Meg feels lost in the world. Like no one wants her. Trying to find her real parents in the world was something she wanted to know why she wasn't good enough for them. Living in the city at a job she liked but having a stalker was scary for her so she retreted to her home town with her brother to a short stay. Wishing she had someone want her enough to love her.

Linc is th e play boy of all play boys, not wanting commitment or stilling down. He lived from one bed to the next with nothing in between, so when he stops to help the women on the side of the road he never thought it would change his life, with bickering and pranks that lead to a one night of pure passion and the best thing that could have happened to him and Meg.

Can they over come their fears and learn to love ?

I have thoroughly enjoyed all the Montana Born Books that I’ve read in the last six months and this one in no exception! This is the third in the Bachelor Auction series and the background to all of them is that Molly’s son, Josh, has been injured in a serious accident resulting in him now being unable to walk. Her friends, led by Lily Taylor, want to help them so have arranged an event to help raise money to help modify their home to make it more accessible for Josh and to help them generally. The event is something special - they are going to auction off dates with some of the town’s most eligible bachelors! The men concerned aren’t quite sure how they’ve been talked, cajoled or manipulated into agreeing to this, but they have agreed to go on a date of their choosing with the highest bidder.

This story concerns Meg Canon, who has come back to Marietta to pack up her things from her childhood bedroom at what is now her brother's home - and to escape the attention of a stalker. Back in Chicago she's a television presenter and now has bodyguards to try to prevent the stalker actually reaching her. Home will be a much calmer scenario, or so she hopes! On the way home the snow causes her to skid and the new man from a neighbouring farm, Linc Brady, is happy to help but then propositions her!

Later, in town, Meg suggests to Lily that Linc might be a good bachelor for the auction and, without realising what he's consenting to, Linc agrees to take part. He's not happy at how Meg has set him up and there are fireworks between them. When the auction takes place, the fireworks become public as he outbids her for a date with him - he'd rather pay more money to the cause than go on a date with her, or that's how Meg reads the situation.

What follows is a lesson for all, as contraception strategies (other than abstinence) don't always work . . . . What will happen to the pair as nature gives them a reason to extend their one night stand? Will love find a way or will it be drowned by the thought of nappies and commitment? With lots of spicy and heart wrenching moments his is a great addition to the series. I still love how these books are written by different authors yet all relate to each other with some characters, settings and events in common. Congratulations on whoever coordinated the series on doing a spectacular job!

I was gifted this story for an honest review. The Bachelor's Baby is the story of two lonely people that need each other and don't even recognize it. Meg has always felt that she was not good enough or deserving of the love she secretly craves. Linc is scared to put his heart on the line because of his fear that his happiness will disappear. Dani Collins does a good job of making you feel the disillusionment and pain of these characters. AN EXCEPTIONAL STORY.

The Bachelor's Baby by Dani Collins, is the third book from Tule Publishing's Montana Born Bachelor Auction series and I enjoyed it very much. The first two books in this series are good as well. Each story is set in the small town of Marietta, Montana, where everyone knows your name, rank and serial number. This book is about successful Chicago broadcaster Meg Cantor, who returns home to help her brother and his new wife prepare for some changes in their lives. Meg loves her hometown, and each time she returns to Chicago, she leaves a little piece of her heart in Marietta.

Linc Brady is a gorgeous, self-made man that just purchased a true fixer-upper next door to Meg's brother's place. His participation in the bachelor auction is the result of some spectacular feminine conniving. Linc is a charitable man and he would have gladly donated to the cause in lieu of being on the auction block. Nonetheless, it is the auction that truly brings Meg and Linc together, and sets the course for their future.

I really liked this book and it is a great addition to the series. The Bachelor's Baby grabs you right from the beginning and never lets go. The entertaining plot is complete with emotion, angst and a hot couple that is easy to identify with. Ms. Collins is a skillful storyteller and her words kept me engaged from the very first chapter.

I am usually not a huge fan of the unexpected baby trope, but Dani Collins did everything right with this one.

Meg had a great deal of insecurity and vulnerability being an adopted child who had searched, and failed to find, her birth mother. Linc was the confirmed bachelor, determined to never love someone enough to feel the pain of losing them.

I absolutely loved how Dani Collins solved the sticky issue of why Meg and Linc were *really* together. She handled that situation delicately and to great effect. I enjoyed the secondary characters and revisiting the Auction that started it all. I do wish there had been more done with the mysterious "fan" but while it didn't add anything to the story, in my opinion, it didn't detract from it either. This was a super fast, very enjoyable read.

This was such a good book! I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet, simple story. It was not a story I hadn't heard before, but the emotions felt real and not cliché. I was moved to tears at one point. The situations the couple faced were very familiar and relatable to me. I enjoyed the small town feel and the characters were well written. A quick read, but well worth it, I look forward to reading more by the author and this town.

