Description
After a long night of repairing broken bones and stitching torn flesh, orthopedic surgeon Nicolas Renault dozes off in the surgeons' lounge. He dreams of medieval times, stepping into the boots of Merik, a valiant knight. As he explores a place that feels eerily familiar, he stumbles upon a blue flower that could cure the illness of a friend's son...
Upon waking, the chills that grip him spark unsettling questions: Was this dream prophetic? Could it be evidence of cellular memory?
Dive into the first volume of a hybrid series, where realism and fantasy intertwine against a backdrop of espionage and medical intrigue.

A Note From the Publisher
Éric Renaud was born in a town in southern Quebec, Canada, in
1961. As a young man, he developed a true passion for reading.
He chose to become an orthopedic surgeon and earned numerous
graduate degrees from the universities of Montreal and Toronto.
It was only after twenty-five years of university that he felt
satisfied with his training and reached the pinnacle of his
profession. A health issue forced him to reconsider his priorities in
life, bringing forth the artist within him. A speaker and author of
several scientific articles, he presents his first novel flavored with
medieval elements and a wink to his life as a surgeon.

With its thoughtful prose and engaging dual narratives, The Surgeon Who Dreamed He Was a Knight is a tribute to the nobility of the medical profession and a timeless reminder of the power of dreams and self-discovery."
