & he was put away for manslaughter!

Now Trey is out of jail & all he wants is to spend Christmas with his son & maybe be friends with McKenna, but his brother tells him that McKenna is getting married tomorrow! McKenna is finally marrying a man who is steady, reliable & a good role model for her son, but a hilarious thing happened at the altar! Trey wants to straighten out visitation with TJ before McKenna says, "I DO" & her hubby-to-be is PISSED! The next thing McKenna sees is TJ running out of her wedding to be with, "HIS REAL DAD!"

That is how McKenna became a KIDNAPPED BRIDE as she, TJ & Trey are at his mom's cabin celebrating Christmas together! TJ is a Fairy Goddude-in-training sprinkling his PIXIE DUST all over his parents & soon McKenna is breaking off her wedding & thinking that she might have an HAPPILY EVER AFTER with her Trey! Trey just wants to earn McKenna's respect & friendship & to prove that he is a different man. Will McKenna think with her head or heart? Can Trey prove that he is a better man? Is TJ going to get his REAL DAD & MOM forever from Santa?

This is the 2nd book I have read by Ms. Porter & I absolutely LOVED Troy's, Trey's twin, romance, but I do have a soft heart for a yummy BAD BOY! I must say that McKenna is a ROCKING name that just so happens to be my maiden name & my daughter is always complaining that I didn't name her McKenna! McKenna was a grown up woman wanting a grown a$$ Trey, but she still craved his inner wildness! Trey had a great beginning in this romance as his jail journey was filled with shame, pain, loneliness & regret, but he REBULIT himself into a better & stronger man. Trey's tale had me UGLY CRYING my eyes out & that was only the first chapter! This romance would not of work as well without the Fairy Goddude-in-training TJ! He was the Christmas heart of this emotional rollercoaster ride romance! Now my romance peeps know I LOVE some scorching scenes, but Ms. Porter had a squeaky clean G rated romance & it totally worked for this tale & I didn't miss the scorchingNESS! Ms. Porter has a great Montana hometown feel & she even had all the Sheehan boys & their clans join in the holiday mayhem & she makes me want to GOBBLE UP all the other male Sheenans books! I am a BIG SUCKER for a gorgeous BAD BOY, a Fairy Goddude-in-training sprinkling his LOVING PIXIE DUST aplenty & a REUNITED LOVERS storyline, but Ms. Porter stepped it up with her warm & embracing Montana small town feel, so she earns my score of 4 fingers up & 8 toes & I will so push her Amazon AUTHOR FAVORITE BUTTON!

NetGalley ARC given for my honest review.

Book Review: The Kidnapped Christmas Bride by Jane Porter

Jane Porter fans will have a field day in “The Kidnapped Christmas Bride” with the return of bad boy Trey Sheenan. Out from prison, he finds out that the love of his life, McKenna Douglas is getting married the next day.

Running true to form, Trey promptly kidnaps McKenna on her way to the altar. Together with their son TJ, the trio speeds out of Marietta with the whole town in surprise.

But is it really kidnapping if the “kidnapee” is willing?

“The Kidnapped Christmas Bride” is book 3 of the “Taming of the Sheenans” series. And like its predecessors, it is a fun read with lots of endearing moments. The book is Rated M for Mature due to subject matter (kidnapping) and some sexual content.

The Sheenans - especially Trey - don't have a great reputation. That's never put McKeena Douglass off loving him since she was fifteen years old. Now things have changed. Trey was always impetuous and didn't mind looking for and getting into bother. McKenna always saw through the troubled bad boy attitude and saw a totally different side to him but he let her down once too often, leaving her bringing up their sone, TJ, alone whilst he served time in prison for killing a man in a fight.

After getting released early for good behaviour, Trey returns to his hometown to discover that McKenna is getting married to someone else. Prison has changed Trey and he's desperate to be a real Dad to his son - and to show McKenna that he's 'grown up' - but he's running out of time!

Can love find a way to reunite this family? This is definitely a different 'second chance' romance with lots of angst, problems and heart-melting moments. The characters are beautifully created but traumatised by the past. The author makes it easy to empathise with them - you'll be hoping things work out all the way through! A thoroughly enjoyable, tear jerker story.

McKenna is waiting for her wedding to start, any second she will be given the go ahead to walk down the aisle to her future. Fortunately for Trey he has been given a gift, after being gone for 5 years, he can finally speak to Mac (McKenna) and their son TJ. After searching for her unsuccessfully the night before he has no choice but to interrupt Mac’s wedding.
Mac’s world has just come crashing down around her, her first love, her son’s father, the town bad boy has just walked in and interrupted her wedding. And he does the unthinkable, he kidnaps her and her son. McKenna quickly realizes her feelings are flooding back to her, shes at risk of falling back in love with Trey, as if she had ever stopped loving him. Trey is enjoying himself for the first time in years, he has his son and the love of his life all to himself in the family cabin. McKenna has called off her engagement, and his heart is falling steadily for his high school love.
The Sheenan family is picking up where they left off until Trey risks it all to help strangers. Helping a stranger is what go him sent away for years, and now he is risking it all again. As McKenna watches Trey risk his life all of his reckless behavior begins to make sense. But is is too late for Trey and McKenna to put all the pieces together and salvage their relationship, will this last risk take Trey’s life again?
This second chance romance will make you believe in life, love and happiness all over again, Jane Porter did a fantastic job with The Kidnapped Christmas Bride. I enjoyed reading about TJ and Trey and how they were interacting and bonding, and how McKenna was going to fight for their relationship after Trey’s revelation. The Kidnapped Christmas Bride is a great, quick read for the Holiday season.