Linc and Meg had an interesting introduction – he pulled her truck out of the snow she had stranded herself in, and then he pulled an invitation for her to visit him at his place. Should she be flattered, amused, or insulted? A series of circumstances leads to Linc unknowingly agreeing to be a bachelor for auction in the upcoming fundraiser, thanks to Meg’s interference. And he was not happy about it and got even with her. From this difficult beginnings, can they form a friendship, if nothing else? Well, given the name of this book, clearly something happens, but since they live in different states, their one-night stand is where things are left. Later, Meg finds herself pregnant, and Linc, well, he doesn’t handle that news so well. That part was hard to read. Can a confirmed bachelor find a way to right a situation that seems so wrong; better yet, does he even want to? This was a very good book to read, even with that one heartbreaking part. It was another good book in the series and I very much recommend it.

Thank you to the author and publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was one of the Bachelor auction books. I wasnt quite sure that I liked Linc very well. He had some really strong tendencies to be jerk, however the times that he is very tender really touched me. This book was a bit different from the other Bachelor Books, but still a good read. I will continue to read the series to see how they all end up. What I really like about these books is that they don't continue where the last one left off. Each book has a view point from the beginning of the auction and doesn't mention the others relationships as they are all happening at the same time and no one knows whats happening with the other bachelors after they are bid on. Each book starts at the auction and mentions who bought who but nothing more which leads the reader into wanting to read the rest of the books. These books really keep your attention well.

It is the last of Bachelor series. this one had different start compare to other two. I was little confused in the beginning and i was very skeptical how the story will play out. Meg from Chicago and Her new neighbor Linc met before the auction and they had different kind of chemistry compare to other bachelor series. Meg and Linc didn't want any relationship but Meg found out she was pregnant and came back to Marietta. They had their ups and downs and drams. i did enjoy reading the end.

Although I figured this book would go the way it did. I have to say I really enjoyed it. Linc is new to town and hoping to put his roots down without the typical wife and children. When he rescues Meg from the ditch he should know his life is gonna change.

Some encounters, and bachelor auction later... Meg and Linc share a night together before she goes back home to Chicago. What neither expects is for Meg to end up pregnant. Of course everything goes as you would expect but it was still a good read.

Linc is new to Marietta, when he's headed into town he pulls over to help Meg, who grow up in Marietta and is home "escaping". Things don't go good that first meeting, but later on when they run into each other things get really interesting. The chemistry in the book between the characters comes on strong from the beginning. The story builds from there. I can't say it keeps you guessing through the whole book but its definitely sizzling through the whole book. Meg works hard to remember whats important which to her is to find where she comes from and whats important to her which is family I think in the end, she finds something far more interesting and more important that she realizes thats been under her nose and she didn't realize it, but in the process found a lot more. This love story is short and sweet but just like the other books in the series is worth the read.

Bachelor Auction Series Book 1: Bound to the Bachelor Book 2: Bachelor at her Bidding Book 3: The Bachelor's Baby Book 4: What a Bachelor Needs Book 5: In Bed with the Bachelor Book 6: One Night with her Bachelor

The Bachelor's Baby is sweet and sensual and sexy and just a lovely story. I loved Meg and Linc. Both are a bit bruised by past experience. Both are determined not to get involved with anyone for fear of being hurt. For Linc it's about one night stands to satisfy hat itch, while Meg is not really after any sort of relationship. When Meg ends up having a drink with Linc after the bachelors' auction the attraction they both felt for each other comes to the fore and she ends up going home with him. The consequences of their night together have both Meg and Linc reassessing their personal values and along the way they fall in love. This book is well written and despite the reader easily deducing the inevitable happy ending the journey is enjoyable. I liked the way the author dealt with issues that contributed to why the characters behaved as they did; in both cases contributing factors were outlined in just enough detail for the reader to gauge their importance without overtaking the story. All in all this book has been a pleasure to read.

"The bachelors Baby" is about Megan and Linc two people with an emotional handicaps.

Megs problem stems from being adopted and her feelings about being abandoned by her birth parents . She breaks off relationships quickly when the men she chooses do not give her the showing of love that she needs.

Linc's issues stem from the death of both of his parents first his father when he was a child then his mother as an adult. Linc felt he had to step up and provide for his mom, so he starts working in the oil field. This is a very hard sometimes very demanding job, always traveling and never at home to see his mom. His mom passes away leaving him alone.

