Declan's thoughts are.not always PG rated when it comes to Shelby, "man, when she narrowed those hazel eyes at him, he didn’t know if he wanted to paint her or kiss her. Maybe slather paint all over her. Naked." Declan's dad I loved him he was always jumping the gun making his.boy look bad and it was funny:
She sat up and looked at his dad. “Ask me what? You know I’ll do anything for you, Will.”
“If you’ll have him,” his dad said, swallowing. Serious. “If you’ll have us?"
I liked this book it was sweet.

Cute, short story. Declan was afraid he couldn't do love and relationships, plus having to deal with his father's health issues. Shelby had a major crush on Declan back in college. They run into each other and now will they be able to make a go of a relationship or will Declan run away like he has always has before. I really enjoyed this story.

Returning from her baby sister’s wedding, Shelby Worthington decides to drive down the coast road. En route she spots some fantastic art work being put up on display in a gallery and pops in to take a look. That’s where she meets the artist - only to find he’s her school girl crush and first love, Declan Enright! He’s forgotten their night together and become recognised as a talented artist. He has always had a reputation as a heartthrob but he’s also been engaged and almost married three times - with him breaking the engagement every time, once whilst actually at the altar! It turns out he’s returning home to Magnolia Bay to look after his elderly father - who certainly appears not to want him there. The attraction between them is still strong but his reputation and history make Shelby understandably wary. Will their attraction develop into love? Can she trust him not to run from love this time?

With her sister creating more drama, life isn’t straightforward for Shelby. This book is full of agnst and emotional turmoil for many of the characters, not just the two 'stars'. I loved Declan’s dad, Will - he’s a brilliant character with a very strong personality! Shoes also have a significant role in this story. The characters are well developed, the story flows brilliantly with plenty of unanticipated developments to keep the reader enthralled and the writing style is totally engaging. I really enjoyed this addition to the Magnolia Bay books and look forward to reading more by this author!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book very much. Set in a beautiful location. Lots of emotion and passion. Shelby has had a crush on Declan since college. He does not remember their one night together many years earlier. He moves back to Magnolia Bay to help his dad who is having serious health issues. Can he and Shelby make a life together since Declan is known as the runaway groom? Pick up a copy today. A great read, I look forward to reading more by Kim Boykin.

This little gem is one of those sweet little romances where you get caught up in the scenery, the life of a small town and a second chance at love.

Shelby Worthington's life was predictable, structured and safe. She lived a life with close girl friends in a small town while trying to forget about men altogether. After her sister's wedding, she takes a drive back up the east coast to visit seaside towns and runs into her crush from high school/college. He's always been the unattainable, artsy painter she has longingly crushed on.

Declan Enright is noted as the "run away groom" has long denied himself commitment and has been in love with love. He has left three women stranded at the altar and since then has imposed a three date rule on himself. When Shelby walks back into his life, his views slowly change and while he fights it...you can't help who you fall in love with.

Sprinkle in Declan's cranky old dad, a sad sister and close friends and this book is a cute romantic comedy all wrapped up in a nice little package.

3.5

Shelby has had a crush on Declan since High School and in college. They grew up in the same town, but he left and became well known painter.

Well he's back now and Shelby is attracted to him now as when she was a teenager. But she knows Declan isn't for her. He has been engaged three times and doesn't believe he's able to do relationships. But Shelby is ready to find a husband and settle down, so no Declan for her. But what does she do with this constant attraction.

Cute story of how these two overcome their past issues and become acquainted again and find love.

I like both characters and how their relationship developed. I did get frustrated at times with their inability to really deal with each others feeling and fears.

Liked the story and kept me somewhat engaged.

Caught Up In You is by Kim Boykin.

Shelby Worthington loves living in Magnolia Bay. She owns a clothing boutique here and knows this is where she wants to stay. But after attending her little sister’s wedding, she realizes that maybe it’s time for her to find her own happy ever after. At the moment, it’s just her and her cat. The problem is, she has never completely forgotten her high school and college crush, Declan Enright. He was a senior in college when she was a freshman and as soon as he graduated, he was off to New York to make it big as an artist. It is fifteen years later now but her heart still hurts remembering the last time she saw him. Shelby has a serious addiction to shoes, lots and lots of shoes, and chocolates. Maybe she can just be happy with her cat, her shoes and her chocolates?

