Minecraft crafts! The kids at my library would enjoy this. I could also see using this in a Minecraft event at the library. The crafts have wonderful pictures and easy to follow directions.

BOOK REVIEW: “Throw a Minecraft Party!” By Alix Wood

Do you have a kiddo who loves Minecraft, but you’re still trying to figure out what a creeper is? 🤣 This book is perfect for your little Minecraft obsessed dude or dudette! It’s full of party decoration and game ideas that you can accomplish on the cheap!

Ideas include:
💚 Creeper themed cup smash game
💚 Ghast Piñata
💚 Pin the tail (on the pig)
💚 Mining game
💚 Creeper bowl
💚 Crafting challenge
💚 Apple and donut bobbing
💚 Creeper toss
💚 Treasure hunt
💚 …and more!

There are very few craft supplies needed for these crafts! Most can be accomplished with items you probably have on hand! Tissue paper, markers, cardboard boxes, card stock, etc.

My son is 8 and loves all things Minecraft, so he was super excited to go through this book with me and decide what decorations he wants for his next birthday!

I received this book for free from @netgalley in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. I rate this book as 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Make Minecraft Games by Alix Wood would be a perfect book for someone who doesn't know much about Minecraft but that would want to host a good party.

The games are very well laid out, with step by step instructions and templates to then copy. Although I don't know if I would use sawdust, the suggestion to use paper instead was appreciated.

A lot of these games could be quickly set up which is also appreciated, and scaled up or down depending on the party guests.

This book is also timely since the movie just released, and I could see a few parties wanting to be Minecraft this year.

Although most of these games could probably be found by doing some internet searches, having it all in one book is good for those that just want to grab it and start getting ready for the party!