This one is the 3rd book, but the 1st time reading one of Jane Porter’s books. Now having said that, I think the book stood on it’s own very well. I didn’t feel like I was missing the bigger picture, which is a good thing. I tend to read Christmas stories during warm weather and vise aversive in the cold weather. I thought it was a pretty story especially with little TJ. He offered up some “aawww” moments in his innocence. The sweetness of the storyline was nice to read as the family is reunited for the Christmas holidays. Even if it’s under the most unusual circumstances. It definitely has that “warm & fuzzy” appeal to it. Looks like I’m going to find the rest of the books in the series. I think that I’ll give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

OK, so if you keep track of my reviews at all, you MUST know that Marietta is one of my favorite places to spend a few hours in. This was a really heart-warming story about second chances, forgiveness, love, hope, family and faith! Kenna and Tray haven't had the best traveled road in life, but they have a child together and their love is STRONG. You can feel it. But is it strong enough to blur the past and not let it get in the way of the future. Is it really what's best for the family they have already created ..... ? Well, of course THIS reader thinks so, but you just go on and read and let me know what YOU think, k!
Beautifully written and well executed story. Nice, quiet afternoon read!

This was a really sweet Christmas romance story about bringing families together. The main couple have been lovers since high school and eventually had a baby together. But when Trey lands himself in jail this changes his whole relationship with McKenna and his only son. When he gets out early for good behaviour he finds out that his high school sweetheart and the mother of his only child is marrying someone else. And what doe he do? Of course he kidnaps her and their son on her wedding day.

This is where I thought that this would be a fantastic story to read on the days leading to Christmas. But after finishing this book I felt that there was something missing that I just couldn’t put my finger on. Although, the story was sweet and the chemistry between McKenna and trey were off the charts I still hoped that when they were in the cabin that both of them would use that time to sort some things out. They did communicate a lot during that time and they both obviously loved each other but I felt that they would have done more I guess.

This was a fun short story to read and I did enjoy it to some extent but it just didn’t hit all my buttons that I thought that it would.

ARC provided by Tule Publishing via NetGalley for an honest review. I read most of the Marietta stories and they seem to be hit or miss for me. This one was a definite hit. I loved the hero and his last effort to pull his estranged family (ex & son) together.

I wasn't over thrilled with the fact that McKenna wasn't clued into the bad decision she was making by marrying someone else who wasn't right for her or her son. It seems she should have had some misgivings before being kidnapped. It made me a little skewed against her in the beginning of the read.

I really liked that Trey was still so in love with McKenna and so enamored with his son and being a dad. I really felt for him and his circumstances and how it seemed fate was working against him. I did like how once they got together in the cabin Trey and Mckeena actually talked, communicated and then really saw who the other person was and knew the love was still there.

****An Advanced Reader Copy of The Kidnapped Christmas Bride by Jane Porter was generously provided to me via NetGalley in exchange of honest review.

I enjoyed it!

I didn't know this book was the third book of the series but overall after I read it, I quite liked it. Even though there's a bit confusion about TJ's age and McKenna's push-and-pull attitude toward Trey, I really think this book has it.

I was hoping for a bit more drama though. Plus a good closure with Lawrence. All in all, it's a good start for me with Jane Porter. Look forward to read her other books.

The Kidnapped Christmas Bride is a book that I’ve had sitting on the pile for quote a while (yes, bad person who requested the ARC and didn’t read in a timely manner), but with Christmas rapidly approaching (and yet, the weather thinking it is much more like early fall); I was looking for a book that I hoped would get me into the Christmas-ish type mood. The picture of the bride in her wedding dress with snow covering the ground seemed like the perfect way to try and get into a Christmas mood.

This was also the first time that I’d read anything by Jane Porter, although I’ve seen her books at my local library before. So I also got to dig my teeth into someone new, which is something I enjoy. The Kidnapped Christmas Bride was well-written, so much so that I wanted more – it was a short read but I felt like it was a complete story. I will point out that The Kidnapped Christmas Bride is book 3 in a series, so there were some hints of the previous books and how everything worked out in them (since I know there are many people out there who like to read books in order – i’m not one of them).

The Kidnapped Christmas Bride used second chance romance and redemption romance/trying to get your life back, in this case, after a stint in jail. I honestly can’t remember the last time I actually read a fiction book that featured someone who had very recently been released from prison (most of the ones I can think of, it had been in their past, as part of the bad boy persona). So this was something different for me and I kind of liked the approach that the author took. Although I don’t know if kidnapping your former love is the way to necessarily start your life over again (just sayin…). While I liked Trey, McKenna kind of rubbed me the wrong way – I could understand Trey’s actions, but hers were kind of tacky, i mean, it was her wedding day…maybe its because I have a hard time seeing how people can get all the way to the wedding day/the alter before realizing it isn’t the relationship for them…like seriously! I think in part that is why I only gave this book 3 stars.

That being said, while I wasn’t a fan of McKenna, I enjoyed the authors writing style enough, that I will probably check out something else writing by her in the future.
