This was an easy read, but cute. The main characters are both hiding secrets, but have to decide if they trust each other to share those secrets. I appreciated that the sex scene was tactfully and tastefully handled. We got to read about the lead in scene, but there weren't tacky details and descriptions. Overall, a cute little read.

“The Fairy Tale Bride” by Scarlet Wilson in the first book of the newly minted “Montana Born Brides” series which incidentally takes place again in the fictional town of Marietta.

The titular character is none other than Lisa Renee who has made cameo appearances in many of the books that have been centered in Marietta. Lisa is the owner and proprietor of Married in Marietta, the bridal and formal wear boutique in town.

With that pedigree, it’s only right that the first book in the Montana Born Brides series should be about her. And her Prince Charming? Our fairy tale bride might not have kissed a prince, but would a medical doctor suffice?

A transplant from Washington D.C., Dr. Adam Brady is still finding his way around Marietta. Still getting used to living in a small town, he still has a problem with how fast gossip can travel.

But, he put all his guard down and took a come what may attitude when he met Lisa Renee. There is only one problem though. His past is catching up with him and his budding romance with Lisa Renee might be the first casualty.

A sweet read that keeps you smiling from beginning to end, The Fairy Tale Bride is Rated T for Teens due to adult situations. The sex scenes in the book are implied and not graphic.

Trust issues abound in this cute novella. If you are familiar with other books in the make believe Marietta town, you may have read about the wedding gown store, Married in Marietta and its owner, Lisa Renee. This novella is the story of how Lisa finds love, even with the trust issues she has and those of the guy she meets, Dr. Adam Brady. Lisa was abandoned when her fiance ran off with Lisa's sister-no more trusting guys for her.
Adam came to the town to escape all the publicity and hunting women after his lotto win, even though it was rather small

3.5 Found in a Small Town Stars * * * 1/2

When normal, everyday people get hit by the lottery, it is not uncommon for long lost relatives to come out from the woodwork. Add the element of handsome Washington DC doctor, and Adam Brady couldn't catch a break.

He knew he was lucky because the winnings paid off his huge education debt and loans which so many doctors carry for decades after they start practicing. He counted his blessings; knew to appreciate the good.
What he didn't expect or prepare for was the deceit, game playing and out and out attitudes of people wanting to be around him for all the wrong reasons. He found it impossible to be at the hospital without reporters butting in, women throwing themselves at him and strangers asking for things because they felt they could.

He was fortunate to have the ability to pick up and leave DC, move to Marietta, Montana. Here he became the ER doctor; nothing more or nothing less. Here he was able to work in all departments assisting where it was needed. Here he didn't have to talk or share about anything. He could keep a low profile, make friends because they liked him and not his winnings... Here he could just be himself.

It was during an on call shift for a fellow Doctor he saw a young woman all in black reading to a little girl. She had a big Fairy Tale book and was saying the words softly so the little child in the big hospital bed would sink peacefully into slumber. The sound of her voice was lilting... and the manner very caring and personable. Adam was curious and was able to say hello after the child fell asleep.

The woman was a Lisa, Marietta native with all the roots and history of most who grew up there. She was from a family of loving parents and two younger sisters. She had to learn an early lesson....that life was fleeting and illness doesn't play favorites. Her younger sister Grace had leukemia so she and her sister Melody would be at the hospital all the time with the parents. They lost Grace but the understanding of how important it was to have people who cared around to read, nurture or just listen while there in the hospital stayed. It became something she continued to this day.

Lisa had her own secrets; no one new what pain and distrust she carried. Oh, they knew she had been engaged but the story was they broke up and he moved away. Only her very best friend knew of the truth; the betrayal of her sister cheating with her fiance and her discover with them in action...No, Marietta knew Lisa as the pretty gal who had the Bridal Salon. The place to go when you wanted to feel special and cared for...and that was all she wanted them to know.

This is a start of a new series, Montana Born Brides. This is light fare with sweet, flirtatious moments and charm. The setting is in Marietta...a place where small town rules are kept and the community can either be in your business or looking out for ya.

This time the circumstances or hub is this famous celebrity wedding. Hometown girl becomes huge Hollywood star. She brings reporters, other TV stars and creates a dynamic for more stories to come. The bridesmaids are horrors...the groom is an egotistical star with a wandering eye and hands....I can just think of all kinds of tales which can use these characters.

Tule Publishing has done this before with past themes and authors. The tying them to a central place like Marietta gives us the perfect base to build off of. If you are looking for a charming quick read...this is the way to go... for what romance reader doesn't believe in fairy tales....

A sweet, fluffy read that made me smile throughout with its cuteness.

Bridal shop owner Lisa Renee is devoted to bring smiles to the people that surround her. Be it through her dedication to find the perfect dresses for her clients or via her volunteer work at the town’s general hospital.

When ex-resident turned big Hollywood star Nancy, decides to get married in her home town she’s taking her bridesmaids straight to Lisa. But Lisa’s new misbehaving clients are threatening to break her patience and hopes to put her shop on the map.

