Matt Granite is the star catcher for his high school baseball team. However he is by passed by every major league team in the baseball draft. Matt and his teammates go to the San Francisco Gladiators, San Gabriel Tangelos friday night baseball game. By the end of the night they will have turned the stadium upside down and Matt Granite will become the center of the baseball universe.

About the author: Greg Sheehan lives in San Mateo, Ca. He started playing organized baseball at six years old with a league for eight year olds. With his twin brother Mark they became known as the Dynamic Duo on the field. Greg led the Bellarmine Bells to the WCAL baseball championship in 1974 and led the California CCS in rbi's and batting average. He was the MVP of the Junior Varsity team at San Jose State in 1975. He has batted against many future major league pitchers, From Dave Righetti to Rick Foley.
