What surprised me most was how the author managed to blend raw intensity with real emotional connection; beneath the fire and dominance, there’s a story about surrender, trust, and the wild pull of destiny. I enjoyed reading it because it never pretended to be anything but bold—it’s unashamed, addictive, and impossible to put down once you start.

Let me tell you—Their Reluctant Mate does not do slow burns. Nope, this baby goes from spark to wildfire in about three sentences. Lexie’s got fire in her veins, attitude for days, and three shifters who are equal parts dangerous and drool-worthy. I laughed, gasped, and maybe fanned myself once (okay, twice). It’s steamy, it’s wild, and it’s the kind of story that makes you double-check no one’s reading over your shoulder. If you like your romance hot and your heroes unapologetically possessive, this one’s calling your name. 🔥🐺💋

Loved reading the mesmerizing and amazing story. When Lexie makes a deal with the shifters, she ends up with not one but three Rydarian mates. Read the highly recommended and wonderfully written story.

I have never read anything from this genre before but it was actually quite good. The storyline is futuristic and entertaining. Shifters, strong FMC several MMC’s but somehow the author makes it work. A lot of spice, check out the trigger warnings first but if you like this type of book then you’ll enjoy it. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC, I’d love to read more of this authors work in the future.

Ivy laid the story out beautifully. We knew what was going on, we knew the situation, we learnt about the groups. For me personally, the balance between the story and their intimacies was perfect. Ivy has left it open for the series to continue seamlessly and for us to wonder who the story would follow next. I adore the difference in this shapeshifter story, genetically engineered and different to the others. I cannot wait to find out what else happens in this world. The four of the coalition were so beautifully balanced, everyone needs to add a Malik, Kane and Diego to their life.

Usually not a fan of third POV and the Sci-fi genre, but I barely even noticed. This had me hooked from the first page. Really annoyed it wasn't 8 times longer!
Usually with supernatural elements, I get lost and loose interest with the complex explanations of the rules and ways of the books setting, no such problem here.
Everything made sense and fell into an easy to understand and captivating story.
The spice was hot hot and the story was fantastic. Absolutely in love and zero regrets!

This book starts us in a new world where scientists have been dropped and have had to survive being banished and living near the same hybrids they created. This first book follows the story of Lexie and her coalition as they work to survive and at the same time develop their relationship in a highly stressful environment.
I really enjoyed how the author developed the plot and can’t wait to find out what happens in the next books. The story of Lexie, Kane, Diego and Malik is a happy for now ending, so I am excited to see who the next coalition will be and how the story will develop with the wolves.

Great read, waiting for the next one! When Lexie is stranded on a planet with some fellow scientists, she has to make a choice, starve, freeze or take 3 of the cat hybrids as mates. When Kane sets eyes on Lexie he knows she is his! But can he tame her enough to fit into his environment. Hot romance, suspense, spankings and all that good stuff!
