Description

When magic died a thousand years ago, the nine realms shattered. Now, Aislynn, an immortal elf worn by the weight of existence, seeks to end what remains. But a hidden wizard weaves a prophecy to stop her—one that ensnares an unlikely player.

Wraith, an outcast hunter marked by strange pale eyes, survives by staying in the shadows. Then he crosses paths with Aislynn and discovers a power he shouldn’t have—the ability to see and alter destiny itself.

When the worlds teeter on the edge of ruin, their choices ripple through reality. The path they walk will either save existence or destroy it.

LEGACY OF THE CROWN is an epic fantasy of fate and free will, sacrifice and redemption. Destiny stirs in the wind, but the price of salvation may be more than anyone is willing to pay.

Advance Praise

I would give this book six stars if I could. I know this is an Indie Author and I know this book came out just this year but I'd be amazed and angry if it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I can't even begin to describe the world building in this book. I need this to become a best seller and get turned into a movie series. It is up there, for me, with Lord Of The Rings except there are never any dull or low points. Even what's usually fluff sensory details to fill the gaps is done so masterfully that I was never once bored and I was experiencing every word. I read pretty fast but I stopped many times to re-read a part because I simply couldn't understand how someone's brain could come up with this stuff. I don't really know where to start. Every character, every interaction has a purpose, a meaning, and a connection throughout the book. Some I didn't even realize until later but there wasn't a time I felt I knew what was coming. Other reviewers talked about fate and destiny and all that jazz so I won't cover that at all. I would say this is an epic fantasy non-romance genre. There is a connection and a kiss but I would not classify it under romance. I think this is important for those who don't particularly like romance in their books but for those who do, I am usually one of them, this book didn't need it. I wasn't missing anything. I've been reading some pretty good books by Indie authors lately, and some not so good, but this is one of the best written books I've ever read. It's definitely one of my top five favorites now and I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out. I do not understand at all why publishers aren't scrambling to get something going with Tim Wilbur because not only can this man write but his talent to bring characters and worlds to life is God-given. Congratulations, Tim. This better be your year and you deserve every bit of it!