Dr. Adam Brady has escaped big city life and embraced the quaint town of Marietta. The people are welcoming and local hospital gives him the flexibility he loves in the different areas of medicine. But since meeting “Luscious Lisa,” he can’t stop thinking about her.

There’s only one problem, he wants to avoid the media surrounding her shop and the town at all costs because he’s hiding the secret that made him wary of people and leave Washington. But Lisa has her own secrets. Will they be able to confide in one another?

I really like Lisa’s big, giving heart as much as Adam’s selflessness and devotion to helping people. So it was really nice to see how these two delightful characters met and fell in love.
“You did get a little close. Gotta be careful of that in a place like Marietta… People might talk.”
He moved a tiny bit closer… “What would they say?”
Her voice lowered. “Just that some newbie hot-shot doc was getting fresh with a local girl.”

Their story is fast and light, that can be read in a single sitting. With both flirty and touching moment. I enjoyed the charming feel of the small town and its friendly yet nosy residents.

“The Fairy Tale Bride” by Scarlet Wilson in the first book in the Montana Born Brides. Told from both points of view. Can be read as standalone. I recommend it to any romance lover looking for a cute and light read and I hope to find more books like these for when I’m in the mood to cozy up with a bright lighthearted read.

The Fairy Tale Bride by Scarlet Wilson is a very sweet romance that kept me engaged from beginning to end. It is just one of many books from Tule Publishing about the people who live, work and thrive in the small town of Marietta, Montana. Each book or novella is centered around one of the townsfolk and/or town happening. This story is about bridal store owner Lisa Renee and physician Adam Brady. Lisa is a lifelong resident of Marietta, while Andy is a newbie and has been experiencing the city's hometown goodness for only a few months.

I liked Lisa and Andy. Both have been jilted in the past and know that finding love is difficult, especially in a small town. Their relationship evolves very quickly, with some firting, a night of passion and a proposal. Along the way, they divulge some deep dark secrets and make peace with their pasts. Andy, and Lisa especially, have the unique ability to put the needs of others above their own.

I enjoyed this book. Lisa's emotional pain and kindheartedness caused me to shed a tear or two on more than one occasion. Mary, the gossipy yet kind nurse working the pediatric floor, is very down-to-earth and real. Unfortunately, some of the story's momentum and excitement began to fizzle out towards the end. If you like books about sweet relationships and some of the crazy things that go on in bridal salons, then this one is for you.

Another sweet story that takes us back to Marietta, this time it centers around the owner of the bridal store.

Both Lisa and Adam have been hurt in the past and have reasons to distrust but luckily their issues are not insurmountable. The author did a nice job "introducing" us to the characters beware they became a couple. Lisa was a fun heroine to read about sweet with just a little spice that all the guys noticed (even though she was not aware). I do wish she would have kicked the bridesmaids butt when they were so rotten in her store!

I read this one setting and look forward to reading more books in that take place in Marietta.

I will also post my review on Twitter and Facebook.

I really loved this story.

A doctor who is secretly a lotto winner and a bridal shop owner who reads fairy tales to the sick are a match made in heaven. I enjoyed how Dr. Adam tries so hard to not embrace all the aspects of living in a small town, particularly the idea of people trying to match him up, but ends up with a local girl whom the entire town loves. Lisa is someone I would love to be friends with because she is patient, caring and selfless. Qualities you expect to find in a doctor, you find in a hospital volunteer/bridal shop owner. I would probably reread this again.

Rating: 4.5/5

Lisa Renee owns the bridal salon in Marietta and is overjoyed when a local girl who is now a celebrity wants her bridesmaids to have dresses from her shop. That is, until she meets the bridesmaids! They’re celebrities in their own rights and boy do they know it. They are obnoxious, self-opinionated, spoilt, inconsiderate, surgically enhanced and rude - that’s putting it politely! Despite this she still hopes the wedding will help give positive publicity for her shop. Lisa was going to be a bride herself, until her fiancé ran off to marry her sister. Most people don’t know that, though the community do know why she regularly volunteers at the local hospital where her kind heart and willing help is much appreciated.

Dr Adam Brady is a recent addition to the staff at Marietta’s hospital and he’s really enjoying working there, especially the opportunities it gives him to do a range of jobs without having to specialise as he would in a larger establishment. He also appreciates the relative anonymity he has here regarding his past. With lots of colleagues off ill, Adam ends up on the children’s ward where he first encounters Lisa. As they spend more time together their mutual attraction means sparks fly. However, their secret past history is impacting on their relationship and unless they learn to trust each other and reveal their secrets they’ll be going nowhere together. Can they both overcome the past to find their HEA together?

Another great story from this author. Her characters are well founded and the key female in this one, Lisa, has appeared in other Montana born books. I love meeting characters again in this way! A lovely read, a great addition to the Montana books and the start to a new series, too! I particularly appreciate the lack of graphic descriptions of any sexual activity, instead it is implied and the reader is free to use their own imagination which some authors seem to forget readers have! A relatively quick, easy read and delightful to escape into. I’ll certainly be looking for further books by this author and in this series - both are highly recommended by me!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

When two people with secrets find each other things are bound to get off to a rocky start.

