Ghost on the Lake by Alex Alexander is a ghost story or a soul story to be more exact. Its a story about how Mike goes to swim and suddenly he is not in his body anymore but he does not remember what happened, why did he die.

He starts to investigate, finds others who also died that same night and who's bodies also missing. The plot thickens when they get more information about souls, about Mike's friend ...

Laura has found her soul mate but he goes missing one summer night, when he went swimming. His parents are devastated, his best friend (who Laura has known longer than Mike, but she did not know he was Mike's best friend) tries to help family as much as he can. She does not want to give up on Mike when everybody else tells her to accept that Mike is gone. He brother believes her and with his help, she finds Mike.

Mike uses the knowledge he has collected and with Laura's help he will be connected with his body again.

It was a interesting story, interesting theory about souls and what happens to them after death, but at some point the story looses it's flow. There are some things that I did not really understand why they were needed and some things that were big at the beginning are absolutely forgot at the end. Good strong beginning but the end is rushed and not well thought through.

Interesting story, but it could have been better.
