Description
A cozy and sexy interconnected standalone romcom perfect for fans of Meghan Quinn and Pippa Grant.
When I recruit my Christmas-loving roommate for a holiday charity fundraiser, I don’t expect a kiss under the mistletoe to risk our friendship.
We have three days in a scavenger hunt to rack up as many points as possible and Brin is the perfect person to do this with—she exudes enthusiasm and energy, especially when it comes to the holidays.
I would know—we share a room in an apartment in New York City. It’s close quarters. Too close, judging by how often I catch myself thinking about her.
Things I try not to think about, because Brin is also too kind, too small-town sweet for someone like me. My job as the personal assistant to one of the wealthiest trust fund socialites in Manhattan is to be his fixer—when he needs someone to be an asshole, I’m the one he calls. And I'm good at my job, because that’s what I’ve done all my life, pushing away everyone I loved.
As we race around the city ice-skating, eating sufganiyot, honoring the winter solstice, and yes, kissing under the mistletoe, I discover Brin has some secrets of her own, and I may be just the type of man she needs.
Chock-full of holiday cheer and pining, these best friends and roommates will realize that they complement each other everywhere that matters. Cuddle up for a cozy and hot winter wonderland!

this book charmed me from the off. i loved that front cover. i mean look at that. doesn't that bring huggly snugly romantic feeling. oh and when we mixed it with the festive feels? yeh, im in. i also really enjoyed seeing the blurb written in this way. and by that i mean it was a man. because so often we come at it as if this is a woman's thoughts and story about to begin but here we have the man. we already know hes fallen. and so lets go. lets go find Brin!
this book by Liz wasn't hard to read at all. and i mean that in every sense. her writing is just so smooth, so light of touch, so skilled. it makes it feel like you simply gliding mover the pages. add a brill story to that and you've once again got a winner here. for this one with the scavenger hunt aspect you are taken even more from page to page hop, skip and jumping your way through with them.
for this book we meet roommates Marco and Brin who are roommates taking part in a scavenger hunt for charities. and what better way than fun and team work to get closer to each other.
i loved how as we go we get to know the pair. both as individuals and as a pair they have their stories. both lives get better with each other in it. they are so good for each other. they support, they tease, they have fun and im pretty sure they love. this is two people who make each others lives better and only add to who they already are. these are two people that i was rooting for from the get go.
i adored this book and once again felt like i was smiling far too widely and stupidly throughout that i might embarrass myself.
Liz can write books. Liz can write beautiful books. and this was another one to add to that collection. another beauty.
