The story has laughs, suspense, pain, secrets, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested.

This is Olivia and Dylan’s story. Dylan wants Olivia and will stop at nothing to get her. Olivia is broken from her last relationship. She has issues she has never really dealt with. The chemistry between them is hot. But with her past issues can Olivia really let Dylan in? Will her fear and the secrets she is keeping bring the end of their relationship. Or will Dylan fight for them even if she can’t?

I loved these characters and all the Dare family members. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book, this series and this author.

Dare to Touch is the book I've been absolutely dying to read, my only regret is that life got in the way and I couldn't read it until now. But good heavens it was well worth the wait, and confession time - I re-read the minute I finished it the first time. Olivia and Dylan were hotter than hades and possibly my favorite couple in the Dare series to date.

Trust is given not taken. If any other couple can't teach you that, Olivia and Dylan can.. Ms. Phillips has once again expertly woven a steamy, erotic novel around a captivating and mind-blowing story. She truly has found her calling in this series and I cannot wait for her to give us more!

Dare to Touch will be ordered in paperback and sit prettily atop my re-reach shelf for years to come. I don't have time to re-read many books these days, however I always find myself returning to the Dare series and reveling in the adventures. A definitely MUST-READ!

This is a great series of standalones, but better if you read the series in order for full backstories. *see below* I love the Dare family, what a complex developed group of characters. This book is the story of Olivia & Dylan, they work together and once she realizes and attempts to overcome her trust/abandonment issues they can play together . Can see overcome these issues to have a HEA? Is he Mr. Right? This story is well written and Carly never disappoints... there is hot steamy sex and a fast paced highly addictive story. I met Carly this May at Sexy in the City in NYC and purchased the entire series in paperback, she was so friendly and fun!!!! Dare to Hold next to read, then Dare to Rock!!!

I really really REALLY heart Olivia and Dylan!

Dylan was the epitome of an alpha male with a gooey inside LOL He was charming and sweet and persistent and never ever gave up! Olivia has had a tough time of it with the male species in her past. She hasn't had the best of luck not only with relationships, but with her own father. She's scared out of her mind to open herself up Dylan but Dylan manages to breath life back into Olivia. Into the passionate woman she deserves to be. And together they rock it like no other **swoon**

I loved that their HEA builds from a past of friendship. It allows them to know each other's issues and set-backs before hand and they both handle each other beautifully. They were explosive to read and I was sorry to see their story end!

Dylan Rhodes has been hot for Olivia Dare, for a long time. They showed up in one of the other books. The problem is he wants to take it to the next, next level and in some ways that scares her. Is he doing this for real or is he just being him, Dylan. Every excuse she comes with he has one for them being together. She just doesn’t know that he wants her for lifetime and it is now for him to prove to her that they can have it all. Job, happiness, life as a couple. Olivia must get over her own fear and explain it to Dylan. A lot of this takes place while they are at the pro bowl and that makes there time together that more intense. A good book along with the other books.

And just when she'd come to terms with her pregnancy, tragedy struck and her worst nightmare became a reality. It's for all those reasons and then some that she denies with all her might the attraction she feels for Dylan, her super-hot co-worker.

Dylan has had it. Seeing that everyone's getting hitched at the office makes him realize that it's about time he amps his game with Olivia. He;s ready to have a serious relationship and he knows she's got secrets but so does he. The difference is he's willing to open up and share his past if it means he can move forward and win Olivia's heart. But his challenge is getting Olivia to open up to him and let him show her there's more to them than meets the eye.

Once Dylan starts there's nothing to stop him. He wants Olivia and not for just a fling. He wants her forever. And just then complications arise. Meg, his ex, shows up crying about the loser her ex is. She relies a lot on Dylan and this hadn't been a problem before because Olivia wasn't in the picture. Now that she is Dylan makes it clear to Meg she needs to stop relying on him and his sister as much as she does. Meg soon becomes friends with Olivia, and in befriending her Olivia comes to terms with her past and how wrong she's been. Shess then determined to go all in with Dylan.

Carly Phillips knows how to write romance that reaches her readers's hearts. In this installment she touches upon a couple of hard subjects and does it in such a way one can only feel for the characters, especially Olivia. I've loved the previous books in this series, but I think this is by far my favorite. I wasn't sure how I felt about Meg at first. She seemed needy and I wanted her out of the picture, then again the way Carly worked her scenes made ending up liking Meg more than I wanted to. Dylan is definitely my favorite hero in this series, and he's NOT an infamous Dare, imagine that! It was nice to see the other Dare siblings and significant others along with their babes in the epilogue. However, it punch-packed what is coming up in the next installments and I feel that took away from Dylan and Olivia's story. Regardless, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a light read with lots of aww moments.