We meet Meg and Linc when Meg is reminding herself she is a "lucky" person. However at this moment she's not feeling that way, you see she just fishtailed her brothers truck on an ice patch, and is now stuck on the side of the road. Linc pulls up and offers help. While Linc is helping Meg they start telling each about themselves. Linc finds out Meg is just visiting her brother and will be going back to Chicago. He invites Meg to come see the ranch, Meg not being a stupid woman, realizes what Linc is actually asking, a very short term relationship. Meg tells Linc no. However, Meg has a change of heart. You see, she got Linc tricked into participating in a Bachelor Auction, and she feels guilty. She visits Lincs ranch, and one thing leads to another and ... Meg returns home to Chicago. However, several weeks later meg realizes she is pregnant, she quit her job and returns home to her brothers ranch. On her way home she stops at the Circle H Ranch and tell Linc about the pregnancy. Linc reacts very badly and devastates Meg. I am NOT going to go any further into description of the book. You need, yes need to read it. I will say, if you like contemporary romance novels, you will really enjoy this book. You will see how both Linc and Meg work through their emotional problems and of course get together.

The characters in the book and all of the scenes are very well written, some reallly well written (fan fan, lol).

Thank you Tule Publishing for the ARC copy of this book. I really enjoyed the book, and I knew now have a new or author to go on my favorites list, Dani Collins.

Ms. Collins, really great job on the book. I will enjoy reading more of your books in the future.

Thank you for reading my review

Another wonderful addition to the series. After this book, I am seriously contemplating moving to Marietta, Montana now. I loved how everything tied together. Loved Linc and Meg together. I'm not usually crazy about the unexpected baby trope but Dani Collins made it work.

I'm definitely looking forward to more from this series or anything Marietta related for that matter. :)

I loved this story!! Loved these characters and their interaction feels very real. Great writing!!

The Bachelor Auction definitely has things heating up in Marietta! Meg Canon and Linc Brady originally met when he stops to help her on the side of the road. When she jokingly gets him involved in the auction he is not happy and then when she starts bidding on him he's had enough! He doesn't want to owe her anything. When tempers die down and they start really talking he finds her incredibly tempting. Since she is only in town for a short amount of time, he offers her one night she'll never forget. He definitely got that part right, the baby definitely wouldn't let her forget!

I definitely recommend this one!

Winning a bachelor in an auction might not be the best way to find your soulmate but Marietta native Meg Canon who was just visiting home did just that!

Oil baron Linc Brady was tired of being a roughneck. Having made his money in oil, he decided that a quiet life in Marietta, Montana was what he needed. That is until he realized that it was very hard to get a no-strings attached date in this small town. Enter Meg Canon who we met serendipitously! It was a perfect hook-up. But was it?

A short and sweet enjoyable read! The Bachelor's Baby is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.

Meg Canan is from Marietta, Wyoming, but she works in TV in Chicago. She was visiting Montana and her truck slid into a snow bank. A man, Lincoln Brady, stopped to help her get unstuck. He had grown up in Texas, but had just moved there, having bought the Circle H, which was the Hartstocht's old place. He had been a CEO with really big oil. Meg was visiting the Lazy C, her brother's ranch. Megan went to a grocery store and stopped to chat with Lily Taylor, who called out to Linc for help as he was at the store. They were having a bachelor auction to benefit Josh Drekker, who was a boy with a spinal cord injury being raised by his single mom. Their continued interactions start off sparks that just take them from there.
It was a good book. The interactions between the two main characters were very funny. I'd recommend it to anyone that likes romances.

Yes, it was a very predictable storyline, there were no surprises as it moved on, but still enjoyable, sweet, and quick read.
Both Linc and Meg are charismatic and charming, easy to like and relate to. The depth of the their characters was a delight. The insight and respect of Linc towards women, as a son of a single mom, was endearing. Meg has her insecurities, caused by the adoption, often feeling an outsider, taking rejection easily and hard.
The stalker in Meg's life made her even more vulnerable, it could have been played out more, but maybe that point in the storyline was just meant to make her want to go back to Montana even more. And as such, it served its purpose. Even though everything happens just as anticipated, it still is touching, heartwarming story, with some old friends from the previous books from Marietta, Montana, and compassionate, endearing love story that was a joy to read

I’m really enjoying these short love stories published by Tule Publishing and giving the readers an opportunity to read new writers and authors. Centered around Marietta, Montana, the stories are warm, fuzzy and brimming with love and family support.

The Bachelors Auction Series is a compilation of three sexy billionaires and their happily-ever-after, written by three different writers and all three are new reads for me.

The Bachelor’s Baby, book three of the series written by Dani Collins, brings Linc Brady to the town of Marietta, wanting to set roots in this tiny community. Tired of the oilrigs, the travels and the high life of the cities, he wants to settle down and live a quiet life of calm and peace.

And Meg Cannon, with her sassy and witty attitude, shatters that calm and peace. Helping raise funds to help her friend and her injured son, she manipulates Linc into being one of the bachelors to be auctioned off.

Sparks flare and the boundaries of lust are crossed for one sizzling night of passion. And that one night changes their lives forever.

The Bachelor’s Baby is a sweet and fun story as Linc and Meg try to get to know each other, with the inevitable consequence of that one night of passion. Linc has some past hang ups to overcome, and Meg has to let go of the insecurities of being adopted and wanting to be needy and loved all the time. Linc and Meg muddle through emotions and uncertainties as they fall in love trying to build a future.

