Way of the Junglepreneur
by David Oludotun Fasanya
Pub Date 28 Feb 2015
DAVID O. FASANYA offers a fresh perspective
on navigating through tough business ecosystems and terrains as
dense as tropical jungles. This daring international businessperson’s counterintuitive viewpoint,
describes a way of looking at business ecosystems from the perspective of junglelike
terrains, each with its own obstacles and opportunities. Within each challenging terrain are
principal actors at the top of the food chain, who can thrive and survive in
this business ecosystem using a
new law of survival. This comprehensive book captures the unwritten rules of
business survival from the perspective of the person at the top of the food
chain—the Junglepreneur—who is distinct as a businessperson based on formation
process, capacity, and location.
It is also filled with actionable detail, a conscience for excellence, and innovative frameworks including the Junglepreneurship CORE and Junglepreneur MINEKIT, among others.
Born in Zambia and nurtured across Africa and Europe, the author, has spent more than two decades in unchartered “junglelike” business territories in various developing and developed countries. He survived the odds and successfully co-founded, managed, or invested in such areas as IT security, manufacturing servicing, advertising, and e-commerce. David has also been chief financial officer of a large African trading group and holds four advanced degrees, including a Master’s of Science (with Distinction) in International Business and Finance from Leicester Business School, UK. His unique view of business, interactions with successful businesspeople, and inspirations from his own jungle scars all inspired this book.
