Description
Two criminals, one blood-soaked past, zero brakes on what's coming next…
Mark Anthony King should be a corpse. A year ago, one drug-fuelled day set off a chain reaction of chaos—his home became a bloodbath, his life was left in ruins, and thirteen were dead. Or so he thought.
Now, his old supplier—the ruthless, cold-blooded French Connection—has resurfaced with more shadowy narco-business, a fresh dose of trouble, and a revelation that rattles him to the core: only twelve people died that day.
Toby—his partner in crime, his wildcard, his barely functional right hand—is still breathing.
Reunited after more than a year apart, the duo dive headfirst back into a life of narcotics, fast money, and outright lunacy. Roaring across Wales with cocaine in their bloodstreams, smoke in their lungs, and a monstrous V8 underfoot, they carve a reckless path through the underworld. But with a megalomaniacal cop on their tail and a rogues' gallery of criminals, killers, and psychos closing in, their wild ride is destined for a brutal showdown.
Lawless, fearless, and completely off their heads—Mark and Toby are back together again.
Back in Business delivers a neo-noir cocktail of dark humour, relentless crime, and unapologetic chaos. Get your copy today and take the ride of your life through the blood-slick streets of Neo-noir Wales—where survival is optional, but chaos is guaranteed.

I really enjoyed getting to read this and enjoyed the neo-noir element that flowed in this book, it was a strong world and the characters worked well together in this. I was invested in what was going on and figuring out what was happening with the characters. It was everything that I was wanting and thought it worked well in the genre. Simon Pearce has a strong writing style and glad I got to read this.
Cops, criminals, chaos—just another Tuesday in Wales.
Back in Business is a pedal-to-the-metal, bullet-dodging, laugh-in-the-face-of-danger thrill ride that makes you want to buckle up, hold on, and maybe call your lawyer.
Back in Business is an exhilarating, high-octane thriller that grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go. Mark Anthony King, thought to be the last man standing after a drug-fueled disaster, discovers that his past isn’t as dead and buried as he thought—his partner Toby is still alive. The duo is dragged back into the chaos of the underworld, with drugs, danger, and death lurking around every corner. The pacing is relentless, and I loved how the author blends dark humor with fast-paced action. The world-building in Neo-noir Wales is gritty and immersive, and the characters are just wild enough to keep you hooked. I couldn’t put it down—it’s a thrilling ride that doesn’t let you catch your breath until the very end!
Hold on tight, because Back in Business is one wild, blood-pumping ride you don’t want to miss! Mark and Toby are back, and they are not playing by the rules. Picture this: a bloody past, a mega-crazy cop chasing them, and enough drugs and chaos to make your head spin. The humor is dark, the action is non-stop, and the characters are completely off their rockers—what’s not to love? This book is all about living life in the fast lane, and I had so much fun reading it, I didn’t want it to end. If you’re into adrenaline-fueled stories with a side of dark humor and pure madness, grab your copy now and take the ride of your life! ⚡💥
