Description

*Based on a TRUE STORY* Faith and Makenzie weren’t just cousins, they were best friends. And no matter what life threw at them, no matter what they lost, they would always have each other . . . until Faith got sick, and time was like its own disease. Hear each girl’s struggle and survival from their own point of view as they tell their story of life, love, and letting go. Walk with the narrator as she moves through an unwanted end, to a new beginning. Keep moving through the emotional journey to find hope, find healing, and find out why Heaven Has No Regrets. "Grief has no rules. But there is one piece of advice that it whispers. If you listen, you can hear it through the rising smoke of death. It’s saying, 'Keep moving. Don’t look back. No regrets.'

Featured Reviews

I received this advanced galley from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely adore the dedication in the beginning of this book. It's beautifully written.

"This book is dedicated to anyone who's ever lost someone they love. The truth is---you'll hate to hear this---but it does get better. You have to work through it though; grief is like the chapters in a book, each page needs to be faced before it can be turned. But eventually, a new chapter of your life will begin. Remember that the past is always gone, but the future is your's to write.

This book is also dedicated to anyone who hasn't lost someone they love. The truth is---you'll hate to hear this---but one day you will. Hold fewer grudges and give more hugs. Make the most of every moment, because this very moment is all we have. Keep your heart open to live and love with no regrets."

Sadly, I couldn't read past the first 30 pages. It was too triggering (I have anxiety) and way too sad for me to deal with :/ It's beautifully written, but I just couldn't do it.

If you love sad books though, then you should read it!
