It
isn’t every day a sexy demigod throws a pissed-off Cupid onto
psychologist Matilda Schmidt’s couch and informs her the fate of the
world depends on her ability to get him off his diapered ass and back to
helping people fall in love.
Just
when Matilda convinces herself she’s not hallucinating, in walks a
Vegas hit man with a big gun and a bigger threat: pay back the million
dollars she owes a notorious casino mogul, or wind up as fish food in
Lake Mead.
Rocketing
across country with a gun to her head, Matilda has a dysfunctional
love-god in her laptop bag, a million dollar debt she has no knowledge
of, and must convince the seductive hit man he’s snatched the wrong
woman before he convinces her he might be the right man—for a night.
Can Matilda stay alive long enough to keep love from becoming history?

Super fast read, perfect for sitting by the pool or on the beach with. If you are looking for something to make you laugh, sigh and shiver - this is it!

What's Dr. Matilda Schmidt to do when a hunky god and a gorgeous hitman are both after her? Well, she'll have to think fast and not have a mental breakdown. When Crixus shows up at Matilda's office demanding she fix Cupid and then hitman Liam Whatshisface (really, that is the character's name) comes barging in and kidnaps Matilda and a hidden Cupid things get crazy.
Cupid and Liam hit it off, well, after they try to kill each other (am I the only one that thinks a gritty, bad mouth Cupid is adorable); now Liam, Matilda and Cupid are off to Vegas to prove that Matilda isn't really the target and then maybe get Cupid some love.
The story is short, creative and super funny; this is the first book in the Dr. Matilda Schmidt Paranormal Psychologist Series which will be released in a full collection come July 2015.

This was sooo cute! The characters were believable (for being demi-gods) and the action was hot! The story line was written to keep you reading, I didn't want to put it down.

I loved this book from start to finish. A repressed therapist, a filthy talking Demi God of Cupid and a misunderstood hitman. Hugely enjoyable, it's like a chocolate bar that you gobble down in one, then are left craving another. More please.
