Ms. Cooper has written such a beautiful story that gives you hope. It fills you with laughter, sadness, and many other emotions. You feel connected to the characters and really share in their successes and hurt in their failures.
I can't wait for the next part to come out. I've really grown attached to the characters and want to see what lies ahead for them. Again...beautiful story.Comment | Was this review helpful to you?YesNo20 of 20 people found the following review helpful5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding read! Even if you're not "into" romance! October 13, 2012By Amazon CustomerFormat:Kindle Edition|Verified PurchaseNashville - Part One - Ready to Reach

What a well written novella this is! You are immediately drawn into the characters who are 3 dimensional and very realistic. So many romance novels make the good guy all good and the heroine so sweet you want to throw up, but these characters are normal people who could be your next door neighbors (well, if you lived in Georgia or Alabama :) ). I read the book from cover to cover in one sitting it was that captivating.

It may not be important to everyone, but having been an English major in college, spelling, punctuation and grammar are all too important to me and I've read so many books lately that have atrocious spelling and even worse grammar! This one is perfect in those respects and I respect the author for making sure it was so before publishing it.

I'm not a particular fan of romance (although I had my day), but I so thoroughly enjoyed this book on so many levels that I just HAD to comment on it.

I devoured this book in just two days! I usually take my time to read a book but this one got me really hooked on.
I really liked the fact that music is a big part of the book, though in this first part of the series we get to see a little of the music industry. There's even some original lyrics in the book, which is pretty inspirational.

I liked the fact that we only have three main characters, this makes it easier to focus on the story and move along with it. The first pages of the book where a bit too innocent - or "lucky" - for me (Cece is really lucky, in the real world there are billions of worse things that are more likely to happen), but soon enough it all becomes pretty believable.

The characters are likeable and not quite predictable, and that's bonus points.

Easy and fun read, over all. Music lovers will enjoy it.

I can't wait to read the next book!

I loved this series. So I actually finished this book like 3 days ago but I was so hooked that I sure did go online and download the following 4 books. I am of course not finished with the series but I had to pull away because I have so many I need to finish as well. But I will be returning to finish the series. I am hearing a rumor about another book... hmmmm I love that it centers around Cece and Barefoot Outlooks whole journey and their love for each other. It was a great read.

Five stars amazing story!
Cece, Holden and Thomas’s Story…
These three different personalities find each other on the road to Nashville, and become friends.

There are so many possibilities for their futures; will she join them in the race to stardom? Or will she leave because being near Holden is too much for her.

Holden has a different problem all together, he is falling for her, and he has a girlfriend. Will he choose the girl who left him alone or the one who gets him?
They share a personal moment at the pound that had me crying and screaming “you are perfect for each other!!! Don’t you see????”

Over all a great read, enjoyable to say the least, you will devour it! Recommend!