Charming and endearing, Dani Collins keeps her readers entertained and captivated with “The Bachelor’s Baby.”

Linc bought a ranch in Marietta to escape his busy life from working on an oil rig and travelling from city to city.

Meg grew up in Marietta but went to work as a broadcaster in Chicago, mainly to trace her parents having been adopted at birth.

She is now in Marietta, visiting her brother and on her way to town, her truck skids. While she is working out how to get her truck back on the road, along comes Linc who helps her to get out of this rut. Her visit coincides with the batchelors' auction and Linc finds himself to be another one of Lily's unsuspecting "candidate", thanks to Meg. This starts a battle of the wits between Linc and Meg, which becomes even more interesting during the auction. They make their peace once the bids are complete, only to find out that there is this attraction between them but neither of them wants to commit to a relationship. After a night of passion, Meg returns to Chicago.

What transpires next, comes as a total shock to both of them and takes them on an emotional rollercoaster. The insecurities of their pasts haunt both of them and doubts and uncertainties set in.

I like both Meg and Linc and found their characters to be very believable, as are the other characters in this series.

Independent Meg Cannon doesn't do one night stands. She wants to belong, a place to call home and someone to come home to. Linc Brady is only looking for a quick roll in the hay. He's sworn of relationships and is focused on living a bachelor's life on his new farm. Then fate something throws something unexpected at them and everything changes. But how much are they willing to give up and make the changes required is what Dani Collins serves up in this fun and sexy novel.

I am loving this series!! Each book is a stand alone. This is bachelor #3. Linc a rich oil tycoon, new to Marietta. He really does not want to be part of this, he even starts bidding on himself against Meg. Meg is only in town for one more night, so Linc gives her a night that she will not forget.

I could not put this book down, loved the characters, Linc and Meg. Two head strong people that will butt heads! I highly recommend this book, along with the rest of the Bachelor books.

So far, The Bachelor’s Baby is my favorite novel from the Bachelor’s Auction series.

When Meg gets her brother’s truck stuck in a snow bank, Marietta’s newest resident and handsome millionaire, Linc Brady, offers to help. Although when he also offers a one-night stand, Meg finds herself wanting to say yes but rather than going back to his place, she gets Lily Taylor to rope him into the bachelor’s auction much to Linc’s chagrin.

“Can you tell me if these are self-screwing?” She held up the box in her hand. His scruffed beard seemed to bristle as his jar hardened.
“Oh, you’ve got a handful of screw yourself,” he assured her. She swallowed back a laugh, pretty sure that would get her into more trouble than she already stood in. Instead, she turned the box over in her hands. She hadn’t had this much fun in ages. “Maybe one nail would be simpler?”
“Why are you so pissed off?” he demanded.
“I’m not, I’m really not,” she insisted. “I think it’s funny.”
“You think tricking me into standing on a stage and have women bid on me like a stud bull is funny?”

Now the fight is on and the attraction is even stronger when Meg and Linc enter into a bidding war over himself. Finally giving in, the two share a night of passion that results in a pregnancy that rocks their worlds.

Sexually charged and entertaining, The Bachelor’s Baby had me glued from the first page.

While the surprise baby trope was a bit predictable, the characters had me reading until the wee hours of the morning.

Having been adopted as a baby, Meg has always wondered who her birth parents were and why they had given her up. Because of this, she struggles with finding herself, yet when she enters into a one-night stand with Linc, she’s finally is free to be her true herself.

I liked Meg, at times she could be a bit ‘poor me’ and whiney but at the same time she was likable and realistic.

Linc was an enjoyable yet realistically flawed hero. He’s content living his life having a string of one-night stands to avoid emotional connections. Issues in his past have kept him from establishing a firm and lasting relationship with a woman although when Meg’s in his bed, he starts to realize just how big his new house is for just one man. His character defiantly had more of a character arc and it was interesting watching as he came to grips with the baby situation as well as having an actual relationship.

“C’mere,” he invited, lifting his arm to make a space beside him.
“You cuddle?” She slid down on the bed, more for the cover of the blankets than anything, and let him pull her into his cooled skin.
“I prefer to think of it as after-play with potential, but sure.”

The chemistry between the characters was amazing. I enjoyed how they went from potential lovers to sparring partners to lovers then finally working on establishing a relationship.

The pacing ebbed and flowed and I thought that a few things felt a bit rushed here and there, but it was a short story so I see why the author did it.

Overall, I’m loving the Bachelor’s Auction series. Each time I pick up a Montana Born book, it’s like visiting old friends. I cannot wait to read the next one.

The Bachelor Auction series has been a fun reading experience. In book three we meet Linc Brady and Meg Canon. Linc is a broody millionaire and a confirmed bachelor - which he makes perfectly clear to Meg. Meg is a feisty spark-plug that Linc is really not sure what to do with. She tricks him into being in a fund raising bachelor auction, and he is NOT happy. She bids on him and wins. From that point on, just sit back and watch the sparks fly. There is chemistry between Linc and Meg that cannot be denied - no matter how hard they try.