Declan should be happy. He’s made it big, his paintings selling for tens of thousands of dollars. He has been engaged three times and left three brides at the alter. Why can’t he commit? Declan’s father still lives in Magnolia Bay, his relationship with Declan is non-existent. But Declan’s father is getting older and is sick. So Declan decides to go home, at least for a while, and see if he can repair his relationship with his father and find what is missing in his life.

As soon as Declan sees Shelby, he knows there is chemistry there. But Shelby wants a forever man and Declan doesn’t think he can be that for her. He’s not planning to stay in Magnolia Bay. Plus, he is the run-a-way groom. Try as he might, though, he just can’t seem to stay away from her.

“Touching her, wanting her? It had almost felt like she was already his. Like she’d always belonged to him.”

This was such a sweet story. Declan is trying so hard to repair his relationship with his father but it wasn’t until Shelby started accompanying them on their morning outings on Declan’s Dad’s fishing trawler that things started to soften between them. Sitting out on the water, morning after morning, watching the sun rise together, slowly began to mend the rift that separated them.

But can Declan finally overcome his commitment phobia? Can Shelby trust him? Was the fourth time a charm? Or will he break her heart, again? This is a short story but I easily connected with the characters. They were just so easy to love. I could just see myself living in this beautiful small coastal town, although I don’t think I could afford the clothes and shoes Shelby sells at her boutique! I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more about Magnolia Bay and it’s residents.

Cute little read. A lot of characters, most of whom were unnecessary but it worked. This is a great book for those fans of lost love, unrequited love, and the realization of what one wants for their life.

I would read more from this author. Great book for a rainy Sunday afternoon!

At some point in our adult lives (if we’re lucky) we are going to have to go home again, most likely to help out our aging or ill parents. It’s not something we like to think too much about or even think will ever happen to us – but life is what it is, and we often end up right back where we began.

Declan chose his path long ago. As a successful painter, his life in New York City is far from Magnolia Bay – in so many ways. His dad, now in failing health, has never really forgiven him for not following his footsteps. And maybe Declan is love shy or commitment shy, since he’s almost made it to the altar three times now… none successfully though.

Shelby’s attraction for Declan is nothing new. Their only romantic, if you can call it that, encounter was long ago. That doesn’t stop her from still being attracted to him or hoping that she might change his altar track record by being the one for him. She knows full well she should be staying far away from Declan, dreams are for the young girls still in high school, like she once was. But, damn… she still thinks they would be perfect together, if given the chance. Sure his track record isn’t the greatest – but what if he really had changed.

Can this altar shy man finally find his forever home in her arms?

I enjoyed Caught Up In You. It is a fun, light, fast paced romance. It’s one of those novels that I can say, yeah that was good, and move on to the next novel. That doesn’t mean that the story wasn’t good, if a bit rushed at some points. It still was a good read. And for someone who simply loves a good love story, it fit perfectly.

*I received an e-ARC of Caught Up In You from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

Shelby is on the road to home when she runs into a Delcan who has a big part of her past, and she would like to keep it that way, or maybe she thinks that. Declan remembers Shelby as a sweet girl from his home town and now that they are old he is ready to grab at a chance to get to know Shelby like he's never known her before, or at least he thinks that. This book is a short love story but pack with a lot of fun and adventure. The chemistry is amazing as you turn each page and find out whats going to happen next. The storyline is well written that it will hold your attention through the whole book and leave you wanting a little bit more of this couples journey.

Enjoyed this one a lot! Loved the twist on the runaway bride theme. Shelby Worthington always knew she wanted to stay in Magnolia Bay and she's built herself a nice little life. There's only one thing missing. Her one and only crush Declan Enright left right after college graduation for NYC to make it big in the art world. But he's back now but he seems to have a bit of a commitment problem. Maybe he's not the best one to take a chance with!

Great light quick read that I highly recommend.

