A rumor. A secret. A lie. A murder.

Charlotte is convinced that popular, pretentious Bellany Silverfield is out to get her. But it turns out somebody is—or was—out to get Bellany: Charlotte finds her high-school bully dead in the woods, having been brutally murdered. While Charlotte is desperate to find the killer, she would be lying to herself if she wasn't a little relieved that Bellany was finally done tormenting Charlotte and her friends.

But circumstantial evidence and rumors start circling around town, funneling suspicion towards Charlotte herself. Good thing Charlotte has her friends to support her...right?

As loyalties shift and friendships are tested, it looks like Bellany has one last cruel prank to play that will leave Charlotte behind bars...or worse.