Dani Collins has a unique writing style that results in hilarious banter between her characters. You can't help but be entertained. THE BACHELOR'S BABY is a short read that has all the feels. You are caught up in the story from beginning to end. Don't miss this one! I highly recommend!

Bachelor's Baby by Dani Collins is the third of the Bachelor Auction series. I love how this auction is built around helping a boy with severe life altering injuries. This bachelor’s story can be read in a couple of hours so it’s a quick read.. It is predictable while enjoyable. It has two characters that meet, are attracted and before you know it, are antagonistic towards each other. The rest of the story is the working out of that. However, if I were Meg I would want to know where the limousine with champagne and chocolate is. I don’t think she ever received that date.

Like most of the other bachelors, Linc felt pressured into the auction. Blaming Meg who he had just met felt wrong to me. Big business mover and shaker that he was, he could have just said no. So from the beginning, it seemed more to me that he was angry that she turned down his proposition. This fact added to how quickly he changed from confirmed bachelor to family man, made the story forced to me. I like him but did not see why Meg fell so hard for him.

Speaking of Meg, I admired how the author did not shy away from Meg’s abandonment issues. She seems to have come to a good understanding of herself, even when she is not in complete control of her feelings. I would have liked more about the stalker that caused such havoc in her life in Chicago. That aspect of the story tied up nicely but without much fanfare. One of my favorite parts of the storyline is all the catching up with her brother, Blake and his family, especially the teenagers. That is so very well done.

This is a little different from the previous Bachelor Auction series that I read. Meg Canon won the bachelor (or didn't she?) Linc Brady, after the two of them upped the ante for the bidding. It was quite a surprise noting that the bachelor himself didn't want to be dated, or more appropriately, didn't really want to be auctioned in the first place. Sparks flew between them however, so it was just a matter of time before the two fell for each other. No, they didn't readily fall in love, but in lust.

After that one lustful evening and unspoken agreement that both aren't really looking for relationship. Meg went back to Chicago to live her life as a news anchor. Things turned sour when she learned that her jailed stalker posted bail, and on the same day, she discovered that she was pregnant. With Linc. She decided to go back to Montana, tell Linc about their situation and raise her kid. Unfortunately, Linc didn't want anything to do with the baby. Oh Poor Meg.

I don't want to spoil the story, but there's still a lot that happened between the two of them. But I wasn't readily convinced about Linc and Meg's chemistry. It was kind of a bit rush to me, Linc and his changing moods, Meg and her emotional outbursts. I can understand Meg's condition, and I felt her pain and apprehensions about raising a kid without a father, when she herself didn't have the luxury of having a mother the moment she was born. Linc, well, he's unlike the other bachelors I read, he was a little too intimidating for my taste. Storywise, or should I say, romantic-scenes-wise, this story was steamy and utterly seductive. A great read before going to bed.

I absolutely adore this mini series :). I have read 2 books so far and been transported into the storyline in each so quickly that I've had to finish the books in 1 read always a good sign for me. I love the way that the publishers have linked up the authors with the bachelor auction running throughout but that they have also picked authors whose styles compliment and work well together. The books can be read as stand alone or as part of the mini series which is always a sign of good authors to me. Dani Collins is going to be a must read author for me. So this is the story of Meg and Linc. Meg is a TV personality who is returning home to clear out her old room so that her new niece can move in. Linc is new in town and Looking to hook up with someone just passing through so that they aren't judged by the neighbours. so needless to say they get off on the wrong foot especially when Meg cons Linc into taking part in the bachelor auction. im not going to say much lore because it would be spoilers but loved the author the writing style and the hero and heroine.

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review!

This is the first book that I have read in this series and my first by Dani Collins. I finished this book very fast because I had to know what was going to happen.

I loved Meg, she was funny and although she had a ruff past she did not walk around like her world was ending; she just kept trying to push through all of the craziness surrounding her. The funniest scene to me is when she explains to her brother who she is with after the auction. Thinking about it now makes me laugh while I am writing this review.

The chemistry between Linc and Meg is out of this world. Meg plays a small prank on Linc which ends up with him being in an bachelor auction, for a very good cause. Feeling bad that she tricked him she bids on him and is very surprised on how the auction ends. What they thought would be one night of passion actually ended up being an unbreakable connection.

Good for you Dani Collins on not making this book a cookie cutter romance! The reactions to the situations were very realistic. It had the right amount of heartache and the perfect amount of romance, all for 2.99 on amazon! Great job, Great book, Great price!

Meg isn’t home only to make room for her new niece, she’s also hiding from a stalker back in Chicago… she knows she needs to return, after all there really isn’t anything for her in Marietta now except memories. She didn’t begrudge her adoptive brother’s happiness – but it did make it more difficult for her to have someplace to come home to. Meg is a wreck really in more ways than just the stalker… but you’ll read about that for yourself.

