Description
Leadernomics is our linear path across the roller coaster of life.
From fighting contractor fraud to deleting billions of dollars, from instituting marginal acts of kindness to combating pervasive complacency, from tumbling through the sky to falling asleep at the wheel—Leadernomics rides the rails of life, steadied by a time-tested mentor named Economics. Through twists and turns of personal decisions, military command, fatherhood, and beyond, an intimate and insightful relationship unfolds. At every step, Econ guides with objective wisdom and clarity yet is full of compassion and empathy—and never has it let this author down.
In this reflective, thought-provoking memoir, Paik reveals that the best, most rewarding investments—personal and professional—are found when this mentor’s principles are at the helm. Leadernomics reminds us that economics and leadership are ultimately human endeavors, and both exist to guide and inspire each person toward their greatest potential. Wouldn’t it be nice to have this mentor with us 24/7 through every stage and season of life? Leadernomics stands at the ready. Buckle up. . . . Let’s go!