Shelby attends her sister's wedding and everyone has come up to her, asking when she's gonna get married. She realizes she indeed wants to settle down someday. Be with someone who'll make her happy, content, and love her pet cat, Bella. (And maybe shower her with lots of pair of shoes!) But the thing is, she hasn't found the one. Until she sees a $45K painting by her highschool crush, Declan Enright. Now that is the man she wants to snag. She gets all tongue-tied seeing him after fifteen long years.

To her, Declan was her knight in shining armor in back in college, until that night when Shelby bared her soul to him. Two days after that, he left for New York and she never saw him again. Last time she heard, he ran away from his bride and the world had witnessed it on TV.

And now he's back in Magnolia Bay, stirring up old memories and old feelings she have kept within. He's back to mend broken ties with his father, and Shelby's been there for him.

I don't know what to feel after reading this book. Well, yes, I was lightheaded and smiling because it's an HEA, but I felt that there was something missing. I would have loved to read more of Declan's past relationships, to better understand his phobia to long-term commitment, and how he came up with the idea that Shelby might just be the one who would tame him and end his runaway days. I would have also loved if there had been a much deeper foundation for Shelby's feelings, instead of just reliving her highschool crush for him. Plus, Chelsea's marital issues was also something I would have loved to read more. This was a short read, so I understand some parts had to be shortened and left out. Now, if this would turn into a series, I would love it even more.

Overall, Caught Up In You was an easy read, entertaining and nicely written. I loved the father-and-son relationship and how the characters redeemed themselves. I understand Shelby's love for chocolates and shoes - two of my many weaknesses - so I highly recommend this to my friends and readers in need of TLC.

I love reading stories form Magnolia Bay. Shelby's little sister just married and now she is ready for her HEA. Declan has returned to Magnolia Bay, Shelby had a crush on him in college. Declan though is not husband material, he better known as the Runaway Groom, in fact three failed engagements. As sparks begin to fly, will Shelby be his last.

Loved ex fiance, Denise, such spunk! Bella the cat, showed such sass. Loved Shelby's addiction with shoes and chocolate, how can you go wrong with that. We all need friends like the Slick Chicks. This book has it all, love for your family and friends. Highly recommend this book for a quick afternoon read.

Caught Up in You by Kim Boykin is indeed a must read for all. Shelby Worthington attends her baby sister’s wedding and realizes that she too wants that same happiness for herself. But fate has a way of bringing Shelby not just any man but the man who was her high school and college crush, Declan Enright. She still wants Declan but his history of running away from marriage leaves her wondering if he would break her heart too. Declan is back to help take care of his dying father. Even if his father won’t forgive him for not taking up the family business. Readers will see how Declan changes into a new man and how he chases after Shelby. Both Shelby and Declan get tangled up in one another but where will fate leave them?

Kim Boykin’s novel was outstanding. The characters pop off the pages. And Declan’s thoughts paint vivid images within readers minds. Declan is an artist after all. Declan’s father makes the novel a perfect read. He makes his son look bad but readers will see the love that these intriguing characters share. I enjoyed reading Caught Up in You. I would highly recommend readers everywhere to read this extraordinary romance that will melt the heart of every reader. Overall, I give it a five out of five stars.

I love Magnolia Bay! This is a sweet, short romance – perfect for whiling away an afternoon.

Shelby Worthington has decided that it’s time for her to settle down and do some husband hunting. Fter all, her baby sister has just gotten married. She is still hung up on Declan Enright, her high school and college crush – now a successful painter with a reputation for being a runaway groom. Not the best candidate for a husband…Can he convince Shelby that he won’t break HER heart?

Declan is back to Magnolia Bay to care for his dying father. He is not in town for romance, but Shelby is definitely catching his attention. The only problem that I had with this book was the length. It seemed rushed and lacked details that you wish could have been included. It seemed slightly rushed, but does not keep you from enjoying the story. I recommend you take another trip to Magnolia Bay and get to know Shelby and Declan!

Shelby is ready to settle down but her small town doesn't have many options until serial wedding ditcher Declan returns to town to keep an eye on his ailing father. Everything about him screams do not trust can she handle her heart being broken by the one person shes had a crush on for years?
Kim Boykin has done a great job at keeping the reader captivated with the story. its well written and thoroughly enjoyable.
Would recommend to anyone after a wee romance pick me up.