Linc has finally put down roots. Sure, he has money now, money enough to live wherever or however he pleased. But Montana drew him and once the old ranch he bought is renovated, his new life will be up and running. The last thing he expected when he pulled over on the snowy side of the road to offer help to a person in a beat up old truck in the ditch was to be instantly attracted to the beauty behind the wheel – or to find himself mere days later on the auction block… he didn’t expect to be a daddy either, but you can read how that happened for yourself.

The novella’s title really gives so much away – :) – but it’s how these two got to that state that is the truly funny, touching, sexy and honest love story here.

I want to move to Marietta, Montana. The tight knit community, the way of life – and the burning hotness of their men…Mmm mmm mmm. I now look for any of the Marietta based novellas from Tule Publishing. While short, these stories pack a powerful emotional punch, and I have never, ever been disappointed at the outcome of a story.

I have to give The Bachelor’s Baby 4 stars. I would recommend this one for anyone who just want to escape into a world of good people, interesting couples and love that can last a lifetime. Go on now – visit them for yourself.

*I received an e-ARC of The Bachelor’s Baby from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

The Bachelor's Baby was an enjoyable read. I liked Linc and Meg and the author did a great job of creating the heat between these two people. I loved their first meeting when Linc asks her to come back to his place for a "no strings" hook-up. Tempting! I like how Ms. Collins lets the reader get into Meg's brain as she debates with herself about her attraction to this man and what she really wants to do with him. And later with Linc's background, it is clear he is a stand up guy and can easily be a family man by the way he supported and defended his own mother. An enjoyable story with very likable characters. The storyline with the stalker was kind of distracting from the real story about two people coming to realize who they are and what they want from life. I wish the story had been a bit longer with more interactions with Meg's brother and other family members.

Meg and Linc met when her truck was stuck in the snow. He propositioned her and she turned him down. She later tricked him into participating in the Bachelor auction to support a mother and a child who is need of financial help for her son’s medical bills. After the auction, their one night of passion ends up with a pregnancy. There is also the story of her trying to find her birth mother and Linc’s unwillingness to commit. They do realize how much they mean to each other and fall in love. I loved the story. I was disappointed she didn’t find her birth mother.

The Bachelor's Baby was a quick and sexy read! Meg and Linc had a crazy introduction to each other. Then Linc gets roped into a charity auction...with him being auctioned. Well Meg bids on him and she ends up in a bidding war with LINC himself!!! Lol!

They have a night together and then go their separate ways, but fate has a way of bringing them back together!!!

Love how the story develops from that point and I am always a sucker for a book trying to reform a confirmed bachelor!! I especially loved the chemistry and bantering between Linc and Meg. I would give The Bachelor's Baby 4 stars!!

The 3rd book in the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, it functions well as stand-alone but reading the other books will certainly enhance your enjoyment of this. This book focuses on Linc and Meg. Both are not in the market for a relationship but will not say no to a few nights of hot and steamy sex. Which they indulge in with abandon. And get a nine-month type consequence. A tried and true plot with likable and relatable characters, a good supporting cast. Not quite a shot-gun wedding but a good journey to a HEA. A little predictable with some seriousness thrown in in the form of a stalker which kind of fizzled as a tension-inducing subplot.

Quick, cute read.

Meg Canon has a successful career in Chicago but her hometown of Marietta, Montana has always been her safety net of sorts. She knows what it feels like to not be wanted, what with her being put up for adoption by her birth parents and her not being able to locate them even after a public appeal. As much as possible, she distances herself from anything serious with men, but that doesn't stop her from bidding on the one man who shares her need for non-committal relationships.

Lincoln Brady retired from working on oil rigs and wants to be able to enjoy having a place to call home. His a newcomer to the town of Marietta but that doesn't stop him from being roped in to taking part in the charity bachelor auction after the organizer is encouraged by Meg Canon to approach him. Their first two meetings may not have started on the wrong foot but now, Linc is hoping to spend a little more time with the woman who's set to head back to Chicago the very next day.

While Meg and Linc share a night that neither of them are able to forget, life returns to normal for both of them. After a brief exchange of emails, it's radio silence, and maybe that's for the best. But when what Meg thought was the flu turns out to be something more permanent, she does what she thinks is best and tells Linc that she's pregnant. Will a man who's never wanted to have children be able to get over his issues and realize that what started as a one-night stand could lead to forever?

The Bachelor's Baby by Dani Collins is book number three in Bachelor Auction, a series comprised of six books written by six different authors. Lead characters Meg and Linc start off somewhat adversarial after Linc invites Meg to his home a few minutes after they first meet. The fact that Meg suggests that Linc is perfect for the bachelor auction leads to even more tension between the two but I liked that it was only a momentary thing and wasn't the main conflict in the entire book.

