I absolutely enjoyed working through all the ideas and will be purchasing several copies for my library. I have always enjoyed foraging and creating art with nature. I feel a lot of art in the book will be perfect to incorporate into programming, and I plan to host an event inspired by the Botanical Rocks. The cyanotype section had a ton of creative ideas, and my mind is already turning with various lessons I can do with my students. I also really liked the air-dry clay ideas that will be easy to incorporate into programming. Perfect for nature lovers, crafters, and artists. All ideas are easily executed. Beautiful layout, vibrant photos, an itemized list of supplies needed, and easy-to-follow instructions.

I hate that I read this book in December, because it means that my garden is currnetly dead and I can't just go outside and start gathering all the flowers I need to put this book into action! However, I loved looking through this beautiful book, and it gave me lots of fun craft ideas to put into motion next spring and summer. I espcially liked the quick hacks for drying flowers and herbs, which has been a sore point for me when I've tried other methods previosuly.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. This book is filled with many ideas of art projects you can do with materials from outdoors or your garden. Most of the activities lean towards adults, but could also be done with kids.
This is a fantastic book for flower enthusiasts. I love the idea of finding ways to turn beautiful flowers into permanent art pieces— from cyanotypes to flower art collages as wall art. The pictures are so captivating and have inspired me to pick up a new hobby this upcoming new year.
*immediately looks for scanners and adds flower art to must do list*
This book was a delight and while a lot of the projects aren’t for me, the scanography, cyanotypes (a far off project for me), water arrangements, and all the beginning drying and arranging got my wheels turning!
The projects fun and there are a variety of them in here, and the photography is beautiful! After the holidays I will absolutely be trying some of these out.
I love that these (maybe cyanotypes aside) are pretty easy and supplies are also quite accessible or can be DIYd fairly easily.
They suggests ways to get flowers and give tips on collecting/foraging ethically which is great.
If you love art, crafting, and flowers, this is definitely worth checking out!
I loved this book!! 25 completely doable inspiring projects are thoughtfully detailed. I enjoyed understanding how the author really cares about being connected to nature and the things we grow. The photography was amazing and appreciated the tips for taking better photos.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this advanced reader's copy and the opportunity to this early. Review has been posted on Waterstones and Goodreads.
This was a brilliant craft read, with fantastic projects to try out during all seasons. Good step by step instruction, useful botanicals, photography tips, and required implements.
Highly recommend!
I loved this meaningful art book. I am looking forward to putting into practice some of these projects. I feel like these can be done with my whole family as we enjoy time together and incorporate nature. I found the illustrations to be beautiful and the instructions clear. I love how there is something for everyone and every season.
This is a comprehensive look at what you can make with flowers! I think there has to be a craft for everyone within these 25 projects. My most favorite were the floral rocks and the cyanotype scarf!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.
Art from the Garden is a beautifully presented and inspiring creative guide that invites readers to see nature as an artistic resource. The photography is stunning and the projects are clearly designed to be visually impactful, very shareable and perfect for anyone who enjoys botanical crafts with a modern, aesthetic touch.
I especially enjoyed projects like the wrapped rocks (I probably live under a rock because, yeah, I had no clue this was a thing), air-dry clay pieces (I bought clay, now I'm looking for leaves and lil branches :D), botanical wall tiles (I can't find tiles, but still looking -.-), string orb sleeve and the cyanotypes (both silk and stone). These stood out as the most engaging and creatively satisfying and they felt like projects I could realistically imagine trying at home.
Most of the instructions were clear and approachable, making the book accessible even to readers who may not consider themselves particularly crafty. That said, a few projects would benefit from additional guidance. For example, when working with cyanotypes, more detail about choosing paper (brands, differences or recommendations) would have been helpful. I had a similar experience with the bisque-fired tiles, where a bit more technical explanation could support readers who are new to this type of crafts.
Overall, this book works wonderfully as a source of inspiration and creative motivation. It encourages experimentation, slowing down and engaging with nature in an artistic way. While not every project felt fully instructional at a technical level, the book succeeds in sparking creativity and offering a wide range of elegant, nature-based ideas.