Adam Brady, aka The Millionaire Doctor, has come to Marietta for a fresh start away from people with ulterior motives. Lisa Renee is Marietta's Fairy Tale Bride. She's had a rough past and has built her business as a way to cope.

The romance in this one was clean, with a bit of sizzle. It was fun watching the banter between the two of them and seeing it turn into more. It was a touching story with just enough humor to keep it from being too sad. Wilson did a great job with all of the subject matter in this one.

The Fairy Tale Bride by Scarlet Wilson is a story about appreciating the good things that life brings and not dwelling on the bad. A lesson that Lisa learned at an early age. I thought this was a very good story. At times it broke my heart and then it also made me smile. Seeking an emotional story, this is the book. Received this book for an honest review.

Lisa loves helping make people's Fairy tales come true and that no exception to the three hollywood girls that come into her bridal shop. The other thing she loves most is helping the patients in the hospital. She just likes to keep hidden and things hidden. Adam new to Marietta is enjoying keeping his secret and is glad that he can live in a quiet place and no one truly know who he is. Except he meets Lisa and he thinks she knows his secret but he still want to get to know her. No matter what she is all he can think about. But can they both trust each other to really get beyond the secrets they are hiding. I loved being back in Marietta, and catching up with the fun people. The book keeps you going through and through. The chemistry is HOT and FUN. Just like the other Marietta book this one makes you want to go visit and meet all these fun people.

The Fairy Tale Bride

Lisa Renee is the owner of the Marietta’s bridal salon. She also volunteers at the hospital and she is dealing with her sister running off with her ex-fiance. Lisa takes control when a celebrity wedding rolls in and she has to deal with the bridemaids from hell. Even with that she makes sure that her client gets a fairy tale wedding.
Adam Bradley is a doctor at the hospital. He moved to Marietta to get away from those that only wanted him for his money. He is the "Millionaire Doctor" This is a sweet and charming story. It pulled me in from the start until the end when Lisa gets her fairy tale.

When a celebrity is coming back to town for her day, Lisa Renee takes over to make sure that the bride gets what she wants when it comes to dresses for the event. After all isn't that why she has Marietta's bridal store? Dr. Adam Brady is the newest doctor in town, who has made a great impression on everyone, but there is a sense of mystery around him. No one has been able to figure it out yet. When he comes across Lisa who reads to the children in the hospital all the time, they are entranced by each other. There is definitely magic between them and a good relationship could happen as long as they are both willing to share everything with each other, right down to the secrets each is holding.

This is a good quick read for anyone who has the time.

What a cute read. I loved the interaction between Lisa and Adam. It was cute how they felt about each other, though each were holding something back. I thought the way their secrets came out were a bit harsh, but had to be done, and I'm glad that they did come out and they were able to get past them. Would have loved to see more of them together before the end, maybe an epilogue, but all in all a cute read.

The Fairy Tale Bride is the first in the Montana Born Brides series, a continuation of the Marietta Montana and Copper Mountain Cowboy series, most recently the Bachelor Auction series. This is a short sweet contemporary romance that I liked a lot.

The heroine Lisa is the owner of Marietta's bridal salon, who volunteers at the local hospital. She keeps running into the new hot doctor, Adam, first at the hospital, then at the local chocolate shop.

I loved that Lisa brought little girls from the hospital to play dress up. I loved that Adam could have been known as the millionaire doctor but didn't want it enough that he moved half way across the country to get away from it. And I loved that they both love and appreciate their small town for what it is, and for what it isn't.

I cannot wait to read the next in this series. I got a complementary copy from NetGalley of this sweet romance.

Adam is a doctor that has just moved to town to get away from people he could not trust. They hit it off, but they both are keeping things from each other. Will they be truthful or will the truth stay hidden and keep their relationship from growing. I really liked the quthor style of writing and I loved all the characters. Excellent! It's wedding season in Marietta!! Lisa Renee owns the bridal shop in town and has seen her share of crazy but the upcoming celebrity wedding is more than even she can take. To escape she spends her down time volunteering at the hospital's pediatric ward where she meets Dr. Adam Brady. He seems honest and hardworking but also a bit mysterious. Could he possibly give her the fairy tale ending she's looking for??

Very entertaining story and one I definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the chemistry between these two and they are drawn together from the start. They each have some intriguing secrets in their past and they need to decide if they are willing/able to trust the other. They have their ups and downs but not a bunch of miscommunication and angst. If you’re looking for a sweet, light fun read this one might be it for you. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

The Fairy Tale Bride is the first story in the multi-authored Montana Born Brides series from Tule Publishing and features two lead characters who fall for one another but are held back by their respective secrets. Lisa Renee and Adam Brody know that living in a small town like Marietta means having their business passed on from person to person, but Lisa's secrets are limited to her family and best friend while Adam's secret is necessary since anonymity is his main goal.