This sweet second chance at love story is a lovely novella. It fits into the series well. I have read one other Kim Boykin book, and I find her strength to be creating really vibrant characters. Caught Up In You features an engaging couple, easy to relate to emotionally, definitely easy to root for their happily ever after. The only drawback for me is the novella format, everything seems just a little to rushed for my taste. It helps that the hero and heroine have history, their backstory helps form their characters. The balance between character, story and romance is good, I just wanted more of everything. I went with 4 stars because the story is good and the writing first rate (I won't penalize the author for my taste in formats).

What a beautiful romance. Shelby has had a crush on Declan since college but each went their own way one to New York and one back to Magnolia Bay. He went to New York to pursue becoming an artist and she went back home to Magnolia Bay opening her own shop and looking for mister right. Their paths cross again when Declan finds himself returning to Magnolia Bay to check in on his aging father. Shelby still feels the spark when around Declan but knows that he has run from three brides and has a rotten record when it comes to dating long term or making a commitment. Shelby is looking for mister right to start living out her dreams of getting married and starting a family. A very well written story that holds your attention from the first word until the last.

This was a great summer read. Full of twists and turns and plot-driving misunderstandings, Caught Up in You was fun and sweet.

Shelby Worthington has finally figured out what she wants from life, now she just has to figure out how to get it. How she'll do that with her college crush back in town, a business to run, and a heartbroken baby sister to get back on her feet is anyone's guess.

Declan Enright has made his way back home after finding success in the big city. His abusive father is dying and he wants to try to salvage some kind of relationship with him before he does. Known as the Runaway Groom, the last thing he wants is a committed relationship. Something about Shelby feels familiar and calls to him in a way he's never felt before. Maybe she's The One.

There was so much going on in this story. It was engaging from the beginning and kept me interested right until the end. I really hope we see more of these characters in future Boykin books!

It was short and sweet.. Shelby is from Magnolia bay and plans to settle down in her town forever. When Shelby's sister had a destination wedding and on her way back she meets her long lost college crush Declan in Florida. Never imagined she will see him in Magnolia bay again. Declan becoming famous artist after college and lived in new york. Just came back to Magnolia bay to take care of his ailing father and opened up his new gallery. They had a chemistry but they couldn't admit to themselves because he left three fiancees and he couldn't commit. It was story about Declan finally falling in love. I did like Mr. Will Enright and Shelby. I wished there were more story about her sister Chelsea.

Book Review: Caught Up in You by Kim Boykin

A story of second chances, “Caught Up in You” by Kim Boykin follows boutique owner Shelby Worthington and hometown boy turned famous New York City artist Declan Enright.

Though both Shelby and Declan have been carrying a secret torch for each other since college, they took different paths and did not see each for almost a decade until Declan decided to move back to Magnolia Bay temporarily.

And though they are older and supposedly wiser now, they still try to hide their feelings and thus they keep on sending mixed signals to each other.

Still, if there are two people who really deserve a happily ever after, it is Shelby and Declan. The question is what will make them see the light and be honest with each other.

A quick and easy read that makes you believe that there truly is a happily ever after, “Caught Up in You” brings out the romantic inside all of us.

“Caught Up in You” is Rated T for Teens. There are no sex scenes in this book.

I loved Caught Up in You by Kim Boykin. The feisty but never snarky Southern woman and the returning hometown artist are wonderful characters that I fell completely in love with. Shelby and Declan were complicated characters who used things to compensate for other factors missing in their lives. I think in Shelby’s case, it was shoes because no one really could love shoes that much, could they? Both of them had parental loss before they were adults. In Declan’s case, his father is also abusive. I really admire Declan for having anything to do with him even if his father is now sick.

Overall, Caught Up in You is a sweet, sassy, romantic story that allowed the characters to come together after coming to terms with their past. It does so without substituting sex as a cure all. It has heartache, a sense of hopefulness amidst the drama and humor.

Many of the Tule Publishing authors have become favorites of mine. Kim Boykin is now top of the list.

