You’ll like this book if: A free-spirited coastal town full of quirky Gypsy’s sounds like a good summer read to you. (hint, hint- read it. You’ll love it!)
THE STORY: Sienna Cooper and Ryan McNamara fell in love as teenagers. Their entire world was built around their summers spent together on the coastal town of Gypsy Beach. The lively and free-spirited Sienna stayed wither her nana, a Gypsy, and helped her run the Gypsy Inn during the summer months. Until that one summer…
Years later, Sienna is back, after a storm has ravaged their beloved beach town. (Also returning is a very broken Ryan McNamara. Yeah. It’s that good!) Determined to rebuild the only place she ever felt truly at home, she follows her ‘vibes’ and ends up with more than she ever expected. A special someone, combined with the memories her soul never released, results in pure magic.
MY THOUGHTS: Some stories succeed at pulling us right in- almost like starting the book opened a portal of sorts; a pathway to another world. Gypsy Beach was that exact escape for me. From the prologue, no less!
I absolutely adore our protagonist, Sienna, and her zest for life. She exudes the magical gypsy spirit. It’s in her blood, it’s who she is. How stinking awesome to be the reader embarking on this literary adventure with a female lead that is so unique! I was cheering from the get go.
“Thank you Jillian Neal for providing us with a unique female lead for this literary adventure! Sienna is so unlike typical contemporary leads..she marches to the beat of her own Gypsy drum, and doesn’t wear panties, to boot!” Haha!
The most beautiful part of the book was watching the once fiery Sienna, currently jaded by what the world had thrown her way, find her spirit again. Her graceful innocence is returned to her through the healing powers of true love. A love that adds an unexpected edge to her life, and ignites a flame that had never even come close to burning out. The metaphor of reconstructing a beloved structure, beside a human heart regaining its foundation is truly exquisite. All of this is in thanks to Jillian Neal’s writing style that is full of spark and heart warming, spirited fun. She creates dialogue that is easy to follow, and flows beautifully between well crafted scenes. There’s not a lot of fluff going on… each chapter delivers movement which is greatly appreciated!
The only thing I would choose to change about this book would be for some of the scenes to be drawn out further, providing more description for our engagement. Other than that, it was a home run! I’ll be back for the second installment in the series, absolutely!

I liked this book. normally I'm not drawn to the non alpha male, but I really liked ryan.

Every now and then a book cover just catches my eye and I think I must read that. I know I know, you should never judge a book by its cover but I like pretty things and when I delved deeper I discovered the inside matched the outside because Gypsy Beachis a lovely journey of finding love for the second time.
"All she wanted was somewhere that she belonged."
The old adage out of sight, out of mind doesn't apply to Ryan McNamara and Sienna Cooper. Circumstances separated them and their lives evolved, but the depth of their feelings for one another has never changed. And when they both return to Gypsy Beach, it's not long before the passion between them is reignited.
"That girl with the wide eyes and Gypsy blood, she's had all of my heart and my entire soul since the moment she first kissed me."
Ryan and Sienna were perfect for one another and easy to love. In many respects this is a nice fluffy romantic read; beautiful setting, low-angst, sexy and passionate with an injection of cute from Ryan's daughter Evie Grace, but equally there are moments that bring emotion and some light drama, making it an engaging and captivating read. Secondary characters add real value to the story and whilst were parts of the story that I think could have been elaborated on - some elements seemed a little too easy for this couple considering their past, that's minor as Jillian Neal has brought her reader a strong opener to the Gypsy Beach series which was a pleasure to read. Gypsy Love is firmly on my TBR list.

It's in a gypsy's heart to always roam, the wind will always lead them back home. 4 Stars
Sienna's gypsy blood has had her roaming to find her place in the world. One of the things I enjoyed most about her. She's a free spirit. Fun and magical, and a dreamer. Sexy is a natural way that makes her inner beauty shine through.
Ryan is a damn good man whose life got twisted though no fraught of his own. He's trying pick up the pieces and restart his life. Putting him right in the path of the one thing that has never left his mind for the last ten years.
Jillian Neal transports the reader to what seems like a very real and magical place with her world of Gypsy Beach. Filling a cozy and charming town with interesting and charismatic people that make you laugh and think. Making the reader fall for the magic that lingers is the air like salt. Ryan and Sienna are perfect for each other. Complementing one another in every way. Gypsy Beach will make you smile. A quick, perfect beach or sitting on the deck read!
A review cool was provided by the author/publisher for an honest review.