Trust, or the lack thereof, is one of the biggest issues that the lead characters in the story have to face, what with Lisa's discovery of her ex-fiancé's affair with her younger sister and then Adam's own experience with a woman wanting to be with him simply because of his windfall. I understood where he was coming from when he wondered about Lisa's reaction to having celebrities around her shop and I didn't like Lisa in the book's first half but she did grow on me as the story went on.

This was a sweet contemporary romance that stresses the importance of forgiveness and letting go of past hurts that are simply weighing you down, especially when the people who have caused that hurt have gone on with their lives, as well as learning to trust those who have earned it. Both Lisa and Adam were somewhat stuck, and they were allowing events in the past to prevent them from moving forward. The Fairy Tale Bride was a pretty good start to the series. Four stars. ♥

I didn't know what to expect with a book title like that especially since the author is also new to me but when I learned that Lisa earned her nick name from owning the only bridal shop in town and reading fairy tales as a volunteer at the pediatric ward in the hospital I was charmed. This is a sweet contemporary second chance romance for two people who want to leave their past behind and forge a new future possibly together. It's the luscious Lisa version of the fairy tale bride who keeps Dr. Adam Brady coming back for more.

Lisa was hurt when her fiancé ran off with her sister and now seems to be happily settled and starting a family. Adam has his own hurt when he found out that his partner was only with him because he won a lottery. In many ways they're both starting over with each other but can they share their secrets with each other to create the trust necessary to build a relationship?

I loved the description of the bridesmaids from hell who've gone through seventeen different bridal shops and have now descended on Lisa's shop to find dresses for the wedding of the famous local girl made Hollywood starlet. The aftermath of each interlude reminds me of a bunch of greedy locusts descending in a grove and leaving behind sheer disaster. Poor Lisa who put up with all this so she can leverage the publicity and fame of dressing Hollywood starlets to grow her business only to find that they finally picked dresses that she had bought in a moment of sheer anger and would never wish to be associated with for posterity.

Adam is great hero material. He's a dedicated doctor and has no qualms of getting under an about to burst into flame car to rescue a small child. He has secrets but before he can come clean and bare his heart to Lisa she learns of them anyway. Can she forgive and forget?

All in all its a great feel good story with no huge highs or lows or conflicts that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The Fairy Tale Bride is part of the Montana Born Bride and I really enjoyed reading it.

Lisa Renee is the owner of Marietta’s bridal salon and I was hay to learn that she got her own story after seeing her in other books set in Marietta.

Adam is a Dr. and he moved to Marietta from Washington and he's enjoying his new job at the hospital and his anonymity.

When Adam first meet Lisa at the hospital while she is reading a fairy tale story to a sick little girl he's attracted to her and he really wants to get to know her better but at the same time he's afraid to open up about his past and tell her about his secrets.

Sparks fly between Lisa and Adam and the more time they spend together the harder it is for them to keep their relationship casual.

I really enjoyed reading about Lisa, I thought she was a very inserting heroine - I loved how devoted she was to volunteering in the hospital and how she enjoyed helping brides and bridesmaid find the perfect dress for their wedding.

Her job was very important to her and I loved the fact she is an independent woman that is not looking for a man to help her business or make her happy.

I loved Adam- he was sweet and sexy and I loved he we tried to help Lisa chance her old habits like always wearing black clothes.

I enjoyed reading The Fairy Tale Bride and I thought Lisa and Adam were a great couple that really deserved happiness.

I love going back to Marietta, Montana and this time we are going back for a wedding! This is the first in the Montana Born Brides series. Lisa Renee is the owner of Marietta’s bridal salon when the chance of a lifetime to put her little boutique on the map, rolls into town. A celebrity wedding! Lisa soon discovers that things are not going to be easy. She has her hands full with badly behaving bridesmaids ruining her plans for this fairy tale wedding. To escape the craziness that has become her life, Lisa seeks solace at the local hospital, in the pediatric ward where she volunteers. Dr. Adam Brady is enjoying the anonymity of working in a small town hospital. It seems the handsome doctor is harboring secrets, and as attractive as the beautiful volunteer business owner is, he doesn’t need the media blitz and publicity that seems to be following her. Sparks are definitely flying between these two as they spend more time together. It also seems that Lisa may have some secrets of her own…

The thing I love about the Marietta series is that they are written by different authors, they are fresh, light, and short sweet reads. THE FAIRY TALE BRIDE is no exception. I read it in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it. Scarlet Wilson kept the story moving and interesting from start to finish. The characters were well developed for such a short read, which demonstrates her Ninja author skills. Ms. Wilson pulls out all the stops in this highly enjoyable, insightful, and heart-warming “Fairy Tale”. It is a sweet story and a fun, short trip back to Marietta. I really enjoyed it, and highly recommend!

Lisa owns a bridal shop in Marietta and takes great pride in turning the brides' dreams into fairy tales. She, herself hasn't been so lucky since the betrayal from two people she loved the most. Besides running her shop, she works as a volunteer in the local hospital where she spends most of the time on the children's ward or wherever else, she is needed. She does this because she has first hand experience of what it feels like to have a loved one confined to a hospital.