This is the story of one who does, Shelby Worthington, and one who doesn't, Declan Enright.

Driving home to Magnolia Bay from her sister's destination wedding Shelby realizes that she really does want the whole marriage commitment white picket fence life. During her drive up the Florida coast, she runs into her first and possibly only love, Declan.

Declan also grew up in Magnolia Bay, but left home after college graduation and moved to New York where he became a famous artist. Declan has now moved home to take care of his cantankerous angry father. He was a mean son of a gun to Declan and his mom while he (Declan) was growing up.

Declan has been engaged on three separate locations just three separate women once he even made it up to the altar however realized in time that she was not the one. He never could figure out why he could not go thru with any of them. My feeling, he has always carried a love for Shelby and did not realize it.

I love the story of Shelby and Declan I loved reading about the way they fell in love the emotional insights that the author, Ms. Boykin put into the story. She does a phenomenal job describing everything to the reader.

I have found another author to follow in Ms. Kim Boykin. I love the way she put the story together. I want to thank Tule publishing and Netgalley for the copy of this book, I really enjoyed reading it.

Thank you for reading my review. Read this book you really will enjoy it!

Shelby has had a crush on Declan for years (and years). They’d been friends in college, but he left town for the big city the moment he was able to, and he hasn’t looked back. While he has been wildly successful in his career, the one person he seems unable to impress is his dad, who he has never had a good relationship with, and who is now in poor health. Declan returns to Magnolia Bay to be with his dad, and reconnects with Shelby. While he is a notorious player, he realizes that his interest in Shelby goes beyond playing. Shelby is as drawn to him as ever, but has no interest in playing games or being Declan’s latest conquest. Toss an incredibly ornery dad into the mix and you have a story that is both entertaining and heartwarming. I especially appreciated the author’s depiction of Declan’s dad – the details of his character, behavior, and words really paint a picture of the man, and I enjoyed the developing connection between the dad and Shelby.

The book was a really easy and fast read. I would have liked to have more toward the end of the book before the final chapter, but it was a satisfying ending. I appreciated the exciting yet clean romance that still makes a reader’s heart beat a little faster and happier.

Thank you to the author and publisher for an ARC, from which this review was written, in exchange for an honest review.

This story started off to a slow start for me, but I eventually enjoyed the romance. Both characters looked as if they were going to take awhile to find their true HEA, but I'm happy with the way the story turned out. I would read more from Kim Boykin.

Loved it!!! Can't wait to read more about the Chicks will definitely be on the lookout for more books by the author. Loved the writing style and was so emotional when I was reading about Shelby and her sister Chelsea and the loss of their parents.

Declan Enright left Magnolia Bay a struggling artist and came back a success he's left a few broken hearts in his wake and become known as the runaway groom but he's never forgot the 1 that got away Shelby. Shelby has been in love with Declan since she moved to Magnolia Bay but never had the courage other than a drunken night in college to tell him. This is their story she's sassy and a self confessed Shoeaholic, he's an artist with confirmed commitment issues how will it end?

Kim Boykin has really nailed it with Caught Up In You! I felt a little lukewarm about this book at first. It started as a nice book without really grabbing me but by the time I was into the second chapter I was well and truly hooked. Shelby and Declan are both likeable and believable characters. I liked the way Shelby cared for little sister Chelsea through a difficult time. Declan too is a caring soul, having moved back to Magnolia Bay to care for his ageing father, who has a few health issues and is feisty to say the least.
Declan was Shelby's first crush fifteen years ago, and she's horrified to find it's just as strong now. While Declan noticed her as a teenager he didn't pursue a relationship at that stage. It is only on reacquainting himself with her that he notices the chemistry between them. The growing relationship between Shelby and Declan makes for a sweet story which I loved reading. If you enjoy tender love stories, this one is for you!

Declan left his home town Magnolia Bay to pursue his career as an artist in New York. He is now famous and has earned himself the name of the runaway groom, with good reasons too.