The cover won me over its just so pretty and purple and a good sunset is my favorite. This is a great beach read. This reminded me bit of Abbi Glines Rosemary Beach, but because of the costal town scenery.
Ryan and Sienna get separated a long time ago. When they return their feelings come back full force. Lets be honest even all this time apart they still feel the same as they did years ago. They belong together.
I loved this book. I went in with an open mind. This book is special though, the love between them is special. The author did a great job. The next book to this series is called Gypsy Love. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Gypsy Beach by Jillian Neal is the first novel in the series by the same name and is a second chance romance about two people whose love for each other never truly ended and who learn all about forgiveness and redemption and that loving and accepting someone, regardless of their present circumstances, may just lead them to the happily-ever-after they've always deserved and wanted. Ryan McNamara and Sienna Cooper were teenagers in love, but because of the involvement of his parents and later her own well-meaning grandmother, that love was put on hold. They went their separate lives, neither of which went according to the plans they set out for themselves as individuals or as a couple. Now, a decade later, they need to make peace with the past and accept the present if they even hope to have a future with one another.
I'm a sucker for second chance romances but I did feel that Ryan and Sienna getting back together was on warp speed. I get that they both still had feelings for each other, but they were also different people, having been changed by their own personal experiences while apart. I would have wanted things to progress at a more realistic pace, but I will say that even with their reconciliation, they had a heck of a lot of trying times thrown their way. There were moments that even I felt overwhelmed with the stuff they were juggling with--his estranged wife, the daughter he missed, her abusive past, the inn--and you can't help but want them to take a step back to re-assess, because that's a natural thing for people to do. But these two made the decision to fight their battles together, and in a cynical world like ours, it's nice to have imagine that something like that is indeed possible. Sienna could have easily abandoned Ryan, the way she felt he abandoned her when they were teenagers, but she's like this beacon of hope and fortitude and she was certainly what he needed.
Aside from my issue with what I felt was the unrealistic speed in which these two got back together and wanting them to truly delve into what ended their young relationship instead of it getting glossed over, I did enjoy the overall story and both Sienna and Ryan were likable characters. The one secondary character who definitely caught my attention was John Rowan, and I think it has a lot to do with my agreeing with his general assessment of things. I know the second book will be about him and I've already lined up to become part of the blog tour because I want to find out more about his story. There's definitely more to him than being a no-nonsense lawyer or Ryan's protective best friend and there's a glimpse of one additional layer when he's with his goddaughter and Ryan's daughter Evie Grace. All in all, Gypsy Beach was a good read. Four stars! ♥

It was the cover of this book that initially caught my eye....it is lovely and in this case you can judge a book by it's cover. This is the story of Sienna and Ryan and it is a wonderful second chance romance.
Sienna Cooper and Ryan McNamara fell in love as teenagers. Their entire world was built around their summers spent together on the coastal town of Gypsy Beach. Sienna stayed with her Nana, a Gypsy, and helped her run the Gypsy Inn during the summer months. Ryan was the rich boy who summered there in the family beach house....until that one summer that he promised to return and he never did.
Years later, Sienna is back. She hopes to run the Gypsy Inn she inherited from her Nana, but has extensive repairs to make after a storm has all most destroyed the lovely beach town. Unbeknownst to her, also returning is a very broken Ryan McNamara. Sienna is determined to rebuild the only place she has ever felt at home and she hires Ryan as her contractor.
Ryan's story is so sad....he has been through hell and he knows that Sienna is the only one for him. Sienna is a free spirit and after hearing Ryan's story she forgives him for the past but she doesn't want to get hurt again. The emotions of this book suck you in and you can't help but hope for an HEA for Ryan and Sienna. They are both so deserving. This is an well written, emotional read and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading additional books in this series.

This was a really great story. It was all that a second chance love story should be. I found it to be sweet, and I thought that it held a special charm. Some of the language was crude and a bit too raw, which was cringe-worthy, but all in all, Gypsy Beach was satisfying.

An ethereal romance. Gypsy Beach has an other world quality to it. It is as if an invisible being has lead these two former lovebirds back to each other. Ryan and Sienna each struck out on their own leaving Gypsy Beach and each other behind. Now both are back after experience life's hard knocks. Each has a story to tell and one that is yet to be written. Will the spirit and beauty of Gypsy Beach help these two realize they belong together? Jillian Neal has written a spellbinding story that is electric and heartbreaking. This series is off to a wonderful start. Received a copy from the author for an honest review.

Sienna Cooper and Ryan McNamara thought that they would be together forever and that no matter what their parents thought of each other, their love was so strong that nothing could break them and overcome any obstacle thrown in their way. That didn't happen though as Ryan came from money and Sienna was gypsy blood. Though they lived in the same world for the Summers , they were apart in class and on the social status ladder. Their last summer though that they spent together was the start of heartbreak for both Sienna and Ryan as the next day he left without a word as his family packed him up and sent him to college , leaving before he could tell Sienna anything. During this time, he ended up getting married to a real cow and having a child whom he loves so much. Now ten years later , he is back in Gypsy Beach - wanting to start a new life for him and his daughter , the thing is though that he isn't the only one who has returned to Gypsy Beach after spending just as much time away as Sienna's grandmother has passed away and left her the Inn and now Sienna is wanting to rebuild it and turn it back into a successful Inn . The clinch though is that Ryan's house is right next door to the Inn and he needs a job and fast and since he owns his own construction company - he is perfect. As the pair spend more time together, they start to rekindle their love but once again - can they make it through hard times as trouble is chucked at them from all sides of the court ? Gypsy Beach was such an amazing and sweet contemporary romance and reading it I fell in love with the main characters Sienna and Ryan and the way Sienna treated Ryan's daughter made me awhhh. I am now looking forward to reading the next two books in the series.