Adam is a new doctor at the hospital in Marietta. He moved to Marietta to have a fresh start, mainly for those around him to like for who he is and not for what he has. The first time he spots Lisa is when she is reading to a young patient and she looks so much as ease with what she is doing, he is intrigued as to the reason why she spends time being a volunteer. The other thing is that something about Lisa calls to him and once they are introduced, it becomes apparent that the attraction is mutual.

The more time they spend together, the stronger the chemistry but as they both have trust issues, they hold on to their secrets. The problem is, with Lisa being involved in a celebrity wedding and the reporters crawling all over the place, one of them might well recognise Adam and give away his secrets. As for Lisa, will she trust Adam enough to let him in and tell him her secrets?

I like the dedication Lisa has towards the patients in the hospital, her determination to make her business a success and her customer care. Adam too is very focused on his duties as a doctor even at his own peril. The story as a whole brings a myriad of emotions and would appeal to those who like an easy to read good romance.

A return to Marietta these have been my favourite stories since the first bachelor auction book I read and I have been chomping at the bit to read more about the Marietta residents and this book dosen't disappoint. This is the story of Lisa the owner of the busiest store in Marietta the Bridal Store and the new Dr in town.

Despite being dumped at the alter thanks to her cheating fiance and her sister the Bridal Store owner still believes that every bride deserves her fantasy wedding and she will still do everything in her power to make it happen. Lisa has the chance to put Married in Marietta on the map with a famous wedding She prides herself on buying the best and having the best choices for bride's to pick from If only she hadn't bought those dresses she'll never sell them to a bride they were bought during a weak moment when she found out her sister and her ex fiance got married now she's stuck with them.

Dr Adam Brady moved to Marietta to get away the media and his millionaire doctor rep where everywhere he turned someone expected a hand out yes he won the lottery but by the time med school was paid off it left him comfortable rather than a millionaire. Marietta is his chance to start anew until the media hits towns for the wedding of the year it's too bad he can't avoid them as he's falling for the Bridal shop owner.

I got so emotional when reading about lisas volunteering at the hospital and the young patients there. The author has true skill in bringing the reader into the story forme that's the true sign of a great author 5stars.

Secrets are never a good thing. Even when kept for the best of reasons and intentions, secrets will always be revealed – usually at the worst possible moment.

Dr. Adam Brady has that kind of secret. Oh, it’s not a terrible one, but it is his to keep. Or so he tells himself. Luck plays a big part in Adam’s life. It was pure luck that won the lottery – and pure bad luck that followed his every move since then. For such an amazing windfall, that win had certainly cost him perhaps even more. Known as the millionaire doctor in the DC area, Adam has finally had enough of the spotlight. Marietta, Montana should be far enough away from his former life to make keeping his secret not that difficult – but you know the line about best laid plans…

Superstar Nancy Parsons is getting married, big new in itself, but she wants the wedding to take place in her hometown of Marietta, Montana.

Bridal salon owner, Lisa Renee, thinks she has seen it all when it comes to brides turning from sweet to bridezilla in a heartbeat. Truth is, she ain’t seen nothing yet. Her dream of putting her bridal salon in the spotlight of Nancy’s wedding soon turns into a nightmare. The celebrity bridesmaids from hell soon have her leaving her shop for the peace of her volunteer work.

Adam first encounters Lisa as she is softly reading a fairy tale to a young patient. In a small town like Marietta, Adam and Lisa are bound to run into each other. But what about those pesky secrets? Will they get in the way of happy ever after?

I enjoyed The Fairy Tale Bride very much. Ms. Wilson is an author I can always count on to deliver an entertaining, fun and involved love story. Lisa and Adam’s story was fun to read and a great introduction to this new series. Highly recommend this novel for anyone who enjoys their love stories with a bit of a twist.

It is always a fun time when I return to Marietta, Montana through any of the novels based in Montana available through Tule Publishing. I know that a good, lively, fun and enjoyable time is waiting for me when I crack open the Kindle and begin reading.

*I received an e-ARC of The Fairy Tale Bride from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

It always fascinates me to read about the lives of wonderful people of Marietta. I feel like it's my second home. Reading about them always makes me smile. After the Montana Bachelor Auction Series which I have read and completed last March, I'm excited to start my May with a new series, this time, with the Montana Brides to be.

And so we start with the cute story of Lisa Renee, resident Marietta bridal shop owner and Adam Brady, a doctor from another state who moved to Montana for reasons only known to him.

Lisa & Adam - two people who found each other in the hospital: Lisa was a volunteer who help children and adults by reading them bedtime stories, most of which are fairy tales. Adam, on the other hand, was a doctor who cared a lot for his patients. Lisa had another day job -managing her bridal shop for every girl who believes in fairy tale. A bigshot Hollywood wedding was about to take place in Marietta and Lisa's at her wit's end because of some demanding and brat bridesmaids who couldn't decide on what dress to wear. She found her piece of mind in the hospital and she had reasons why she continuously went there. And that intrigued Adam.