I really enjoyed reading how Meg and Linc dealt with the pregnancy, working together to provide the best possible life for their unborn child. Meg's brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Blake Canon and Liz Flowers, also piqued my interest and their love story is told in Dani Collins' Blame the Mistletoe, a book that I've now added to my never ending TBR list. However, rest assured that The Bachelor's Baby can be read as a standalone and I'm giving it 4.5 stars out of five. ♥

**I received an ARC in exchange for my writing**

Meg "tricks" Linc into entering the bachelor auction. They're playing a game of cat and mouse, have different priorities in life and life's goals, but they can't deny the attraction. One night of passion, and they go back to separate lives. But, surprise, mother nature has other plans. Can they make co-parenting work? Taking it to the next level isn't something they planned, but as they spend more time together, they can't deny the chemistry, budding love, and the issues keeping them apart fall by the wayside one at a time. Sometimes, unplanned miracles are just what two people need in life and love.

The Bachelor's Baby was quite a sweet, funny and poignant take on the accidental pregnancy trope that had me rooting for two characters who was just trying to hook up but ended up well expecting the stork later on. The writing just flowed and the dialogue between Linc and Meg were witty and humorous which also highlighted the fact that they were both trying to keep their hearts well guarded. The plot was so simple and with no drama involve despite the storyline that as a reader you can help nodding your head going, yup yup this is definitely how it might go in real life. A great addition to the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series that contemporary romance readers would love.

I was given this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest thoughts and a review,

This is the third book in the Bachelor Auction series and you can also read it as a standalone.

Iv read lots of Dani Collins books in the past and always enjoyed her style of writing i new i would like this book from the very start.

Could you resist this o so tempting offer, Meg Canon is not. Meg is only home for a short time to clean out her childhood bedroom for her brother’s step-daughter and then she is so outta her childhood town and back to her normal life in Chicago,

but that all changes when she meets the sexy smoking hot, renegade millionaire while she gets stuck in the snow " of all places ", sparks start to fly right away and Meg is very tempted to maybe extend her stay just a little longer.

Linc Brady is new boy in this small town and is happy to help a kid in need, but this? o no, Technically he does not owe Meg a thing after she bids on him, after all she set him up for this Marietta bachelor auction in the first place,

Megs high class city attitude is his downfall even his weakness and makes her o so impossible to forget.Meg agrees to come home with him, he has to makes it clear he is a confirmed bachelor.

This will be a one night thing. But this one scorching night turns into nine months and maybe a lifetime thing ....... ?

This was a lovely romantic book well paced easy to follow love Dani style of writing and very much enjoyed this book,

I fell for linc right from the start he is charming and suave as well as downright sexy.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the relationship between Meg and Linc. When she found out she was pregnant, Lincoln was taken by surprise to say the least, but the reaction was so honest and dramatic, and the emotions it brought up for Meg just made me love it more, quick, fun read! Enjoying the series!

The Bachelor's Baby(Bachelor Auction book 3)
Meg Canon is a news reporter that is home visiting and trying to deal with a stalker. She has serious abandonment issues and has spent her adult life trying to find her biological parents. Lincoln Brady is the new guy in town. He is of course a confirmed bachelor.
Sparks fly between Meg and Linc. Meg pranks Linc into being in the auction and she feels bad so she bids on him. They end up in a bidding war. What they thought would be one night turns into surprise we're having a baby. They of course have some issues to get through before they can get their happy ending.
This is a sweet story that at times played with my heartstrings and had me feeling sad for both of them and cheering them on at the end.

With a likeable couple and a lovely, if not somewhat predictable storyline, The Bachelor's Baby is another good addition the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series. A series that can be read in any order, or as standalones.

Linc and Meg aren't my favourite couple in the series, but Linc could well be my favourite man. He and Meg are good together with understandable vulnerabilities, and whereas she openly struggles somewhat which manifests itself in a form of need, he has buried his. He's bossy, protective and yes, he has a slightly alpha façade, but underneath is a man with a huge heart.

"We only have tonight."

Going on the title, it isn't really going to take much of a brain workout to guess where the storyline heads, and whilst it doesn't hold any huge surprises, the story flows well and I read in one sitting. If a fairly short, easy read, sexy and heartwarming read is what you're after, then The Bachelor's Baby ticks those boxes.

3.5 stars.

Another winner from Dani Collins! I can't believe I hadn't read anything by her until last week lol

For those of you who read my reviews on a regular basis, you know I have a small weakness for category romances that most people find cheesy. I don't find them cheesy at all. Ok, at least not all of them. Anyway, it's safe to say I've read my share of them, but I've never managed to read one where there's a baby that results from a one night stand before. I don't know how I missed this lol So, I was super excited that this is what this was :) I loved how our hero, Linc, was in a panic when they thought she was loosing the baby For me, that totally showed his depth of feelings for Meg and made me smile :)

I'm enjoying the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series. The Bachelor's Baby is the third story in the series. Dani Collins' contribution is a fun, quick read. I loved the chemistry between Meg and Linc. I really enjoyed this one-night that develops into a relationship.

