Dangerous Flirt is book two in the Layton series. I read book one, Dangerous Kiss and I loved it......but I have to say I loved this book a little more!! Hank and Beth have had a simmering attraction for years but Beth feels because of something in her personal life that Hank won't be able to be truly happy with her. I don't want to be a spoiler so I won't re-cap the story....I'll just say it broke my heart a little. This book is steamy, action packed and just plain hot. Avery Flynn has got it go'in on with this series. I can't wait to read Sam's story!

Beth has wanted Hank for awhile, but he is still dealing with the end of his marriage. When he finally opens his eyes to possibilities with Beth, she has a reason why she does not want to pursue a relationship. It takes someone threatening her to push them together.

I could understand why Hank suddenly wanted Beth, but I wish she had been open with him from the start.

A fast paced romantic suspense book, where the characters have depth. I loved all the Nebraska related details to this one. I really enjoyed Hank and and Beth together.

Great Series!
This is a great series; this is the second book in The Layton Family series by Avery Flynn. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read this one you will want to go back and read the first book in the series. Beth Martinez has had a crush on Hank as long as she can remember. Hank is the local Sheriff and can have any woman he wants except for his best friends little sister Beth. When someone starts threatening her, he is determined to do anything he can to protect her. The problem is the more time they spend together, the more they can’t deny the attraction. If you are looking for a hot romance with suspense and mystery then you need to read this book.
