This is a lovely picture book! It is both informative and interesting. I liked that their is pronounciations throughout the book, and I loved the information at the end. The art is also very cute!

Readers join Mariam as she and her parents make a pilgrimage of Hajj. We see her search for a way to share and find it in sharing sacred water with those who need it. The author shows each step of the journey from Mariam's POV. The illustrations capture the excitement and the sacredness involved.