Dr. Adam Brady was mystery, too. And it all has to do with a lottery! Will the fairy tale bride finally find her happily ever after? Your guess is as good as mine.

A great start of a possible six-book series. As usual, this is a romantic love story that every contemporary reader would love. This is my first Scarlet Wilson book and this won't definitely be the last.

This was a very easy read. It didn't feel like there was a whole lot of conflict with the two characters getting together which felt very true to life. Sometimes it just takes finding the right person at the right moment. Both Lisa Renee and Dr. Adam Brady are attractive likable characters. Even the pace of their romance and relationship didn't feel unreal. I loved this story and would love to see these two show up in other Marietta stories.

Sweet romance in the town of Marietta, Montana.
It is always lovely to visit the town, and 'meet' with the old friends from there. This story is the first one in the wedding series, and it certainly puts the reader in the mood for romance and weddings.
There was extra spice to the story with the celebrity wedding preparations (what happen to the couple, and the wedding?? I really wanted to know...) and the problems with Lisa's sister, that didn't come into a complete conclusion as well. I loved the volunteering Lisa was doing at the hospital. Also the drama and danger that came with Adam's complete surrender to his job, and dedication to help all, no matter the situation, gave more depth to the story, even though it brought a few wrinkles in the fragile and new relationship. The romance between Adam and Lisa is not easy. The attraction and connection is there, but like everyone else, they have history, and past, that they rather keep to themselves. But despite the many events that put waves on the romance between the doctor and wedding gown shop owner, love wins. Clearly through the story comes the message how important honesty, openness, and trust is in any relationship.
A lovely novella, perfect for a rainy spring evening

What a delightful story The Fairytale Bride has been! I've loved it all the way through. Lisa is a sweet, tender-hearted woman who's been dealt a few blows along the way, firstly with the death of one of her sisters, and then with the discovery of her other sister in bed with her fiancé. She lives a happy ending though and as owner of Married In Marietta, goes out of her way to make sure her bride leave the store thrilled with their wedding dresses. When she's not helping to make other people's weddings memorable, she's a volunteer at the Marietta Hospital. Inside, she's protective of her heart, furious with her former fiancé for betraying her, and cautious about starting a new relationship.
Adam is the new doctor at Marietta General, a job he loves because of the variety of work he is able to undertake. He's a lottery winner and received a lot of unwelcome attention in Washington DC where he used to live, and loves the anonymity that comes with living in Marietta. He really wants people to like him for himself and not for his money so is pretty secretive about his wealth.
Together Adam and Lisa make a lovely couple and their story was really enjoyable to read. The story is beautifully developed and I loved reading it. Recommended!

OMG, I am back in Marietta!!
Is there anyone out there that doesn't just LOVE this town?! Not possible!
This is a first in a multi-author series called Montana Born Bride and it is spectacular. It was sweet and funny and I'm not gonna lie, but a bit of a tear-jerk as well.
Lisa Renee (our heroine) comes into this story with a lot of pain and a sad background. You won't be able to not cry. Adam (our hero) comes into the story with baggage, but not the same kind. But baggage just the same.
They meet, they fall in love and voila ... HEA :)
The story is short, sweet and very much the fairy tale ... exactly what every romance reader SHOULD love :)

Lisa owns a bridal salon and even though her own engagement didn't work out, she still believes in happily ever afters. Adam is new doctor at Marietta General. They meet while Lisa is volunteering at the hospital. She has the nickname 'The Fairytale Bride.' They share an immediate connection but each of them has a secret from the past standing in the way of their developing relationship. This Was the first book that I have read by this author, but I will definitely come back for more. I loved the small town setting and it was fun to see how Adam and Lisa maneuvered their way through. I enjoyed the celebrity spin on the bridesmaids dresses that Lisa is working on and hope Nancy gets her own story soon.

A short romantic story about two individuals who have been let down in life and have trust issues. Lisa Renee is the owner of a bridal shop where she makes a bride's dream come true. Dr. Adam Brady is hiding out in Marietta, leaving behind a successful career in Washington for a quiet, under the radar life. Both have secrets that they aren't ready to share but when they meet, they realize that fate is giving them a second chance at love.

The Fairy Tale Bride by Scarlet Wilson was the first book in the Montana Born Brides series, and it was definitely a cute start. Lisa owns her own bridal shop and volunteers at the local hospital. It's there that she meets Dr. Adam Brody. Their relationship develops in a way that was so real. Adam messes up a few times and is suspicious of a few things Lisa says. Lisa opens up about painful things, but is called out by Adam when she says something that makes it seem like she's not over her ex. I really enjoyed how this story showed the complexity of dating someone new. Lisa and Adam made a cute couple and I was happy when they got their HEA. There was nothing that stood out in this story as spectacular, but it would make for a fun beach read. I give it 4 stars and look forward to more in this series.