Shelby owns a boutique in Magnolia Bay and has no intention of settling down until she attends her sister’s wedding. As it so happens, on her way back, she runs into Declan and her old feelings for Declan resurface. They knew each other very well at college and haven't seen each other since the night Declan came to her rescue. Shelby harboured a crush on Declan then and she still does.

When they meet this time around, the chemistry between them is very strong but they both want different things in life. Declan is in Magnolia Bay to look after his father who is unwell. There is no indication that he intends to stay permanently and Shelby doesn't trust him because of his reputation.

I like the way Declan is dedicated to his father Will, who is quite the character and how Shelby is supportive of her sister Chelsea who is going through a rough time. The family values come across very strongly in this easy to read and sweet romance.

I received this ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

While she can’t deny her attraction, Shelby’s convinced that Declan’s track record means he will break her heart.

Shelby and Declan's story is mighty complex. Declan and Shelby knew each other from before. Then they were friends in college. Now her sister is posing for his art.

Shelby is trying to keep it together. She works hard, she cares for her community, and she has friends who do the same. Now, her sister is staying with her until further notice.

Declan has come home to take care of his father. Since being back, he has found a comfort in all things familiar. Seeing Shelby again has changed everything for him. She cheers his father up also.

Shelby has a secret that it appears Declan does not know. To tell him or keep it to herself? Can the old flame burn bright again or will fear make it impossible to have a love connection?

Declan wants Shelby. He has glimmers of her and her skin to the point of his memory almost driving him mad. He needs to get through to her that he is here to stay.

The story is full of strong characters. The feelings between Declan and Shelby make for good reading and a lasting love.

This book was cute. A sweet funny romance of a woman who meets up with her first real crush when he moves back home to be close to his ailing father. Shelby has had a crush on Declan since high school & has loved him since college when he unknowingly became her first. Declan has no memory of Shelby other that being friends in college before he graduated & left for New York, but he does know that she feels familiar & that he's not whole unless he's around her. Shelby's looking for love, marriage, a future with children, Declan has run out on three women at the altar thus giving him the moniker of Runaway Groom. Now Declan wants the chance to show Shelby he's changed & he wants to be the man she needs. Can he do it? Good read would definitely recommend it.

Caught Up in You is a sweet story. Shelby has had a crush on Declan since high school. He is back in Magnolia Bay to look after his dad. He doesn't remember their one night together in college before he left to become an artist and is the "Runaway Groom" of Magnolia Bay.

This is a fast pace read and very enjoyable.

Copy provided through Net Galley for an honest review.

Declan and Shelby have a history......she had a huge crush on him in college. He rescued her from a bad situation, there was some drinking, things got heated and she fled the next morning before he wakes up. He left for New York a couple days later not remembering what happened between them. They both moved on and Declan became a successful artist.....who has left three different brides at the alter. Shelby is back in town after her sisters wedding and Declan is back in town to be close to his father....who has not been a nice man through the years. Shelby realizes she is ready to settle down in life...she wants more but Declan doesn't appear to be a good bet in the commitment department. I liked this book...and I really like how Shelby came to befriend Declan's father. She seemed to soften him and it was really sweet. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

CAUGHT UP IN YOU is the perfect afternoon read. There were some laugh out loud moments between Shelby and Declan that had me grinning from ear to ear. There were warm, heart tugging moments that had me holding my breath. Though there weren’t a lot of hot sizzling moments, the romance felt real between Declan and Shelby and I found myself cheering for them and hoping they could let go of the past. If you’re looking for a cozy, perfect romance, you’ll will enjoy CAUGHT UP IN YOU. When ever I see that Kim Boykin has a new book out, I run to it. She has a talent of pulling the reader right in from the very beginning and never letting go.

Really enjoyed this story!:)

A nice novella that has a wonderful couple rekindle their high school romance. Shelby decides it's time for a family after attending her sister's wedding and finds the perfect candidate, Declan who is returning to the Low country after becoming a famous author. There are plenty of great women in this story to spark more books set in Magnolia Bay and I'll enjoy finding them.

