**This book was graciously provided by NetGalley via Rock Star Lit for my honest review and enjoyment.

You'll like this book if: sexies mixed with angst and a slight little touch of mystery sound fun. (You know it does! Reading this book's blurb will draw you in alone!)

3.5 stars

THE STORY: Using the value of her virginity to secure her medical school future, Mia Strong posts her 'Virgin Manifesto' on her blog. Otherwise known as: The rights to her virginity. Highest bidder takes all. $750K seals the deal, high bidder being Adam Drake, millionaire CEO gaming extraordinaire. Despite a rocky first encounter, Mia and Drake begin meeting for various interludes- the main 'act' never being completed. Feelings and emotions begin to entangle them, life circumstances deepen their connection, and behind it all is an air of mystery just begging to be resolved.

MY THOUGHTS: My first thoughts after starting this book are how I can not wait to find out what makes a girl like Mia tick. What in the world could she be thinking? Who in their right mind sells their virginity? (This could get me started on a whole 'nother topic... about how it actually happens every day, women selling their bodies to secure their futures. But for now, I will stick to the story alone.)

Being that I'm not a gamer, and have no interest what-so-ever in this space of the world, some of the lingo and dialogue in the story were completely lost on me. Anything revolving around the theme of online gaming actually makes me go cross-eyed and feel a little dizzy- I'm that disinterested. Not to mention, this whole premise of a girl selling her virginity, via a gaming blog, seemed so far fetched and unlikely I figured there was no way I'd actually become invested in the story. Buuuuuut... GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? Never say never folks! Yours truly became drawn into the universe of Mia and Drake, and just had to know what would become of these two damaged individuals. Did I foresee the plot twist? From a hundred yards away, yes. Did it in any way dampen the moment of truth? Not even a touch! I seriously enjoyed watching the story unfold. What I could have done without is all of Mia's dramatic angst. But what do you expect? She's 22. Par for the course.

Give it a go, see what you think. Promise you'll love watching Drake work his magic :-)

So I read the summary to this book and I was immediately intrigued. You don't hear often about a girl selling her virginity online, in fact the only time I ever heard of it was in an episode of Law & Order: SVU. Needless to say I wasn't sure what to expect. At Any Price was sexy, interesting, and kept me in my toes wanting to know what was going to happen next.

Mia is a struggling college student, she is a gamer and blogs regularly. When she finally realizes that she won't be able to make ends meet she makes a huge decision. She posts a ‘Virgin Manifesto' on her blog and begins an auction for her virginity. Little does she know that her virginity will sell for $750,000. The young millionaire, CEO and founder of Mia's favorite game, Adam Drake is the winner. He is dark, sexy and beautiful. Mia may think she is getting paid for just the one night of passion, but Drake wants a whole lot more.

I loved the characters and plot of At Any Price. The characters were unique and well developed. I adored Mia's character and I loved Adam's character, though I did see some of the twists coming it didn't take any shock on how Brenna had them play out. The romance is slow burn, and almost teasing. Its there and then it wasn't. I was swiping through my kindle at record speed waiting for the next Adam and Mia moment. I am disconent with the fact that there are two more books to Mia and Adam's story. I am content with the end to their story in this book, so I might not read on in the series. Overall, I really enjoyed At Any Price and will be looking out for more of Brenna Aubrey soon!

Loved reading a romance about a woman who loves gaming. While I found the twist about Adam at the end a little predictably, I thought their relationship, despite starting in such a strange way, was well developed and adorable (and pretty smexy). Characters were interesting and complex (though it would have been interesting if Adam was a taaad bit less alpha-male). The premise is unique and allows for the characters to have a wonderfully hilarious and romantic story.

I wasn't sure whether or not I would like this book, simply because I'd read some with a similar plot before and they always fell through for me - though they sound so good I can't help but read them. This one, however, I really loved! My favorite part about At Any Price was that neither of the main characters were perfect - far from it. They both had their own demons in their closet and they both came from "opposite sides of the track" so to speak. However crazy this book sounds, the author created a realistic atmosphere within this novel's pages that truly got me caught up in the story and constantly left me wondering what was coming next.

Not only did I truly get to know the main characters, but also the side characters as well. Their family and friends really, truly, play an integral role in the book and that made this book for me. I love getting to know not just the love interests, but everyone around them. Overall, I would definitely recommend!