It is the wedding season in Marrieta, so Lisa owner of the wedding store will be busy. In fact you will be laughing along, with the celebrity wedding that is happening. In Lisa's spare time she volunteers at the local hospital reading fairy tales to patients, shouldn't everyone believe in fairy tales. New doctor in town, Adam has arrived with his own secrets but enjoying the small town of Marietta. Sparks begin to fly between Lisa and Adam, but will their secrets get the best of them.
A sweet small town romance, that will want you to visit Marietta this summer. I highly recommend this book. I received this book from Net galley for an honest review.

3 - "Don't jump to conclusions." Stars.

The Fairy Tale Bride is the first book I have read by this author, it is also the first book in a brand series of novellas set in Marietta, Montana. I have spent quite a bit of time in this town and with it’s inhabitants whilst reading other series that Tule Publishing have released in the past, and it is always good to return for a catch up!

Lisa and Adam’s relationship is one built on secrets, the towns Wedding officiando and owner of Married in Marietta getting together with the hospitals newest and most eligible Doctor causes a few tongues to wag. Both of them are keeping things from their past under wraps, and you know as the story progresses it is going to be a bit of an issue as they become closer as a couple.

”I don’t have much luck with sisters.”

I liked this first novella, I didn’t love it. Adam was sweet but a little weak willed and Lisa, although I understood her issues, I still found her a little judgmental. But it is a quick, easy, predictably cute read, and well worth a couple of hours visiting Marietta and it’s residents again.

”Every girl should get her fairy tale.”

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley/Tule Publishing for an honest review. This is a story of two people who have issues with trust. Adam and Lisa have different reasons from their past that causes them to have trouble with trust. Their love story was a sweet romance. This story had a variety of characters which were a really nice addition to the story. The way the author describes the little town of Marietta makes you want to live there or go visit the town. At times in the book you will laugh and other cry. A perfect book to escape reality and enjoy a fairy tale. This was an excellent quick read. Loved the book!

The Fairy Tale Bride is a nice start to Tule Publishing’s Montana Born Brides Series and Scarlet Wilson has brought her reader a short sweet romance set in the wonderful town that is Marietta.

“In place as small as Marietta they’d probably have him engaged and married before he even left the hospital tomorrow morning.”

Bridal-shop owner, Lisa and new-in-town doctor, Adam were likeable characters but I must admit everything between them was pushed along at quite quickly and the romance seemed to play second fiddle a little to the continuity storyline of Marietta’s upcoming celebrity wedding. But the romance was sweet (this one has closed-door intimacy), it brought some emotion and lovely touching moments between our couple.

"... Every girl should get her fairy tale. "

And with five more prospective brides needing to find themselves a groom, it’s onto book 2 for me.

This review pertains to the Fairy Tale Bride, book 2 in the Montana Born Brides Series bu Scarlet Wilson. Thanks to Tule Publishing for the chance to read and review.

Lisa Renee loves fairy tales and weddings–even though her own fairy tale romance ended in disaster. She indulges her love of weddings by owning her own bridal salon, and uses her love of fairytales to brighten up the days of patients at the local hospital where she volunteers. When a celebrity wedding brings a media circus and cantankerous bridesmaids to town, Lisa finds solace in her volunteer work, and may just find love with the new doctor in town…

Adam Brady loves the small town life he’s found in Marietta, Montana. He fled the big city seeking anonymnity and a hospital where he didn’t have to specialize. He’s found a circle of friends, a job he loves, and no one knows about his past. When hospital volunteer Lisa breezes into his path, it seems as if his life is finally falling into place. But the media swarming the town threaten the life he’s come to enjoy, and Lisa Renee and her shop are right at the center of it. As there attraction grows and their secrets come to light, can they let go of the past and grab on to the love they could have with each other?

I thought this was a really fun read. I just wish it was a little longer. I thought Ms. Wilson did a great job balancing the budding romance, the difficult bridal party, and both the hero and heroine’s pasts to strike the right chord with the reader, but a few parts felt rushed. It was like an amusement park rollercoaster: fun and over way to quickly.

Also like a rollercoaster, I didn’t appreciate all the elements that Ms. Wilson wove together until I reflected on it later. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, romantic beach read that showcases two people trying to outrun their past when what they really need is the right partner to help them face it head on.

B+/4* (of 5) for a fun and funny read with surprisingly sweet and sexy moments and a swoon worthy HEA

I really enjoyed this read. Some elements reminded me of things I've loved in a some of the romance movies I watched over the years, which makes the book both a fun new read and a familiar comfort. The story was sweet, with a little bit of angst, but short enough that it didn't get bogged down in a lot of unnecessary complications or side stories. It was the perfect length for the story being told, and in an easy to read, easy to love kind of way.

Scarlet Wilson's The Fairy Tale Bride is a wonderful way to kick off this year's Montana Born Brides series. I loved how Lisa and Adam's story sets up the series. The town of Marietta is the location of hometown girl turned Hollywood star, Nancy Parson's wedding. Lisa is the owner of the bridal shop in Marietta and she's landed the bride for a client. I loved Lisa! She's smart, beautiful and kind. There's a chemistry not to be denied when Lisa and Adam meet.

