Marketing Plan
Writers of the Future Volume 31 will be released broadly through trade outlets on May 4. Prior to the official release, the book will have a limited pre-release at the annual awards ceremony on April 12th at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.The print version of the book will again be in the large trade format with a color insert of the illustrations, as well as digital editions (Kindle, ePub and PDF).The campaign consists of three key parts:a. Distribution (through indies as well as B&N, Amazon, etc.b. Promotional items including supplying the winners with personalized posters and fliers for book signings as well as in-store point of purchasec. Social media and PRTo kick off the social media ground swell, the Twitter hashtag #WotF31 and #NewGoldenAge will be promoted and appended to all ads, websites and social blogs.
