Description
You were born enlightened. Discover how natural it is to be aware of your true self.
We think all day long, and thinking appears to be consciousness, but it is actually a culturally acquired mental function. The consciousness we have at birth is not made of words. This nonverbal consciousness is the true source of intelligence, wisdom, and well-being.
In HOLY VOID: Zero-Thought-Consciousness, philosopher Yarek Alfer teaches readers to be in touch with their innate spirituality. Through a series of questions and answers, which he calls Conversations, Alfer explains the significance of nonverbal consciousness and how to become aware of it. Influenced by the author’s studies in Advaita philosophy, travels in India, and encounters with spiritual teachers, including His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, HOLY VOID offers readers an accessible path to awareness of their own enlightenment.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Yarek Alfer earned his master of arts in philosophy from the University of Madras in India. Afterward, he spoke in Paris, Brussels, New York, and Los Angeles to audiences interested in spirituality and consciousness. Through these speaking events, Yarek developed an understanding of the misconceptions people have about consciousness. HOLY VOID, his first book, is being published posthumously.
