This book is the most adorable thing I've read in ages. I LOVE the little foxes throughout - really all of the drawings are just spectacular. On top of all that, the "message" is really sweet: use your imagination and you can go anywhere.

A colorful, beautifully illustrated book about one girl's imagination, and the power it has to transform ordinary things into great adventures. This book is sure to delight young readers with this exploration into the mind.

This Is Sadie is a beautiful little book about a little girl with a big imagination. The bright illustrations look almost like crayon over watercolors, giving them a childish, innocent feel. Sadie imagines herself doing all sorts of things, from sailing a ship to living with wolves to being the hero of a fairy tale, and the precocious little girl is unlimited by reality or cultural expectations. I love the simple story, and I love the author's *subtle, unstated* theme of non-gendered, unlimited dreams.

Sadie is a little girl with a big imagination. With books, friends, random supplies, she fills her days. From before her parents wake up until bedtime, she is never bored.
This is a well-illustrated, cute book that shows how magical a child's imagination really is.It is simple, which helps make the book even more whimsical. I hope that small children will appreciate this one as much as I do.
