What are Dangerous Prayers? That’s when we pray to relinquish our lives to God as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1). What happens when we pray dangerous prayers? Tremendous heat is generated when we encounter various trials and tribulations. “The testing of your faith produces endurance which has its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:2-4). Sometimes things get a lot worse before they even start to get better. Deliverance often takes much longer than we originally expected, making us wonder if the pain is really worth it. Dangerous Prayers test our faith to the breaking point to prove its unshakable strength.

This is a great book full of different stories to explain how great and how scary prayer can be! Dangerous prayer is letting God know that you're ready to do as he wants and giving your life over but the dangerous part is asking.

It's like that old adage be careful what you wish for. In the stories there were so many great things that happened because people were willing to ask how they could be used to help others.

Out of the stories here, the one that resonated with me the most was the girl that had a really hard time after she became a teen. Her parents had a hard time as well trying to understand her, as all parents do during that time. They almost lost her when she tried to commit suicide. Fortunately they wanted to help her but they also knew that there were some things that they couldn't do without God.

There are many stories like this one, that really delve into life and how hard it can be but how great it is to pray and surrender yourself.

Very short, easy read that is an inspiration.
