Description
Ever since he returned from Dormia, Alphonso Perplexon has enjoyed sleeping like a normal person. No dropping off to sleep in the middle of school. No waking up at the top of a tree. In fact, no sleepwalking at all.
But then, on a class trip to France, Alphonso feels that strange and familiar pull of sleep. The next thing he knows, his sleeping self has taken over and he finds himself doing things his wakeful self would never do—like stowing away on a ship headed to Egypt.
Something is calling him back to Dormia. Could it be the Founding Tree he brought to Dormia three years ago? Or could it be the man he sees when he dreams—the man that looks just like his deceased father? Whatever it is, Alphonso is powerless to resist, so with only a backpack, some books, and a feeling of dread, Alphonso sets off once again.
