Craving Caine was just an okay read for me. The story was a short one and never seemed to get into detail about some things because of that.

Craving Caine is a action packed book. It starts off with Emily Chambray running away from her disturbing husband and ends up with a happy ending. She is fighting to get away from her abusive husband and ends up with a man who will protect her at any cost. In between she is fighting to stay alive and with the man she desires. There is also a twist at the end for Caine. You never know who you can trust with your life. Captivating book. A must read.

Craving Caine is a great quick read. It is a smorgasbord for you reading pleasure...it has romance, mystery and danger. The story starts with Emily who is trying to get away from her husband who is a real jerk who likes to hit Emily. Her escapes has to be a success because if not she will not be alive to try again. Emily meets Caine and he takes her to his cabin. Ohhh hiding out in a cabin with Caine...sign me up. Their attraction is instant but these two don't need to be starting anything so they keep their distance.....hahaha how long will that last.
Will Emily be able to stay safe from the abusive husband? Will Caine and Emily be able to survive each others secrets??!?! I'm not telling!
This is the first book I have read by Erica Lucke Dean. I really enjoyed this quick book. I was able to read it in one sitting. And I look forward to reading more by Erica!

I totally loved this book - it grabbed me from the first page and kept me engaged until the very last page. While there was an ending to the book, I'm really hoping there will be a sequel. The characters are likeable, from the battered wife, Em, who is trying to escape her abusive (and crime boss) husband, to Caine, the would be hero trying to do the right thing. Unfortunately, the real thing, as in life, is not always clear.
The relationship that develops between Em and Caine is very sexy and hot. This one is not for the younger readers, and, though it is very sexy, it also tells a very compelling romantic suspense tale. Readers of the genre will love this story.
