Description
Welcome to Blissful Bites Bakery for a delicious tale of Christmas love and fresh starts.
Get toasty by the fire and enjoy Maisie and Wade’s delightful, light-hearted romance. A scrumptious treat!
When baker Maisie Quinn returns home to open Blissful Bites, she realizes her dream—a business she loves, life in a lovely small town with her two children, and a chance to win the county’s Christmas Bake-off. With no support from her deadbeat ex, the generous prize money would be a godsend for her tiny family.
After Wade Bennett becomes the new sheriff in town, he figures his four-year contract will give him time to see to his widowed mother and put enough money away to travel the world. Romance isn’t on his mind until Maisie opens her bakery and brings back memories when he thought Maisie might be the one—until she graduated, married, and moved away.
But then dreams confront reality, and the Christmas holiday turns serious for the unwary couple. Heavenly interference might be needed to help two determined people get what they want for Christmas.

A cozy, heartwarming treat full of second chances, small-town charm, and holiday magic.
Two Hearts for Christmas is everything I want in a holiday romance—warm, comforting, and filled with just the right sprinkle of Christmas spirit. Maisie is a lovable, determined heroine juggling single motherhood, her bakery dreams, and the pressures of a local Christmas Bake-off (yes, please!). Wade, the handsome and steady new sheriff, is just the kind of swoony, emotionally grounded love interest I root for.
Their story is full of tender moments, delicious descriptions (you’ll want to eat every baked good in Blissful Bites!), and a gentle reminder that it’s never too late to find love—or to believe in a little holiday magic.
This is a Hallmark-movie-in-book-form read that pairs perfectly with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa.
For fans of Jenny Hale, RaeAnne Thayne, and all things sugar, spice, and second chances. A five-star seasonal delight!

my heart cannot deal with this level of loveliness. and yet it can because i never know how much i need these kind of stories until i read them and i do.they are just what a cynical ogre like me needs. and that is why i click into them every single time. it takes a special type of book and special authors to bring such warmth and characters to a book. a book that can bring a smushy kind of love even to those cynics like me. and this book. oh yes, just lovely.
Maisie owns a bakery and lives with her kids. shes had a rough time and needs to start making things right. or she needs for things to just feel a little less tough. shes got the determination and the love for what she does. and so she decides to enter the contest to win some money which will go along way in helping her situation. she needs this for more than that though. she needs this win for so much more. but the other bakeries in this contest are a talented bunch.
weve also got Wade who is the local sheriff. hes had his own fair of tough times. and is not expecting what is before him now. this light, this woman, this family. he has enough to deal with with his own family as his mother is in a nursing home and hes come here to spend time with her.
and these two grow ever more closer like any gorgeous moments usually do in these books.
there all the "oh no!" moments of course with complications and missed moments along the way. not least in the competition with someone clearly trying to sabotage.
this book is a beautiful book. you can almost picture it in your mind like a proper afternoon movie.
the community feel and other characters was also a huge plus point and is actually what gives these kind of books their A*.

Two Hearts for Christmas: At Christmas, life gets a little bit sweeter... (A Green Earth Christmas Book 4) by Annalisa Russo
This book starts out with Maisie and she runs the bakers, lives above with her two kids, divorced and he's in jail. She's preparing for the contest to win $5k and comes up with several recipes she can make for the holidays and has to do really well to beat the other bakeries around town and nearby.
Story also follows Wade who's the local sheriff and has left the military. His mother lives in a nursing home now and he spends time with her, and the aunt that travels to be with them this holiday season.
Maisie and her kids had a lot to do with a fantastic meal for them all.
He's grown to like her and the kids. He has a lot of plans to smooth things over.
Some times the contest doesn't go according to plan and she only gets a few points til they realize somebody put salt in sugar. Horace is greatly appreciative of the repairs he makes at her shop. He sees things that he brings to the sheriff's attention.
They know who's at fault... Kids are involved in the Christmas pageant and they love being a part of it. The whole town and then some turn up for it.
What I really like are the recipes, being a baker myself and the ability to change things up. Love small town atmosphere and how everybody pitches in to help others. Wade really steps up the plate at the end and honor him for brining the father back to the kids, even for an hour.
Beautiful Christmas story.
Another story is excerpted at the end.
Received this review copy from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Sugar, spice, and a second-chance romance? Two Hearts for Christmas is the warm hug I didn’t know I needed—served with a side of heavenly meddling and peppermint frosting.

Two Hearts for Christmas is a cozy, small-town romance that feels like stepping into a Hallmark movie—but with more baked goods and deeper heart. Maisie and Wade’s story is about second chances, rediscovering old feelings, and finding joy in unexpected places. I really enjoyed the sweet, slow burn of their connection and the festive spirit that wrapped around the story like a warm blanket. It made me want to sip cocoa and cheer them on every step of the way.

🔥 Sheriff hottie + cupcake queen = holiday YES, PLEASE. Two Hearts for Christmas is the kind of sweet that doesn’t rot your teeth—just melts your heart! I was rooting for Maisie and Wade from page one (the chemistry? Chefs kiss!) and I’m not even mad at the heavenly nudge that helps them along. If you love small-town magic, sassy second chances, and buttery Christmas vibes, this one’s a total holiday snack. 🎅🍰💕
