I would love to read this book again because it is perfect for traveling, especially if you are waiting at the airport, for example.If you like the topic brother's bestfriend, childhood crush or she fell first but he fell harder than this is a perfect book for you.

About the Couple: Sean and Brooke's story had a serious unrequited love/friends to lovers vibe. It was pure will they/won't they energy. It made the way they came together that much more intense. Watching them fight what they felt until they simply couldn't was worth the build up.

About the Conflict: I think the conflict arc in this story was done really well. The internal struggle that Sean was dealing with stood out to me the most. It was believable. He obviously wrestled with himself over what he wanted versus what he allowed himself to have. He was trying to do the right thing, even if it meant letting go of his heart's desire. He was a good guy...think cinnamon roll + golden heart.

About the Band/Support Network: I love this band! The way they support each other stands out. They are a family in all the ways that count.

Honorable Mention: Dad 💛 (That scene had me tearing up with a quickness. I was well on my way to the ugly cry over it. It was touching and telling.)

My Final Say: Sweetness and sacrifice were written all over this one. The secret and not so secret crush, the palpable tension, the J-word drama, and the long-standing love between Sean and Brooke made for a wonderful story. The epilogue was icing with sprinkles.

I am super excited about the next story. Let's go!

Other: Readers who enjoy brother's best friend romances, forbidden to forever scenarios, and stories with rockstars who have cinnamon roll appeal will love this story.
