BANGED: Rock Stars, Bad Boys & Dirty Deeds

Bargain anthology book set at £0.99p you need to check it out; When reading an anthology there's always a dodgy book but I can honestly say there wasn't a bad read in this set with the books ranging from the new adult genre to the standard romantic fiction. The title says it all Banged: Rock Stars, Bad Boys & Dirty Deeds was all about the music scene and those that inhabit the rock scene.

My only disappointment in the anthology was that there were a couple of books in there that were a shorter read aimed at hooking the reader into the series (which they really did and have become a 1 click book buyer yet again) All the books were well written and engaged you dragging you into each authors world easily. This 8 book anthology includes 2 books by Madelynne Ellis (sssshhh yes ones a Black Halo and the other sort of is too being based around Black Halos upcoming tour). Elizabeth Briggs gave me my favourite band Villain Complex in 'More than Music' the band competing in a battle of the bands reality TV Show.

My favourite in Banged is the first book I read Lust's Rhythm by Lexie Cooper it had it all hot rockers and forbidden romance. My favourite Heros had to duke it out I couldn't decide between 'Painkiller' hero Johnny Cage and 'Dirty' hero Wilson I'll have to wait to read the other books in the series to decide. Hailey from 'Three Nights with a Rock Star' was definitely my favourite heroine her change from sweet good girl to a confident rock stars girlfriend willing to flash the fellow members of the band just cause he asks her to. The most unexpected story for me came from 'the Rock Stars Secret Baby' not because it wasn't a good story but because it was a romantic suspense chocked full of drama with missing dead bodies and kidnapping plots.

Well, this is a real bargain bundle if like me you have a weakness for rock band romance. I’ve read a couple of stories from Lexxie Couper, but not from this series so I’m hoping I enjoy this one then there’s lots more for me to read.....Zara Keane is an author new to me so again I'm looking forward to reading this. Three Nights with a Rock Star, Amber Lin and Shari Slade was a five star read for me ( you can see my review under the original book title on my blog, amazon and goodreads, and the follow up was great too). Madelynne Ellis  does some terrific  5* ( for me anyway) rock star reads though I hadn’t read this one before, and the same with duo Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s Painkiller. I’ve loved books written by them both together and individually and you can see my reviews of them  under the original book titles or authors on my blog, amazon and goodreads, but not yet read this one. Ainsley Booth is another new to me author, so again I’m hoping I enjoy this one so can find more great books. Elizabeth Briggs Chasing the Dream series is fabulous, I’ve loved all of them so far and again my reviews of the series can be found on amazon, GoodReads and my blog Jeannie Zelos Book Reviews.

To sum up this is a great collection, with reads that are not just a bland romances but ones full of problems and pitfalls, happiness and heartbreak, drama and despair, ( I love alliteration – can you tell?)  with many of them being very erotic and sensual. I enjoy the real “touring” feel to this genre,and many in this collection deliver just that. Overall I need to feel the whole life of the characters, to be there with them, to live the drama as they do and it worked well in the ones I’ve read here, and soon as I’ve time I’m going to catch up with the others. So many books, so little time .....

This book consists of eight stories by authors who specialize in rock stars and bad boys. It's 949 pages of sexy guys and the women who want them. "Banged" is a great deal and an awesome opportunity to find new authors to love.

This book was right on the money for those readers that are wanting something just a little bit more. You will not be disappointed in this set of stories at all. Edge of your seat drama and hot sex to boot.

What an incredible display of hot alpha men!! Loved seeing all of the different writing styles from all of the different authors. Highly recommend!!

BANGED is a great boxed set that everyone needs to have on their e-readers. You can't go wrong with any of these stories, it took me some time to read them all but I loved every single one.

This anthology has everything a romance reader needs: bad boys, fiesty heroines, banter, sexy times, humor, sexual tension, swoon, more sexy times and heart. All these authors have a knack for delivering each of those and leave us satisfied and fanning ourselves.

Such a awesome box set.. What’s not to love with some Hawt Rockers and some major Bad Bays… Some of the authors are new to me.. but I read all of Ainsley Booth’s H@te Fu*k series.. so I knew I would soo love this book.. this is a great collection, and I can not wait to read more from all of these authors.. 

I love anthologies, especially prequels that pique my interest for new series to come!

I read so much it’s inevitable that I’ll need to check out new authors. Especially ones from a specific genre so anthologies are great way to do that. Banged, hit the perfect spot for my craving for rock star bad boys! It’s an amazing compilation of eight stories from great authors about “hard-rocking, hard-loving, bad boys” you won’t want to miss.

The other reason I picked up this package deal was because one of my favorite authoring duo, Carrie Quinn and Taryn Elliott, are starting a new rock series called First Hit and I just could not resist getting to know the first couple.

Evie Pierce is determined to succeed. She’s moved from London to the US to pick up the pieces of her career and put them back together. After a devastating defeat she’s putting everything she’s got into her training and doesn’t have time for anything else. This introduction story about Johnny Cage and Evie Pierce is incredibly hot and steamy. Cage is soloing with his acoustic guitar trying to find an outlet to his inner voice. Evie put on nice clothes that don’t hide her fierce grit and tough edges. These two clash and fight and flirt and have an incredibly hot night. Painkiller is a fun and exciting backstory of two supporting characters from two previous series by these authors (Lost in Oblivion and Tapped Out) I really can’t wait to know more of.

Painkiller is a prequel to the First Hist series by the awesome duo Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot. This novella can be read as a standalone. It’s written mostly from the heroine’s point of view. I recommend it for readers that like scorching romances with bad boy rockers and badass heroines.