I'm looking forward to to the rest of the Brides series, can't wait to see how this wedding season plays out.

A phenomenal happily ever after story. This is the story of the Fairytale Bride Lisa Renée and her Prince Charming, Dr. Adam Brady Lisa's sister died at age 8 of leukemia. She decided she was going to volunteer the same way people volunteered at the hospital for her and her family during her sister's illness. She feels for the children at the hospital especially Alice who is suffering from the same thing as her sister leukemia.

Lisa's ex fiancé cheated on her with her sister. Needless to say that sort of shadowed her experience with men. She still believes in fairytales however not so much for herself. Adam is millionaire doctor; his secret was hitting the lottery and not telling anyone. Adam is afraid of letting people know about the lottery because he wants people to treat him for who he is not his winnings.

This is a wonderful story of two people that fall in love I love the way the author draws you into this The story the way she describes the characters it makes you really care about what happens to them

This is a really great, phenomenal story. Thank you Scarlet Wilson for writing it, Bravo!
Thank you Tule Publishing, for publishing the story, and thank you Net Galley for giving me access to the book I have found another author to follow.

Thank you for reading this review I hope you enjoy this book half as much as I have.

Place(s) Traveled To: Marietta, Montana

First Line(s): Lisa Renee pushed her last dress into place.

The Fairy Tale Bride is the start of a series of connecting stories that surround the upcoming wedding of a local girl turned celebrity. This book, written by Scarlett Wilson, tells the story of Lisa Renee and the new doctor in town Adam Brady. Lisa runs the towns wedding shop and is recovering from the heartache of being a jilted bride and Adam has a secret of his own. The Fairy Tale Bride is a very short story and as such everything felt very rushed. The couple went on just a few dates and then they are declaring their undying love for each other. It just felt like so much had been skipped and information missing from the story. It was hard to connect with the characters because there was very little development of them. I’ve read other novelettes that felt like full stories and so I know that its possible and this one just never reached its mark.

Lisa and Adam were also two frustrating characters who were deliberately obtuse at times. There were also things that happened that just didn’t real for a small town. Not to mention all the cheezy, eye-roll inducing moments. The Fairy Tale Bride is a book that held promise but it just never lived up to it. The writing was ok but nothing spectacular and the only thing it really had going for it was that it was a quick read.

The Fairy Tale Bride starts the Brides series off with a sweet and touching story about secrets, trust, and weddings. Lisa owns the bridal boutique in Marietta. When a celebrity wedding comes to town, she is tapped to provide all the accoutrements. Unfortunately, it's not all hearts and roses with the bridal party and Lisa's patience and shop are stretched to the limit. She finds solace at the hospital, where she meets the new doctor. Adam is happily hiding out; he's got a secret. Lisa's sweet heartbreak and Adam's trust issues collide in the wedding frenzy, reporters digging up interesting tidbits as they scurry around. Lisa and Adam are on a slow burn toward happiness when things overheat and then explode.

The simple Marietta hominess, family atmosphere pervades the book. Even in the midst of the frenzy, everyone feels to relaxed and down home. It's one of the strengths of all the books: this feeling of coming back to people and places you know. Both Lisa and Adam have solid reasons for their fears and issues. They both feel real and are three dimensional, growing into themselves and their relationship.

It's an enjoyable read.

THE FAIRY TALE BRIDE is a novella and the first in the Montana born Bride series of connecting stories by different authors that are set around the upcoming wedding of a local girl turned celebrity.

Being a novella the author Scarlet Wilson doesn’t have a lot of time to expand on the characters and develop a lot of background, But Scarlet managed to deal with the constraints very well. Being set in a small town in Montana where everyone knows everyone else’s business adds to the story because background information is given to the reader by gossiping locals. Lisa Renee owns the Marietta bridal salon. Her aim is to find the perfect dresses and accessories for brides and their attendants. Now a local girl made big in Hollywood is coming home to have her wedding away from the big smoke. With her comes two spoiled petulant Hollywood starlets who have rejected every bridesmaids dress in every store in the big city. Can Lisa Renee find the perfect frocks for these two before she kills them, or the bride does!!!

When she is not making brides happy Lisa Renee is up in the local hospital’s paediatric ward volunteering with the sick children. Her sister Grace died of Leukaemia and she realised the importance of having someone not medical around to read, listen or just hold a hand and care. Lisa Renee is giving back to the hospital what she received. She is reading a fairy story to a child with cancer when Dr Adam Brady first spies her. Adam is new to Marietta, he recently had a huge lottery win but after paying his out his huge education debt and loans he is not rolling in money. That doesn’t stop people from being friends with him just to get their hands on the loot. He hopes no one will recognise him and so learn to like him for who he is rather than what they can get out of him. Lisa has a kind heart despite tragedies in her near past, Adam is devoted to saving lives and helping people despite the money. Of course they’re going to fall in love. Trouble is if they don’t start to confide in each other things could go pear-shaped.

Its very size means that THE FAIRY TALE BRIDE is a fast read – that it is charming and funny with a little bit of drama as well is the icing on the wedding cake.