Meg Canon is back in Marietta to clean out her old room now that her brother's wife and step-daughter are moving into her childhood home. After accidentally ending up stuck in a ditch and getting rescued and propositioned by the very good looking new neighbor Linc Brady, she is grateful and irritated.

In a weird form of flirting she actually sets him up so that Lily ends up recruiting him for the bachelor auction. As the reader you are laughing at how Linc gets roped into this, especially when Linc flips.

At the auction Meg feels bad to have set Linc up, so she decides to bid on him; however, Linc decides to bid on himself and soon these two are letting the sparks fly in a very hilarious fashion.

What they decide will only be for one night turns into a (it's a four letter word in the title) and Linc has to decide if he is ready to commit.

The story was sweet and fun, the characters were enjoyable, especially their bickering, it was cute. It was endearing that despite being thrown into a relationship by circumstances, they get to know each other and they get a happy ending.

Rating 4 out of 5

Lovely romance, and well done. The Bachelor's Baby , is the third book in the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, each book written by different authors, but done so well the ongoing story flows effortlessly. This can be read as a stand alone ; but I am loving th series . Meg Canon, is home visiting her brother and his new family from Chicago and glad for the break from work ; but a quick trip into town leads to meeting her brothers new neighbor Linc Brady, millionaire from oil and now a ranch owner. Linc is kind enough to stop an help Meg out after she slides off the road into a snow pile; and a mutual attraction is fairly evident .

By the night of the Bachelors auction , Meg is feeling a little guilty since she kind of got him sucked into being auctioned off she actually buys him.
Her way of trying to make it up to him, she will not be around to take on the date Meg is going back to Chicago the next day. So a win - win , he s not forced to follow through with a date he was goaded into and the funds being raised still o to helping Molly's injured son.
Linc is a good guy , he was more than willing to help out with funds or construction help he just did not imagine being auctioned off as the means to help, however Meg's stepping up to purchase him does help to bury the little animosity between the two and re- kindle the instant attraction.
A drink between freinds and neighbors leads to a one night stand , and I am sure you can pretty much figure out from there. Oops , accidental pregnancy . Do not assume that is te end of the story , not by any means but. Can not gve t all away .

Loved this story, wonderfully done with a sweet HEA and a delightful epilogue !

This is quite an enjoyable read, with such charming hero and heroine, given a sort of common plot of a surprise baby. It has real emotional issues, which could've been dealt with more deeply, in other words the sexy-substance ratio is slightly off. It had a little too abrupt of an ending, but overall a sweet and sexy read.

After the auction Meg and Linc have a one night stand which is full of passion. The morning after Meg goes back to her life in Chicago until one day she discovers she is pregnant so she quits Chicago and comes home to Marietta to raise her baby with or without Linc. They read the signals towards each other wrong . Expecially after the one night stand How will Linc take the news that he is going to a father? What is going to happen between them

Love the idea of a series written by different authors. I have read the series and this is one of my favorites. I loved Linc and Meg's story. Dani Collins did a great job in writing believable reactions to an unplanned pregnancy. This was a quick, enjoyable, heartfelt read.

Another enjoyable and easy-to-like installment in the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, The Bachelor's Baby was a little bit predictable but left me with a big smile when all was said and done.

After getting Lincoln Brady, the newest resident of Marietta, Montana, roped into the Bachelor Auction to benefit a local woman and her son, Meg Canon feels a little guilty. After a chance meeting in the snow, a bidding war, and an attraction that has them flirting and fighting, Linc and Meg end up agreeing to one night....until two little pink lines change everything.

Aside from the no-brainier title -- yeah, there's going to be a baby -- The Bachelor's Baby pretty much telegraphed what was going to happen most of the way through. Nonethless, it was a quick and simple read, fun in a way that leaves you happy and hopeful, and a good, solid third book in this series.

I liked Linc, I liked Meg, I liked their story. Was I blown away by it? No. Will I read it again? Unlikely. But it's the kind of book that passes an afternoon with a joyful, "I'm reading" sort of feeling, and I can't fault the author for that. The HEA was never in doubt, but that's a good thing sometimes. I don't need to bleed to read, and I didn't here. I just want a book that going to leave me with a good feeling and I definitely did with this one. ~ Beth, 3.5 stars

This is the first book I have read by Dani Collins and I look forward to reading more. I was pulled into this book from the first page and left wanting more after the story ended. I love that it took place in Montana which is the state I live in.

Meg is funny, she had a rough past but she didn't let it take her humor away. A positive in life for sure..

The chemistry between Linc and Meg is intense, I love how she played a trick on him and he ends up in the auction. I look forward to reading more in this series and by this author