This was a nice twist on the runaway bride. Declan, not being able to commit because he was in love with being in love. The image of a man running out the church was amusing. I would like to see that youtube video! Shelby was the girl who got away without him knowing it. With all the drama of Chelsea and Matt, I would like to have seen the reunion. Kim makes Will out to be a gruff but eventually sweet old man and it's hard to reconcile that with someone who would beat his wife. While I am glad Declan and his father came to terms with that, it was only implied so it just seemed odd.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley/Tule Publishing/Southern Born Books for an honest review. Shelby and Declan had a past and meet up again years later. Shelby has always had a thing for Declan but he doesn't know. I enjoyed the characters in the book. I felt that the story didn't flow very well. There was not enough romance. Overall it was an okay read. The author did leave you wanting to read her next book in the series.

I was provided a copy of this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion and a review

After Shelby Worthington attends her baby sister’s destination wedding, She decides she is ready to do some husband hunting of her very own. But there is a problem? She is still extremely attracted to Declan Enright, her high school and college crush.

He is now a wildly successful painter and just so happens he is temporarily back in Magnolia Bay, but Declan ... he should be the last choice for Shelby.. He didn't earn his reputation as the runaway groom for nothing.....

Declan has worked so hard to make his mark on the New York art scene and he has succeeded beyond his wildest imagination. but he has to succeed at love.

Declan has come back to the Bay to change that and to care for his dying father, even though his father still has not forgiven Declan for leaving the family business.

Shelby has made up her mind to steer clear, but while she say's no, her heart is screaming yes each time she and Declan are together. Whilst she knows she cannot deny her attraction, Shelby is convinced that Declan’s past record means he will break her heart. Or has Declan changed? and made the decision that love is worth the risk?

This book had allot going on but from the moment i picked it up, it had a spark of magic to it, i just new i would in love with it.

The characters are well written and i love the spark they have from the very beginning it entices you to read more and more of this fantastic book.

Very Enjoyable!
This is a great book; this is the fifth book in the Lowcountry Lovers Series by Kim Boykin. Shelby attended her baby sister’s wedding, ever since the wedding she had decided that it is time for her to find a husband. The problem is that she is still in love with Declan her high school crush. She knows that Declan is not the marrying kind since he ran off to New York. Declan has come back to Magnolia Bay to come take care of his dying father. When they see each other they know that they still have feelings for each other. If you are looking for a short sweet romance then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to the next book by this author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

An adorable story that definitely had heart, but it needed a little work. The friendship between the Six Chicks wasn't as involved as I'd hoped and Chelsea was annoying as anything. Declan and Shelby were cute, but my favorite relationship in the book was Will and Shelby's. They were adorable. Cute short story over all.

One of my favorite reads is a second chance at love story. This is Shelby's and Declan's love story. After going to her sister's wedding Shelby decides it's time to get serious about settling down and finding her own love. Is Declan, the man she has had a crush on the right choice. Declan is "known' for being that man who can't make that final committment! A great read as you feel the struggles these 2 characters go through finding their way to that HEA

I enjoy every visit back to Magnolia Bay. Kim Boykin takes us back to the Lowcountry with Caught Up in You, Shelby Worthington and Declan Enright's story. I loved the idea that Caught Up in You was a past crush, present maybe. Boykin delivers likable characters with Shelby and Declan and relatable circumstances.

I'm looking forward to the next visit back to Magnolia Bay.

ahhhhhhhhhh ... Magnolia Bay :)

Shelby Worthington has her ah-ha marriage/future moment driving home from her sister's wedding. And she has her heart set on Declan Enright ... her biggest crush who left her after graduating college to make a name for himself.

But wait ... there's more .... THE TWIST (lol) ... Declan Enright's got himself a bit of a reputation. One I found QUITE funny and allowed the story to have a twist I'd never read! He's known as ... The Runaway Groom ! (now tell me you just don't want to run out and buy this book?!?!?) LOL

FANTABULOUS easy read and I highly recommend it!!

A must read! I enjoyed reading "Caught Up in You."

I am not usually a fan of flashbacks in stories, and I did not like it here either, While I liked the book overall, it would have been nicer, if the Author would not have used that technique, as it took me out of the flow of the novel. Not a bad novel, but it could have been so much better. I did like the characters, though, especially the side characters who had depth.
