I love this comic/graphic novel. Two travelers in a swords-and-sorcery-like world join up and become mercenaries together, battling beasts and bad guys. One is from a 20th century world like our own, while the other is from the fantasy-like plane. The writing is funny and fast-paced, the escapades are clever and fun, and the characters grow and develop over time. Warnings for lots of gore and violence, as you might expect when you kill bugbears and what not.
This was such a fun comic with the right balance of action and violence and a bit of sass. The art and colour palette are fantastic and really suited the story. I loved the fantasy element and it really gives the vibes of a D & D game filled with the usual suspects who want to attack everything they see. A must read for comic fans.
