‘That ending had me GASPING.' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
'This is the perfect conclusion to a perfect series.' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Daggers drawn. It’s time for war.I wouldn’t be done until I held the heart of a god in my hand.
Chiara is a captive of Vitus, the god of life. He plans to kill her and in doing so shatter the barrier between the godly and mortal realms. If he succeeds then everything Chiara knows and loves will be destroyed. More than that, she will lose Callum.
The daughter of death, Chiara has only known darkness. She is a monster. A weapon. A killing machine. And – if she can escape Vitus – the mortal realm’s only hope.
But even hope might not be enough when it comes to war with the gods. For Chiara and Callum to win, Vitus must die and only a god can truly kill a god. It seems nothing can save them, except perhaps death itself…

What a stunning novel! I devoured the first two books but this was the excellent climax of the series (so far).
It's going to be hard to review without spoilers but I can say this: it is action packed. There are twists, turns, plenty of fights, lots of banter and a satisfing ending.
I will read literally anything else that Katie writes and I hope Jaxon gets his own series, big Astarion vibes that I enjoy to no end.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for facilitating me with a review copy of this book at no cost and with no obligation. I reviewed this book voluntarily, and all opinions are my own.
We find ourselves in a different world that we began in The Gifted. Our protagonists are no longer the same. They have faced loss, betrayal, heartbreak and fear, and this growth really shows in The Divine.
Whilst at times the pacing felt slow, by the end I felt I really had gone on this journey with Chiara. Her acceptance of who she is was refreshing, she doesn’t try to change to be a hero. The love between her and Callum was everything I wanted, and their banter is so good. Deana is the highlight for me throughout this trilogy, she’s badass, funny and levelheaded (most of the time).
I flew through the last 100 pages and haven’t stopped thinking about what Chiara and Callum are doing after the events of the book, which for me is the sign of a very well told story.
Perfect ending to this trilogy that I loved so so much !!!! Katie Galvin please write more???? This was such an interesting world and that ending had me GASPING.
The perfect ending to the series. Chiara and Callum have been through so much, will they survive what the gods have to throw at them? Still plenty of twists and turns. Beautifully done.

An enjoyable end to this Romantasy series!
I liked the way the story was resolved. The adventure, intrigue and romance continued. The battle between Callum, Chiara and the gods was detailed and very well written. I don’t want to give away more details and ruin the book for others. Suffice to say that I enjoyed this last book in the series and would heartily recommend it! Happy reading!
The final book in the series wrapped up this trilogy beautifully. The book was action-packed, just like the first two in the series. If anything, there was considerably more action and suspense than previously written as we reached the culmination of the conflict between the realms.
Even with all the action and fighting scenes, the characters continued to develop and show personal growth. This was true not just for the FMC and MMC but pretty much all of the supporting characters.
We got yet another extremely well-timed and well-placed Callum chapter to see things from his POV.
I am delighted with how the series wrapped up, and I feel that there are no loose ends or lingering questions.

Okay, can we just talk about how *The Divine* absolutely SLAPS as the finale to *The Gifted* trilogy?! 😍 Dark, emotional, and totally relentless — war, gods, betrayal, and Chiara finally stepping into her full power. I was hooked from page one.
Chiara is iconic — broken, angry, unstoppable — and her dynamic with Callum? Pure chaos in the best way. Sure, a few moments fly by fast, but honestly, I didn’t care, because I *needed* to know what happens next. This book broke me, rebuilt me, and then broke me again.
**Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐ — If you’ve been following the trilogy, you NEED this ending. Epic doesn’t even cover it.**

The final of the trilogy and it's the absolute best so far. I felt that Chiara stepped up to her true powers. The battles are mind blowing epic. The action is relentless and non stop. I feel this is the perfect conclusion to a perfect series. I would definitely love to read more by this author so I'll be on the lookout.

AMAZING! No words can explain how much the Gifted series means to me. It is exceptional - literally everything about the books are. This book brought the series to a perfect ending and it is definitely a series I will reread again and again because of how good it is. You must read this book if you like anything remotely romantasy or fantasy.
