Description
"Kingsley: First Act – A Mystery That Redefines Storytelling"
Kingsley: First Act was designed to provide two different reading experiences. First, as a non-linear story, and then as a traditional linear story. If you like a challenge, you can start with the non-linear version and follow the clues. The non-linear version has a cinematic feel and encourages you to fit the events together like a puzzle. If you prefer a more familiar type of narrative flow, you can start with the linear version and read the story page by page from the beginning.
Together, both formats give a new approach to storytelling, encouraging you to see events from different angles and to get a deeper understanding of the plot. The choice is yours.
In the story, what began on Christmas Eve as a simple case becomes much bigger when Gary is forced to work with another detective to solve a case in just one hour.

What began on Christmas Eve as a simple case turned out to be much bigger than anyone could have imagined.
Gary has always wanted to be known as the best detective of all time, but he is forced to work with another detective to solve a case in just one hour.
As the two detectives follow the clues, they become intertwined with unexpected characters, including a magical creature, a maid, and a Calamity.
As the investigation unfolds in the town of Kingsley, Gary will have to choose between friendship and fame.
I really enjoyed this story. Will recommend to others

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I like that it a mystery/ thriller with a humor aspect to it. I like the setting, writing style, the plot and plot twist. I like the characters were good. I like how the story played out throughout the book. I like how it resolved in the end. I would definitely read more from this author in the future. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes mysteries or thrillers with a humor aspect to it.
I really enjoyed getting to read this book, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed from the genre. The detective characters were so well written and enjoyed going on this journey with the characters and the rest of the cast. The plot was so well written and enjoyed how everything worked together. Máximo César Castellanos was able to weave a strong storyline and was glad I read this.
